Transmigrated As The Final Villain of a Death Game-Chapter 252: The Meeting In Helheim [ 16 ]
To account for my constantly increasing reserves, I needed something that could expand proportionally. This aquarium here holds my energy, and in turn, my energy adapts to it. But at some point, I’ll start suffering a bottleneck, just because my energy is confined to a single space.
And for that reason, I paused for a brief moment, waiting for my Divine Energy to regenerate. It seemed like every time I used a little bit, a petal from the rose would fall. Once all the petals fell, it was empty.
Every minute, a petal grew back, and after just 30 minutes, my Divine Energy was restored. So finally, I merely wrapped the aquarium in a bubble, and I imagined that bubble adapting to my energy instead of the other way around.
It would continue to expand, basically.
And since I knew just how much energy I actually had, I had no choice but to float the bubble, as well as the aquarium, into the sky. Once it was far enough away from the ground, past the clouds, I took a deep breath and shattered the aquarium.
In the next instant, my energy broke free and began filling the bubble. The bubble expanded rapidly, to the point where, in just a few minutes, it seemed like a second sun had appeared in the sky. Except this sun was black and white, with a slightly blue gradient.
From the ground, it looked even bigger than the sun I had before. Honestly... so long as this works, I don’t mind how it looks.
So in the end, realizing that I had already done nearly everything I had set out to do, all I needed now was to put the Mind Realm inside my actual heart.
At first, I had no idea how to even go about doing something like this. After all, this was completely new territory for me.
And yet, once I gave it some thought, I figured that it might be a little simpler than it appeared. Therefore, I sat down, crossed my legs, and lastly, closed my eyes.
What I actually needed to do was establish a connection to my physical body. But doing so was difficult, at least from the Mind Realm itself.
That was why I went ahead and left the Mind Realm entirely. When I snapped out of it, I realized a big chunk of my energy appeared to be gone, and clearly, I wasn’t the only one who noticed that, as Ren was the first one to pick up on it.
"Did you fail? What happened? Why are you suddenly a Grade 25?"
Instead of answering him, I simply closed my eyes and did a few quick tests. Whenever I used my energy, I didn’t feel it deplete. That was most likely because the energy from within the Mind Realm restored it.
Since that was the case, I imagined a thin strand forming between the Mind Realm and the energy within my heart. The more I used my energy, the clearer that thin strand began to manifest, until eventually, I felt a barely noticeable connection form within my heart.
That connection was similar to the fragment I used to have, except it was even fainter. But that faint connection expanded the moment I pushed my energy into that thread, causing a giant chunk of my energy to vanish and make me look weaker.
Then, with one final push, I had no more energy inside my heart. And yet, there was still a faint amount of energy circling my body. As for the connection I had formed, it was now the size of my whole heart, perfectly enveloping it while also making my energy not only undetectable, but also much more potent.
After all, with this method, I could seamlessly draw out Divine Energy alongside my own energy. The hard part was obviously just adjusting to the sensation of my energy being there and not being there at the same time.
Drawing it out was the same, but just a little more convenient now. At a moment’s notice, I could just close my eyes, glance into my heart, see my Mind Realm, interact with it, and even gauge just how much regular energy and Divine Energy I had.
And with the rest of my energy now inside that bubble, it looked like there was a giant planet right above me, about to collide with my Mind Realm.
Anyhow... it really was over now, and with how many possibilities this just opened up, I was sure that I’d become several times stronger. But then again, I’d only really be able to test it when I fight someone.
Once I finally wrapped everything up and opened my eyes, I was surprised to see just how many looks of astonishment were directed at me. Even Ren was no different, as his mouth was wide open.
No one said anything, and while they continued to stare at me, I suddenly felt light-headed. Since I was already sitting, I didn’t feel it that much at first, when out of nowhere, a loud buzzing noise resounded inside my ear, followed by a sharp chest pain right where my heart was.
My eyes widened slightly, and for a moment, I thought I had messed up somewhere in the process of making this connection. Yet when the sensation of something sharp piercing my back hit me, and nothing actually happened, I realized that I was now enduring the damage I had inflicted onto myself inside the Mind Realm.
Except now, that damage was not only amplified, but also slowed down, so I’d feel it for longer. The sensation of my heart being pierced felt like molten lava was being poured all over my body.
I couldn’t do anything to ease the pain.
But at the very least... my poker face was great. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
"Well... that’s a first," Ren said.
After a brief pause, he added:
"You look like an ordinary human now. I can’t feel even a sliver of energy on you. Huh..."
He raised his hand and pushed Alexius aside. Then, he stood up, and with a slight smile, said:
"I formally propose that you, Amon Everness, become my official successor."
"..."
What now?
