Transmigrated As The Final Villain of a Death Game-Chapter 249: The Meeting In Helheim [ 13 ]
I focused deeply and pictured myself standing in a blank void. It was fairly easy, since I already knew what I was doing.
Once I was in the very center of that blank void, and no sound from the outside reached my ears, I knew that everything was going normally.
After all, this was like a state of ultimate focus for me. It’s just that, now that I’m conscious of the surroundings of this strange realm, I finally realized just how dull it is.
Not to mention, I always remember only being able to play games when there was a beautiful view beside me. No wonder my progress wasn’t as fast as it should be for someone with the Sword Saint Gift.
Obviously... This whole realm needed a makeover. For starters, shouldn’t I come up with a name for this realm?
Eh...
I don’t want anything fancy, or else I’d just end up like Kevin, who would easily name this realm something like The Divine Meditation And Training Realm.
So for me, something simple like the Mind Realm would work just fine.
And right as that name solidified itself in my mind, I suddenly felt a deeper connection to this whole realm. It was a little strange, since now, I felt like my movements were a little more fluid than before.
Not only that, when I closed my eyes inside the Mind Realm and reopened them, I could stare at myself from a third-person perspective. It actually was like a game, and when I could still move and do whatever I wanted even though I was staring at myself from above, I was very surprised at how all of this worked.
It’s like... Even though I couldn’t see well, my movements still came across however I wanted them to. Swinging an imaginary sword was effortless, and all the comprehension I could get through that swing was immediately inside my mind.
Who knew that just giving something a name would make it that much more overpowered?
Still... The thing I actually needed was to give this color. So why not?
I glanced around the empty void, then imagined something as simple as a tree appearing. In the next instant, I felt a tiny bit of my energy get drained. Shortly after, a slight purple crack appeared at the edge of my Mind Realm, followed by a completely white tree manifesting itself out of nowhere.
Then, it slowly gained color, contrast, and even details. It was almost like that purple energy was drawing the tree into existence in real time.
And after just a few minutes, the tree was done. It was an extremely large cherry blossom tree that took up a huge chunk of my Mind Realm. But I didn’t mind it, since it reminded me of my parents.
After all... They got married under a cherry blossom tree, and like the little imp that I was, I went around tossing petals all over the guests.
I still remember how much I pissed them off, but since I was just a little kid, I was immune to consequences.
Letting out a chuckle, I decided to add some more stuff, such as the home Clementine and I lived in, and even a small waterfall that looked kind of like the one right outside our home.
I made sure that the cherry blossom tree covered the home just enough so the rays of sunlight wouldn’t bother me.
Afterwards, since I didn’t have anything else I wanted to add, I decided to just fill the blank space with a blue sky, hundreds of clouds, and even a sun behind one of the clouds so it wasn’t too bright.
As for everything around me, I just filled it in with grass and a forest, then imagined each tree giving off the scent of flowers.
Once I was finished, I imagined myself going back into my body, and when I could see through my own eyes again, I glanced around.
Everything was done... And everything looked beautiful. I guess the only thing I kind of wanted to do was add day and night cycles? If that’s possible, then that’d look very cool.
But until then, with my Mind Realm finally decorated, the only thing left to do was to imagine everything saving. The last thing I wanted was for all my progress to get randomly deleted.
Finally, I left my Mind Realm and opened my eyes. Then, I nodded at Alexius.
"I’m done."
"That fast?" Alexius raised a brow.
Even Ren was slightly surprised.
"You were only gone for two seconds, so that was what, around two hours inside? That’s the fastest I’ve seen someone create their inner realm and give life to it. Unless you’re not done yet?"
I shook my head.
"I’m done. I wouldn’t be able to tell that it isn’t a real place if I found myself there randomly."
Ren hummed in satisfaction, and that was when Alexius finally seemed satisfied.
"Very well. Since you’ve done the basics, I suppose I should ask you this. Did you see a purple energy first appear before your objects were manifested?"
I nodded.
"Yeah, it was like a spatial crack."
"That’s good. Now I want you to go back into that realm of yours and manifest that purple spatial crack. Just this time, make sure it doesn’t close."
He paused for a moment, then said:
"The truth of Divine Energy is that it exists inside everyone. It’s just that only a few people can utilize it outside of their inner realms."
"You’ve now gotten a feel for that energy, so the only thing you need to do is establish a connection with it."
My eyes widened slightly. I was honestly less surprised about the fact that everyone had Divine Energy, rather than the fact that there might be people trying to mass-produce beings who can use Divine Energy freely.
I had no idea just what exactly Divine Energy was yet, but if it’s as grand as it sounds... I didn’t want that to happen.
"Now, everyone has their own ways of connecting Divine Energy to their bodies. I, for one, linked it to my brain, as it provides increased mental aptitude and energy manipulation one or two ranks above your Gift’s mastery rank. There’s more to it, of course, but I lack the knowledge of how to utilize it to its full potential."
Basically, he only knew the theoretical side of simple aspects, not how to apply them correctly.
So by that logic, the only thing he was capable of teaching me was how to establish a connection with Divine Energy...
"In the end, it is entirely up to you to decide what you want to do. Just make sure that choice is final, as you won’t be able to change it in the future."
Hearing that, I just stared at him for a few moments.
Nearly a year ago, I was met with a similar choice, except the Dragon Heart was the thing involved.
I could’ve chosen my arms to dragonize, or even my entire body. I would’ve died back then had I done my full body, but now...?
"Hypothetically, what if I were to connect Divine Energy to my whole body?"
