Transmigrated: The Lycan King's Pet-Chapter 402 Time to Pay Your Debt
The moment Theo and Alaric got to the hill, they both stopped in their tracks.
They transformed back to their human form, their hearts clenching painfully at the thought that Ember was no more.
Theo stepped forward, and Alaric held him back. His eyes welled with tears.
"Let’s give him space," Alaric said, his voice sad and solemn.
He owed his life to Ember, without her sacrifice, he and the others would have remained dead. This debt, could he ever repay this debt?
Theo turned away from him, and tears trickled down his face. His heart hurt in waves, he felt everything was so unfair to his father and Ember.
How could the universe choose to torment a single person so severely? What kind of Karma was it that was so great?
Seeing his father hugging the tree sobbing, Theo’s heart broke into thousands of pieces. His shoulders shook as waves of emotions ran through him.
...
Meanwhile, back in the Bloodmoon pack.
A figure walked slowly into the mansion, his feet dragging against the floor, leaving a deep red stain trail behind him.
His groan of pain echoed through the corridor. His teeth gritted in annoyance. Not only had his plan failed, but he had lost everything, his warriors, his allies, and he almost lost his life.
Alpha Lucas dragged himself into his throne room. The only place he believed he could have some rest and heal his wound.
But the wound on his back and leg was not healing no matter how much time had passed.
"Guards." He called, his eyes getting a little bit dizzy. He had to blink and shake his head a little to get a clear view.
But no matter how he called out for his guards, no one came to his aid.
His brown eyes narrowed dangerously, a deep low growl rumbling from the back of his throat.
"Guards!" He angrily called out again, sending the table in front of him flying and crashing against the floor with a loud noise.
Then, the door to the throne room, slowly creaked open.
His eyes snapped to the door immediately, and then a familiar figure appeared before him.
"Allison." He called out, his voice tensing. She was the last person he wanted to see him in this state.
"Alpha Lucas," Allison called out a little warily. Her eyes followed the blood trail on the ground. She hurried towards his side.
"You are hurt." Her brows furrowed, as she checked his wounds.
"What happened?" She asked with a frown.
"That bitch Ember, happened. She f**king sacrificed herself, killing all my warriors and the corrupted witches." Lucas said groaning in pain, when Allison touched his wounds.
"How did you then escape if the Greater Evil could not?" Allison probed.
"She gave me a teleportation charm. I activated it the moment I saw the disaster unleashed." Lucas said, his eyes turning sharper. "Now bring me the medicine!" He barked at her, throwing her hand away from his body.
Allison lowered her head. "Yes, Alpha." She answered and quickly rose back to her feet to search for the medicine.
Alpha Lucas reached under his throne seat and brought a bottle of strong alcohol he had kept there. He had wanted to drink it to celebrate his victory.
But right now, he was too bitter and in pain that he wanted anything that could numb it for him.
He opened the cork, throwing it away and he placed the bottle in his mouth lazily, gurgling down its contents.
The alcohol poured from his mouth, running from the corner of his lips down to his chest.
Not too long Allison returned with a bowl of medicine. She knelt before him. "Here, have some medicine." She said, a little crease of worry forming on her face.
Alpha Lucas glanced at her. "You think I don’t know that you are trying to poison me?"
"Why would I want you to die? That was before when I didn’t realize we were having a child, but now that I know, I no longer want you dead." She said innocently.
Alpha Lucas glanced at her, a little skeptical. His hand reached out to collect the bowl of medicine.
Allison remained in her spot, waiting eagerly for him to drink the medicine.
Alpha Lucas brought the bowl to his mouth. He paused, glancing at Allison. Something inside him told him not to trust her, so he immediately smashed the bowl on the ground.
Allison frowned at his behavior.
"Get me my doct..." Alpha Lucas’s words slurred. "What... did.. You... do... to... me?"
He shook his head to clear his dazed mind, but it wasn’t working.
Allison stood up, her worried expression changing into a cold and sharp one. "Your biggest mistake was coming back here." Her voice sent chills down his spine.
Alpha Lucas tried to summon his wolf, but no matter how he tried, he couldn’t.
"What have you done to me?" He asked, his voice laced with fear as he crawled backward.
"You all can come in now," Allison said, her voice authoritative and cold.
Alpha Lucas’ eyes glanced towards the door, and dozens of werewolves from the Crescent Moon pack entered the hall.
They were the remaining survivors of Alpha Allison’s pack.
"It is time to pay the debts you owe us," Allison said, stepping back.
The werewolves stepped forward with their claws elongated. One by one they began stabbing their claws through his flesh, slashing his stomach open.
Alpha Lucas cried out in agony, the fury in her people’s eyes sent dread through him. He was an alpha, yet he was nothing but a human right now.
"Wolfbane!" He growled in pain as realization dawned on him.
The werewolves, both betas and Omegas, continued stabbing him, in his legs, arms, some ripped off his fingers and toes, others slashed his back, face, and stomach.
They made sure not to hit his vital organs as his life belonged to their Alpha.
"I know you wouldn’t drink the medicine, so I put it in your drink. I took the gamble and it worked perfectly. At least you tasted the drink you painstakingly kept for years to celebrate... your downfall." Allison burst out in laughter.
Her acting skills had really improved.
Blood splattered all over the floor, Alpha Lucas watched in horror, as his body was slowly dismembered.
He cried and begged. "Allison, please... spare me! Argh!" He cried as his leg was ripped off.
"For the sake of our child, Allison, pleassesse!!" The other leg was ripped off.
After all the werewolves had their turn, they parted ways for Allison to walk through.
Allison walked slowly towards Alpha Lucas. "Child? What child? I already got rid of it." She said calmly.
Alpha Lucas’ eyes widened in horror. "You B**ch!!! Gurgle..."
Allison slashed his throat with one swift move. "Go to hell you monster!" His blood sprayed across her face.
Alpha Lucas’ eyes widened in fear as he choked on his blood. "You..." He gave up the ghost.
Tears trickled down Allison’s face, her hands trembled beside her. Revenge was supposed to feel good, but why did she feel hollow? She had finally gotten rid of the monster in her life, yet all she felt was... emptiness.
She walked slowly out of the hall, her hand resting gently on her stomach. Her remaining pack members followed closely behind her, leaving the dismembered Alpha lying scattered in his pool of blood.
