Transmigrated To A Beastworld As The Lazy Wife Of The Fox Lord-Chapter 50: Stay, acomplished.
Elias clenched his jaw harder and turned around, "We should take this conversation outside."
Sienna’s hand shot out and grabbed him. "No, stay." she said sternly. She took her hand back and repeated the command, "I said stay."
He turned around, eyebrows lifted curiously. That was the same voice he used when he was training with the fox guard.
Sienna was simply worried that he would leave and she would not see him again for another week, month or even year. What would happen to her missions then? "I have something to say. If you want to hear me out, stay."
Elias flexed his hands, nodded and sat down in the single sofa in the room.
Sienna heard the sound she had been waiting for.
[Congratulations host. Your rewards are available.

She had been reading up on mental strength skills. Iron focus was for absolute concentration. Mind shield was a mental barrier to protect her from manipulation, illusions or emotional attacks. On the beast continent which had many beast men and women with mental strength, it was a good skill to have.
"Are you going to say anything at all?" Elias asked her.
He pulled her from her thoughts. Sienna walked back and sat down on the bed. "Mmm, I have been thinking about your proposal, the scenting one."
"And?" he asked in monotone, like they were talking about having eggs for breakfast.
Sienna exhaled shakily. "I am not ready to see you totally naked. I think I should be in something like a towel....or a night gown and you could be in shorts or something that covers that part of you."
Elias sniggered.
Sienna seethed. She raised her voice. "You understand what I mean. Anyway, that is what I think. If not, we can try the bath water thing the queen mentioned." She stopped and shook her head. "You know what, I think that is gross. Nobody should be soaking in another’s bath water. It is disgusting and if it is a tradition, it should be...."
"It means taking a bath together." Elias cut in, smirking arrogantly.
Sienna’s mouth formed an ’O’ as she was taken by surprise.
"Naked." He added.
She closed her mouth.
He stood up. "I like it. Thank your for being proactive, understanding and responsible. Given that the annual Council of Beasts meeting is happening in a month, we should start soon and do it often." He kept taking steps to the door as he explained. "We will start tonight."
Sienna barely had time to react before the door was closed.
"Wait..what?" she asked the empty space.
She heard his voice in her mind, whispering ’tonight’ followed by a snigger. Then his voice came again, thanking her for being proactive.
Sienna jumped up, and pulled the door open. "That was not what I meant."
She bumped into her mother who grabbed her hands. "What were you thinking by provoking a queen bee?" 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Sienna responded frantically with a question. "Mother, where is Elias?"
Mrs. Miller’s worried eyes remained focused on Sienna, roaming over her in search of injuries. "Forget Elias, you are divorcing him anyway. I am more worried about you and your bee hunt that you did not share with me by the way. Why did I have to hear about this from your brother?"
Sienna shook her body from side to side, "Mom, that is not what matters right now. I am about to eaten clean. I need to find Elias and clarify something."
Shalin’s shadow entered the door before the servant did. And she came carrying bad news for Sienna. "Lord Elias has left. He will be back in the evening, but Lady Cadelaria has arrived. She bought a cottage six doors down from us, to the right."
"Oh no!" Sienna moaned. "I came here to escape her and she followed me! Why is she here?"
Shalin leaned forward, making their group of three look like a trio engaged in some juicy gossip. "Apparently, young master Elias cried all morning because you couldn’t be bothered with him anymore and you only love miss Ali. So, Lady Cadelaria decided there and then that she and Lord Marius would be moving here to make sure that young master’s emotional needs were taken of by you."
Sienna scoffed. "When that brat was screaming and calling me a bad woman and insulting me, they could not be bothered to defend me. But, he grows jealous of my relationship with his sister and suddenly I am summoned to proclaim my love for him! Hmph! His grandmother should teach him manners before expecting anything from me."
Mrs. Miller nudged Sienna on the arm. "That is not how parenting works, Sienna. You have done many things in your life that could have made me break off my relationship with you but I have never done so, because I am your mother. I brought you into this world. I have to be responsible for you to the very end."
Sienna disagreed. "I have done many things but none included disrespecting you, calling you names or ordering servants to roll you in a rug and throw you out. I am willing to admit that I was not the best mother and I am open to making amends but it is only possible if Eli is not being a little tyrant."
She huffed. These were the sins of the original Sienna, why did she have to live like a boot licker for the little tyrant forever just to make things right?
Sienna turned, heading for the kitchen. Her mother and Shalin followed.
"Mother, being a mother does not mean being a punching bag for your children." She would not do it. No matter how much Lady Cadelaria and others vilified her for it.
If Ali could see that her brother was mean, at the age of only five, why couldn’t other adults see it just as clearly?
Mrs. Miller had a different opinion. "It also doesn’t mean ignoring them. For goodness sake Sienna, you left my grandson on the ground, screaming his lungs out. I am half tempted to take a stick and beat common sense back into you." She picked up a yellow lemon from a basket on the kitchen counter and threw it as gently as she could at Sienna’s back.
