Chapter 554: Chapter 34: Alien Demon 1

Outer space.

Two people landed on the uneven ground before them. The satellite of this planet was not very large, and due to the lack of an atmosphere, the surface bore numerous craters from impacts, resembling the Moon in Su Ziyu’s memory.

"I need the nanomaterial combat suit."

After landing, Empress Isabella turned to Su Ziyu and said, "The combat suit has an intelligent auxiliary chip. I need it to open the base’s door."

She cleverly didn’t mention wanting her interstellar armor back, as from her perspective, she believed this man wouldn’t return the interstellar armor to her.

If he really returned it, with the protection of interstellar armor, she would have a certain degree of initiative.

This man was evidently very powerful, yet overly cautious and careful.

Su Ziyu hesitated a bit, then opened his other-dimensional storage space and took out Empress Isabella’s nanomaterial combat suit. Upon seeing Su Ziyu retrieve objects out of thin air, Empress Isabella’s pupils slightly shrank, a voice echoing in her mind: "Subspace mastery."

Unlike other dimensions, this crystal wall element’s half-plane, dimensional space, etc., are all collectively referred to as subspace.

Legend has it that there was once an extremely powerful spiritualist who created an independent subspace, then tossed a crippled space marine corps inside. In the abnormal time flow, only a few decades passed in the material world while the space marine corps completed tasks that would have taken over a thousand years in normal time.

Of course, that was possible only during the pinnacle of the Ancient Lost Empire in the Milky Way Galaxy.

It’s unlikely anyone can achieve that now.

The native strong figures within this crystal wall element once possessed power akin to gods, controlling territories spanning dozens or even hundreds of star systems.

However, that period was also a time of continuous warfare, with myriad warlords across regions. Some chaos-worshipping warlords even brainwashed people across entire planets by broadcasting their spiritual energy recordings, achieving absolute control over planetary inhabitants. But after the ancient lost empire’s fall, such powerful spiritualists became scarce, and usually, a planet having one or two level 9 spiritualists was considered very lucky.

"Here." Su Ziyu raised a hand and tossed over the nanomaterial combat suit, which still retained a trace of warmth from being recently removed.

Empress Isabella accepted it without hesitation, casting a slight glance at Su Ziyu, then turned and removed her clothing, revealing her smooth, white back. She showed no shyness, beginning to change into the nanomaterial combat suit in front of him. From Su Ziyu’s angle, he could see a small side of the white curve, her body excessively perfect, likely a product of genetic modification.

Bleep. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

Buzz.

The nanomaterial combat suit on Empress Isabella resembled a tight-fitting garment. After pressing a concealed button on the sleeve, electronic blue patterns instantly illuminated on the suit, extending metallic lines from her collarbone while the area from her neck downward caused her body to shudder slightly, as if electrified.

This nanomaterial combat suit connected with the implanted biological intelligent auxiliary chip within her body.

In a sense, Empress Isabella possessed an auxiliary system too, but it wasn’t on Su Ziyu’s level; it was a space marine auxiliary tool from the ancient lost empire era.

True space marines must be implanted with ’black shell’ type intelligent auxiliary tools.

"Follow me." After donning the nanomaterial combat suit, Empress Isabella appeared far more valiant. She finally felt less exposed in front of this man, with the combat suit providing her a tad bit of security.

A single leap was tens of meters afar.

After wearing the combat suit, Empress Isabella demonstrated a power increase exceeding fivefold of the initial strength and a threefold increase in agility, the biological micro-current stimulation combined with the energy boost from the nanomaterial combat suit made her capable of handling an enemy dressed in exoskeleton armor.

Su Ziyu swiftly followed suit.

With no air resistance, his telekinesis flight was very swift; in the outer space environment, achieving supersonic speed was effortless, but anything faster proved impossible.

Human bodies still have their limits.

The two rapidly advanced across the barren planet, halting before a massive crater. Empress Isabella slowly said, "It’s just around here."

"Logically, they should have detected us by now."

This military base operates independently from the empire, and only the empire’s emperor can command it.

Daily operations at the base involve very few personnel, hence there’s no need for a substantial supply of resources. The real warriors are stored in hibernation pods, some of whom failed spiritual ascension and were among the firstborn humans within the empire. This category of individuals often cannot live safely within underground protective barriers, leaving them the sole option of entering hibernation pods for slumber.

No response whatsoever.

Empress Isabella’s expression grew tense, murmuring, "It’s impossible for members of the Mechanical Pantheon to discover this place."

"The supplies stored in the base are sufficient for over a thousand years of use."

"The entrance is over there."

"We’ll find a way in."

Empress Isabella exhibited a hint of unease. Quickly, she approached one of the crater’s openings, activated a concealed device on a nearby cliff, and placed her finger against it.

"Unlocking genetic code."

"Activate."

Boom.

The ground before them abruptly split open, revealing a metal door leading underground, accompanied by an outdated and decaying scent.

"How long has it been since anyone’s visited here?" Su Ziyu inquired with a frown.

His spiritual perception sensed the presence of death.

"The personnel in the base generally reside in hibernation. We establish contact every three years," Empress Isabella explained, her countenance slightly troubled.

The passage, nearly thirty meters wide, lay vacant.

"Please present the authorization," a cold mechanical voice echoed.

Emerging from the darkness ahead was a humanoid silhouette, upon closer inspection, a silver-white robot. Empress Isabella promptly stepped forward, placed a finger on her temple, and the robot stepped back, announcing, "Welcome, Her Majesty the Empress!"

Inside the passageway.

Several opened metal panels gradually closed, a fleeting red glow observable from Su Ziyu’s angle, presumably the base’s automatic defense system.
