Chapter 48: Sophia

Ria took Azael into one of the most crowded streets of Elaris City.

But unlike the other crowded streets of the city where everything was more disciplined, where commoners behaved properly and rich merchants and nobles roamed in an orderly manner, this street was different.

This street was louder. Rougher. Wilder.

People laughed loudly, some were drunk even before sunset, and groups of rough-looking men stood in corners talking in low voices. There were gambling houses, bars, music halls, and places where people came not for business, but for entertainment and pleasure.

This area was clearly meant for people who wanted to spend money without caring about reputation.

Azael quietly followed Ria through the crowd. He noticed the way some men looked at her, but no one dared to stop her. It seemed she was known here.

After walking for a few minutes, she stopped in front of a huge building at the corner of the street.

The building was painted red, and a soft pink light glowed from the windows. Decorative lanterns hung outside, and two well-dressed guards stood near the entrance.

Azael, who was now wearing his mask, immediately understood what this place was.

He looked at Ria and asked quietly, "So this is a brothel?"

She looked at him and simply said, "Yes."

Azael nodded, slightly surprised at how luxurious the place looked. It looked more like a noble’s mansion than a place like this.

Men were coming in and out of the building constantly. Some looked very rich, some looked like merchants, and some were middle-class. It seemed as long as someone could pay, they were allowed inside.

Ria gestured for him to follow her. He nodded and followed her inside.

The moment they entered, Azael looked around carefully.

The ground floor had a large counter near the entrance and a huge hall. Expensive sofas were arranged all over the place. Many men were sitting there, drinking and laughing while being served by beautifully dressed women.

Some women were dancing in the middle area to entertain the guests. Music played softly in the background.

Azael observed everything quietly but didn’t react much.

Ria didn’t even look around. She simply continued walking deeper inside the building.

At the far end of the hall, there was a metal door built into the wall. Beautiful designs were carved on it.

Beside the door, there was a small button on the wall.

She pressed it gently. A mechanical sound came from it. With a soft sound, the door slid open to the side.

It was a lift that could take them up. She stepped inside, and Azael followed her.

As the door closed and the lift started moving upward, Azael looked around quietly, observing everything carefully.

He was surprised to see something like a lift here.

But then again, it was understandable. Magic existed in this world. People had probably used magic tools and engineering to create something that could move people up and down inside tall buildings. After all, there were huge tower-like buildings in this world, so creating something like this made sense.

’Amazing~’ Azael thought.

Soon the lift stopped, and the door opened.

They had reached the third floor, which seemed to be the top floor.

The moment they stepped out, Azael noticed something immediately. This floor was completely different from the ground floor.

It was quiet. There was silence and no one was present here.

The hallway was wide and covered with expensive carpets. Beautiful paintings hung on the walls, and soft lights illuminated the corridor, giving it a beautiful elegant vibe.

This place was clearly meant for important guests. For rich people.

Ria walked calmly through the hallway, and Azael quietly followed her.

They walked until they reached the last room on the floor.

The room had huge double doors with beautiful designs carved into the wood. The carvings looked expensive and artistic, probably made by a skilled craftsman.

Ria stopped in front of the door and knocked gently.

Then she spoke politely, "Madam, may we come inside?"

After a few seconds, a voice came from inside.

"Yes... you may come in."

It was a beautiful voice. Soft, sweet... and seductive. Azael could tell just by hearing it that it belonged to a gorgeous woman.

Ria slowly pushed the doors open and stepped inside.

Azael followed her silently.

Inside, the place was more beautiful than he could have thought.

It was a huge spacious room. Red-colored walls with golden ends at the corners.

Expensive furniture, just like how nobles have at their houses.

Paintings adorned the walls.

At one corner of the chamber was a big desk with documents on it.

No one was sitting there. Rather, opposite to it, there were three big sofa sets.

Two opposite to each other while one being in the middle at the edge of the two.

Between them a small table made up of glass.

But what drew Azael’s attention the most was the lady sitting on the middle sofa. Azael was surprised to see someone as beautiful as her present here.

Her long, silky brown hair cascaded down her back and shoulders in rich, lustrous waves, framing her body. She held a book in her right hand. When her eyes fell on them, she closed the book and put it aside.

Her skin was flawlessly fair and smooth, glowing under the light as if begging to be touched. Her hazel eyes were pure seduction. Smoldering, heavy-lidded, and laced with a dangerous, cunning gleam that promised pleasure and danger.

She was a breathtaking, mature woman who looked to be in her mid-thirties, radiating the kind of confident sensuality that only comes with experience.

She wore a crimson gown. The deep crimson gown clung to her sinful curves like a second skin, hugging every lush inch of her body. Her big breasts were full and perfectly shaped. Generous yet elegant, rising and falling with each breath, straining softly against the fabric.

They weren’t too large, but they were undeniably tempting.

The gown’s neckline plunged daringly low, revealing a deep, creamy cleavage that drew the eye like a magnet. The soft, pale mounds rose invitingly, practically begging Azael to lean in, to trace his fingers along that warm valley, to bury his face between them.

Her waist was slim and tightly covered by the dress, accentuating the flare of her wide, fertile hips. The fabric stretched greedily over her generous curves, hinting at the thick, powerful thighs hidden beneath.

She put her right leg above her left leg. That movement made the gown shift and cling, outlining the seductive sway of her thighs.

Azael swallowed hard, his throat suddenly dry, heat flooding his veins as he drank in the sight of her. His expression remained hidden behind the mask.

A smile appeared on her face as she watched the two figures entering the chamber, or say her office.

Ria bowed respectfully to her. "Greetings, Madam Sophia."

"Oh Ria. It seems....you came with the person you talked to me about." Her hazel eyes shifted from Ria to Azael.

Azael straightened his back. Not letting her know what he was feeling.

Then he also bowed lightly to greet her. "It’s a pleasure to meet you, Lady Sophia."

His voice was respectful yet professional.

Sophia didn’t reply. Her clear eyes observed the masked man keenly.

Then with a professional beautiful smile she said, "It’s my pleasure to meet you, Sir... please have a seat." Her voice filled with slight seduction.

Azael walked forward and sat on the sofa which was on her right-hand side. He observed her from closer.

’She’s so sexy~’

Ria came and stood behind the sofa where Azael was sitting.

Sophia leaned her back against the sofa and crossed her arms under her chest, pushing her breasts up, which made them more prominent, drawing Azael’s gaze for a moment.

"So...can I get to know what name you are called by?" She asked with a teasing tone, not sounding disrespectful at all.

Azael thought for a while. He had just worn the mask on a whim. He just didn’t want these people to know that the young master of a Duke family had come to a brothel. If someone got to know that, then he would be in big trouble.

"You can call me Ethan."

"So, Sir Ethan...hehe~ it must be your fake name or a name you use for business. But then again, it doesn’t matter to me." She said with a chuckle. She knew that it was a fake name but didn’t ask him further about it.

"I wanted to serve you a drink...but I guess with that mask you cannot have one."

"You do not have to do that. I just came here to buy this woman. Let’s just get over with it," he simply told her with a calm voice.

"Come on, why are you in such a hurry?... Well anyways, I will do as you say."

She pulled out a yellowish thick paper, which was mostly a contract.

"I prepared this in advance after Ria told me about you...but first comes the money. You need to pay 10,000 gold coins for her," she said while waving the hand which held the contract.
