Transmigrated As The Final Villain of a Death Game-Chapter 271: Hell Raid Arc [ 14 ]
Honestly, I thought I had stood a much bigger chance against Wilhelm. Maybe Ren’s praise got in my head a little too much?
Though... as it stood, I couldn’t even fully cancel his Telekinesis with my Telekinesis Anchoring, since Spatial Telekinesis could easily bypass all defenses, including those erected by Telekinesis itself.
I wished I knew how to counter something like this, but sadly, Wilhelm had written the book Mastery of Telekinesis without describing the weaknesses of any of the forms he was teaching.
Everything was meant to be first learned, mastered, and then put through hours, if not years, of practice before actually being able to distinguish weaknesses. I knew that much after learning Atomic Telekinesis and realizing how little the manual actually said aside from just the bare minimum.
Still... feeling my body being ripped apart and my nerve endings twisted wasn’t the most pleasant feeling. If anything, this was perhaps the most pain I’ve ever felt in my life. Yet I didn’t even have any time to express it, since even a moment of weakness would result in my head being torn off.
With each exchange, or rather, attack, Wilhelm split the red ocean in two, revealing thousands of mountains and sharp mountaintops, alongside a few aquatic creatures. Not to mention that crab from earlier continued to lurk in the depths of the ocean, trying to find the perfect opportunity to gobble either of us whole.
The waves crashed into my body, and as my blood began being directly meddled with, I finally realized just how big a gap there actually was between a Demon King and someone like me. Someone who, despite so much power, had a very weak foundation.
After all, who in their right mind could reach Grade 60 in power, yet barely even have Master Rank in his Gift Masteries? In front of people like Wilhelm and the others... I was just some wannabe powerhouse.
It clearly showed.
Yet, after several minutes of being tossed and turned, ripped apart, and having my bones shattered, I felt that a small chunk of my Divine Energy was restored. Compared to what I used before, it was only a fifth, but even then, I didn’t hesitate to immediately tap into that power.
In an instant, the world slowed down around me, and when the colors shifted to white and black, I was once again able to see what needed to be seen. For one, I saw a thin thread of white energy flowing from Wilhelm’s body.
That energy zig-zagged when it got near me, and when it finally reached one of my vitals, it began spinning in a circle, disrupting the space around it and causing a small spatial crack to appear, which then began slowly ripping my flesh apart.
So that was how he did it... It didn’t seem that hard to do. If anything, seeing everything in slow motion and in such high detail, it was like a blessing. A learning experience of sorts that I decided to take full advantage of.
I dashed backward and observed the same attack again, then again, and again... So long as I didn’t actually directly use my Divine Energy, I could keep this slowed time and high perception power up for nearly as long as I wanted.
And so, after nearly 30 minutes in my time, I used Black Lightning to reappear on a distant mountain peak, slightly surprising Wilhelm by how easily I managed to escape from his Spatial Telekinesis.
Despite that, he slashed the air in front of him, and with a single step, he reappeared right beside me. He didn’t attack right away, and instead, he said:
"You have very impressive durability, I’ll give you that much. But just how long are you planning to run away for?"
I shrugged.
"Who knows? Demonic Energy affects me too, you know? I can continue to restore my energy just like you, so I can make it so this fight never ends."
Before he could reply, I smiled widely, slightly causing his brows to furrow.
Then, as he was in the midst of raising his hand, time once again slowed down for me as I tapped into the energy inside my Mind Realm. In particular, Telekinesis’s energy.
I had the theoretical side of Spatial Telekinesis down already. It was fairly simple on the surface, as all I needed to do was cause controlled disruptions, which were surprisingly easy to control with Telekinesis.
And now, after being beaten over and over again, I knew how it looked when put into practice.
So with that in mind, I quickly raised my hand, and to the shock of the slowed-down Wilhelm, a thin thread of white energy escaped my palm. It moved very fast, much faster than Wilhelm’s.
Once it was close enough to Wilhelm’s body, I began violently zig-zagging the energy, which generated some sort of invisible force. I hadn’t realized it before, but that invisible force multiplied the sharpness of the thin thread of white energy, which meant that so long as I kept zig-zagging the energy without actually causing any disruptions, I’d be able to use a Spatial Telekinesis attack on a much larger scale.
But that wasn’t what interested me at the moment.
Therefore, I decided to keep it simple as my thin thread finally reached Wilhelm’s arm. In the next instant, I recreated the spiral he had done, except mine was far more compact than his, which in turn caused a chunk of his skin to be ripped right off, and his bone to be twisted inwardly.
My Divine Energy ran out in that exact same instant, and when I spotted everything finally moving in real time, I realized just how fast what I did was. More importantly, as I stared at Wilhelm’s arm that was twisted into an odd shape, and his bone that was morphed like a lotus flower, I couldn’t help but let out a chuckle.
I never really expected to be able to use Spatial Telekinesis, at least not for another couple of years.
But because of Divine Energy and Wilhelm, I was able to.
Perhaps Divine Energy wasn’t that bad after all?
Still...
With the fight now entering slightly more fair ground, it was about time I went on the attack.
