Top Actress Beware: Also Reborn Is Your CEO Husband!-Chapter 575: Don’t Touch Me!
Aurelia's features were cool and clear, with the end of her chopsticks holding a sprig of cilantro.
She lifted her eyelids, her eyes glistening coldly as she looked at Eleanor Spencer, her red lips curving into a beautiful arc.
"I'm allergic to cilantro."
Eleanor's expression froze, the rich emotions she was brewing came to a sudden halt, her face as expressive as ever.
Aurelia's smile was full of sarcasm, "Isabel, we're straightforward people, you're not just inviting me out for a meal, are you?"
"I... I... Aurelia, don't get me wrong, I'm just worried you might not handle the Stardust issue well, and we haven't caught up in a long time, especially with your divorce from Mason Nightshade..."
Realizing she said the wrong thing, Eleanor abruptly shut her mouth, glanced at Aurelia, her rosy lips pressed tightly, hesitating whether to continue.
"When I first heard the news... I was indeed shocked, though I knew Mason didn't like you, I didn't expect you to do something so extreme."
"You liked Mason so much... but well, it's for the best. There's something I never told you, and I think you can handle it now. Mason once got drunk and said he didn't like you at all. I didn't tell you then because I was afraid you'd be hurt, Aurelia, it was right to leave him. You'll find the one truly meant for you."
Even to the very end, Eleanor never forgot to create a rift between her and Mason Nightshade.
"Isn't 'God' about to be released?" Aurelia suddenly asked.
Eleanor was taken aback.
Aurelia continued, "'God' and 'Stardust' were originally supposed to be released simultaneously, but then 'Stardust' ran into some issues and had to delay. Two of the most controversial directors' films, and 'Stardust' hasn't even seen the light yet, it's about to wither away."
Eleanor blinked and smiled, "Thankfully, those rumors have passed. I saw the Royal Friendship's clarification video online with great feedback. It certainly won't affect 'Stardust's release, collecting that evidence must've taken quite some effort, right?"
Aurelia didn't respond.
Unable to extract any valuable information from Aurelia's lips, Eleanor felt a bit unsatisfied.
"What's next for 'Stardust'? Isn't it time for publicity? It's such a pity they can't be released concurrently." Eleanor sighed, glancing at Aurelia.
Aurelia's lips curled, "It's a pity indeed, otherwise there would have been quite a show, at times you are indeed quite lucky."
"What?" Eleanor, not hearing clearly, looked up at her.
Aurelia shook her head, "It's nothing."
Eleanor hated her mysterious demeanor, as if she were a level above her, while clearly, in the entertainment industry, she's the one stepping over her!
Suppressing the anger in her chest, Eleanor attempted to extract more useful information, but saw Aurelia wiping her mouth and standing up.
"You..."
"I'm full," Aurelia said, lifting her chin, "The food here is indeed good, I should dine here often."
"Aurelia..." Eleanor stood up, hurriedly trying to grab Aurelia's wrist.
At the moment her fingers touched her arm, Aurelia's face suddenly changed, she abruptly slapped Eleanor's hand away, turning back, glaring at her with eyes full of murderous intent and chilliness.
Eleanor shivered all over, forgetting the pain in her hand, staring in shock at Aurelia's cold, glistening eyes.
