Aurelia Shaw frowned in suspicion, looking back at him every few steps, wondering what was on his mind. Ten minutes later, she found out; he stood by watching her the entire time.

Mason Nightshade was even busier; Aurelia Shaw didn't know if Mason Nightshade secretly got up to handle company affairs while she was asleep. While she was in the hospital, he was obviously swamped, but in these few days here, she hadn't seen him dealing with work at all.

"Bro, I'm heading back." Aurelia Shaw said to Caspian Parker.

Caspian Parker glanced at the tall man behind her, stood silently for a while, then extended his long, fair hand, "You saved my sister, thank you."

Mason Nightshade glanced at his hand, paused, then shook it, but said, "Saving her was the right thing to do, no thanks needed from anyone."

Albert gave a helpless smile, glancing at his outspoken sister, and gently reminded, "Caspian is her brother."

Daisy stamped her foot, "Brother, I don't need you to remind me, I've lost to a man with a sister complex!"

Albert couldn't help but chuckle even more, teasing, "That's quite an... apt metaphor."

Daisy's face turned green with frustration.

Caspian Parker and the others needed to stay a few more days, so Aurelia Shaw could only leave with Mason Nightshade's car. Before leaving, Aurelia Shaw handed a check to Caspian Parker.

Caspian Parker looked up at her in confusion.

Aurelia Shaw explained, "It's for the earthquake disaster area, please pass it on for me."

"I don't need all that," Aurelia Shaw said. If she wanted fame or something, just money alone could buy them, but she didn't want to.

Some things are more important than gaining some fame, glory, or attention.

Over the past few days, Aurelia Shaw was exhausted. She fell asleep as soon as she sat in the car, her head swaying and about to hit the door frame.

Mason Nightshade quickly put his hand up, stopping her head from hitting the glass, silently breathing a sigh of relief. With a slight move of his fingers, he adjusted her head to rest on his shoulder.

"Why don't you just invent some drug to shrink this girl so you can carry her in your pocket all day," Grayson Quinn rolled his eyes, unable to stand how Mason Nightshade spoiled this girl so much.

Junia Simpson spoke indifferently, "Aurelia is Nightshade's wife, your jealousy is misplaced."
