Thrusted into a world ruled by women-Chapter 246: Want to become gods?
The party had ended, and everyone had gone to sleep, except Jin. He was in bed, Angela sleeping next to him as he rubbed her belly. It brought him a lot of joy knowing that he was going to be a father again.
This wasn't his first rodeo, but each time he had a kid, he was always happy.
The world was also back to its former glory. Jin made sure of that. The destruction caused by everything that happened within the past few months was restored, but the lives were still lost.
To make society cope better, Jin altered the souls and fate of the people around the world to accept what happened and move on, leaving everything in the past. This meant that he could go outside and not be targeted anymore.
Since he had his old body back, there were a lot of things he could do, and he was happy to be this powerful once again. It was as if he were whole again.
"Mmnn~Your hand tickles," Angela said in a tired voice, yawning and turning around to lie on Jin's chest.
"Heh, sorry. I was just thinking, and I guess I got carried away."
"It's fine, I like how your hand feels. Whachu thinking about?"
"Our future. About what lies next for us. Say, would you want to become a god?"
That was such an easy question to answer, yet it took Angela quite a bit of time to do so.
"What would that look like?" She wondered.
"Well, immortality, traveling the universe, meeting people, war, lots of it, but there is also a lot of fun. Oh, and there's this place called Divinity City where most of the gods of the universe live. It's the size of like, five galaxies. Massive place."
"That sounds fun and scary at the same time."
"Heh. Trust me, it is."
"What about you? Do you want to become a god?"
"You know, I think I will. There was a part of me that wanted to stay mortal. A part of me wanted to stay grounded. But look at me, I have the power to slay gods. There's nothing mortal about that. I might as well take that final step, you know?"
Angela snuggled even more with Jin. "Honestly, I have no idea."
"Yeah, that makes sense. But, I just wanted to hear your thoughts on this matter."
"Would you have made the same decision if I had a different answer?"
"Most likely, yeah."
"Then you simply wanted validation."
Jin looked at Angela with wide eyes. "Is our kid making you smarter?"
"Hey!"
"Hahaha!"
---
Jin was sitting outside, looking at the sky, not bothered by the bright sun beating down on his face. He thought about his conversation with Angela last night and had asked the same question to the others in the morning.
When they answered him, he wasn't even surprised by their responses in the slightest. It was safe to say that all of them thought that he was an idiot for thinking they would want to stay mortal when they could become divine.
He thought they would have different opinions on this matter, but they told him that after experiencing his world, the magic world, they wanted to step further into it, and that meant becoming gods.
Of course, this wouldn't happen right away, but it was good to know for later.
"What are you thinking about?" Jessa walked outside and sat next to Jin, looking up at the sky as well, the sun's beams not bothering her.
"Just waiting for the Primordials to arrive."
"Really? That's all?"
"Yup. Got nothing else to do."
"You could hang with us. Oh, Roby and Sandra's baby is coming soon. She's in labor."
"Yeah, I delivered the baby."
"What?"
"I snapped my fingers and poof, the baby was there, no need to go to a hospital."
"Well damn. I wish I had given birth like that."
"Heh, I bet."
"How were you when I was gone. I know you told me about what you did, but you never told me how you felt."
"I was lonely. My world was taken from me, and then my memories came back, which, at first, was a bit overwhelming. It was as if another life, multiple lives, were trying to control me. But after breathing, relaxing, and focusing on what I wanted to see, I understood who I was."
"Did that make you feel better?"
Jin grabbed his mother's hand. "It made me feel worse because my past self, the body I'm in right now, could have saved you. So, I drowned myself in possibilities, but when I was on the verge of a mental breakdown, Brittany snapped me out of it. That's when I came to terms with everything."
Jessa gripped Jin's hand even harder than she already was.
"I'm sorry to hear that." Her voice cracked.
"Meh, it's fine. All in the past now."
"D-Do you think you could bring your father back?"
Jin thought about that. He desperately wanted to, but that would be harder than it seems. His soul had passed on, already reincarnated, so he would have to wait until it returns to the reincarnation cycle. And even then, that was illegal according to divine law.
Though he had friends like Zion and Kai to bypass those laws. Kai always broke the rules and didn't receive any punishment. After all, who's going to punish the son of the man who created everything in existence?
"Do you want that?" Jin asked
"I...I don't know. I won't lie and say that I don't miss him. And I really want him to see how much you've grown. Oh, I also want to tell him how much of a good job you've done growing up. Haha, I remember when I woke up, and you were killing everyone in the building. I gotta tell him about that too, but I passed out and barely remember that."
She just kept on going on and on and on about how she wanted to see the Jinsen again, and Jin smiled.
'What's the point of being powerful and having two of the strongest beings in the universe as best friends if you can't have your happy ending?' Jin thought to himself. So, he sent a message to them and asked them for a favor.
It would take some time, but that would be worth it.
As the two of them continued to chat, Jin noticed that the sun looked as if it were falling, but that didn't make any sense. So when he looked closer, he saw a massive energy ball falling onto the planet and quickly took off.
"Jin!"
"Stay there!"
He grabbed the ball of energy, shot it back into the sky, then flew into space to see what was going on.
"You've been a very bad boy, Jin." A female voice rang through the emptiness that was space.
It wasn't the primordials he was waiting for, but a plethora of gods who surrounded the planet.
"The death squad? What are you all doing here? Especially with all of your members."
"You didn't know? You've been blacklisted. Lord Carlugly and Lady Carlydious have blacklisted you ever since you left their grasp. There's a meeting where every primordial has been summoned, but they are leaving early just to find you."
Jin frowned. "Do you feel good? Are you happy? Does this turn you on?"
"W-What? What the hell are you saying?!"
"I see that look in your eyes. The look of a predator who loves to play with their prey. A cat messing with a mouse. But do you know who you're dealing with?"
"Jin, look around you. I have some of the best Titans and Gods the universe has to offer at my disposal. You're not even a Demigod. How do you expect to beat us?"
"Were you asking that question when I killed half of your squad all those years ago?"
"Haha! Right. I forgot you're very cocky. Kill him."
From all angles, Jin was swarmed by divine energy, all with enough power to destroy a planet. So, Jin moved locations.
Using the Law of Space, he shifted the space around everyone and took them to a solar system he was too familiar with, the one that was destroyed by the Láspi, so he could avoid causing any more damage to his home.
Everyone was slightly taken aback, but they didn't stop their assault, and Jin welcomed their determination.
He took out his scythe, dark energy oozing from its blade, striking fear into those who were closest to him, and before their eyes could even register what had happened, their bodies were chopped into multiple pieces.
"Did you suddenly forget that I was called the God Killer at one point?"
The woman clenched her fists tightly, remembering what happened to her squad the last time. Ever since that day, she vowed to get revenge, and yet Jin killed her new squad with ease, even after millions of years of prepping.
"For killing a divine agent, you will be sentenced—"
"Ohh, don't give me that shit," Jin smirked, his true emotions revealing themselves.
"You're doing this for the love of the game! And guess what...SO AM I!"
The massacre that happened next was one for the history books.
