The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 245: Who is the villain.
She didn't just pour fuel but drove a whole tanker of concentrated gas and crashed it into the flames by specifying the age. If Billi denied, she would add proof as well.
"You seem to be on a mission to torture your sister mentally. Is it fun?" the system asked her.
Alix could not deny that she was enjoying it even if she tried. It was her goal after all, to torture Billi as much as she tortured her. A specific memory from her past was evoked when the system asked her that question.
"Do you know that when I was kicked out of my bedroom so that Jing Hee could turn it into Billi's music room I was left without a bed?
I was told to share a bedroom with that fat housekeeper but she would not allow me to sleep on the bed. They wouldn't even give me a blanket so I had to wrap myself up in bits of clothing for warmth.
At night, I would slide under the housekeeper's bed in search for some warmth but given her size, I would be so scared to close my eyes. I was always worried that she might turn the wrong way and the bed would collapse and I would be squashed to death.
So, I was afraid to close my eyes. Every little squeak would send my heart racing. And then there were the bugs...." she broke off and sighed at the memories.
"Anyway, I want Billi to be as restless as I was back then. She should not be able to sleep peacefully. Every squeak in the night should force her to open her eyes in paranoia. Only then will my soul be at peace."
She shook her head as if it would magically eliminate the miserable memories that were stuck in her mind. It had been a long but good day, there was no use thinking about bad things.
Her phone vibrated and she received a call from Caishen. Even before answering, she smiled so brightly that anybody who knew her could tell who the caller was.
"Hubby." she said happily when she answered. "Are you calling to congratulate me on my orchid sales?"
On the other end of the phone call, Caishen laughed a little because she sounded so bubbly and happy. He was now very familiar with her good news voice.
"Congratulations. Should I buy you a nice congratulatory gift and give it to you tomorrow?"
Alix swung her body slowly from side to side. "Noooo," she replied softly and she giggled. "Oh, why tomorrow?" She stopped moving her body as she wondered why not that very night itself.

"I won't be able to come home tonight. I am going to sleep at the old mansion, something happened so I came over in a hurry." he told her.
"What happened?" she asked, partly curious and mostly worried.
Alix did not want to be drawn into the Zhang family drama. She had experienced enough family drama to last her a lifetime. However, she would step in when need be to protect the ones she cared about.
"It's father," Caishen said. "He showed up to the old mansion with Na Na in tow. I don't know what happened but it's a bit chaotic over here. I will have to call you later or probably see you you tomorrow to discuss it. Will you be okay sleeping at home alone?"
He sounded exhausted and Alix couldn't help feeling pity for him. These complicated matters in her opinion should be settled between the adults. Why were the children involved? Whatever decision Zhang Xian took at the end of the day, someone was going to be hurt.
"That sounds like a lot." She said softly. "Are you okay. You sound like you need a break already. Just take care of yourself and don't worry about me, I will spend the night at my parents house."
The words somehow slipped so naturally out of Alix's mouth that she surprised not only herself but her aunties that were not far behind.
The two women shared a look of wonder and pointed to each other, asking themselves if they were the parents being mentioned.
The moment Alix wished Caishen a goodnight, they pounced on her.
"Pretty baby....are you...." Auntie Mo said with a bit of hope but also wariness as she didn't want to be to eager and end up disappointed.
Alix nodded and the two aunties squealed.
"I am calling mother right now." aunt He said loudly.
Aunt Mo immediately started dragging Alix to the car. She would not take any chances and have her change her mind.
Jenny was left in a state of confusion and she simply waved unsure if there was nothing left for her to do at all.

The Zhang family main home had seen some peaceful days however, the days of peace seemed to be far behind them lately. This night was bound to be one of the less peaceful ones.
Subsequently, after his conversation with Caishen, Zhang Xian made his mind up to move in with his parents. He planned to split his time, four days with them and three with Na Na however Na Na insisted on following him as she had something to say to the elders.
As soon as she saw them, she fell to her knees and started sobbing loudly. It had been a while but she had yet to calm herself.
Because it was Zhang Xian's first day home after so many years, with the exception of Wang Yong, all of his children had come over, including Xiaobo his grandson. They were supposed to have dinner then everyone would leave but dinner was slowly becoming cold on the table because it was untouched. Who could possibly eat when Na Na was weeping like a widow?
Every second that ticked by, someone grew impatient or desired to leave, Zhang Bo had looked at the clock more than a few times and so had Zhang An. It seemed as if they would rather be anywhere than there.
Caishen was only sticking around to see what she was up to. He was even surprised that Wang Yong had not followed his mother to the old mansion. This was hid kind of scene.
Grandma Zhang had long grown weary of all the crying and she wanted this unpleasant business over and done with. Finally, she decided to speak up.
"Na Na, why don't you return tomorrow....."
Na Na shook her head and looked up. Her swollen red eyes pierced the two elders as she looked at them with grievances in her eyes.
"Parents-in-law, why are you treating me like this?" she asked them, in a small voice.
"What do you mean?" grandma Zhang asked her.
Na Na looked at Zhang Xian and pointed to him with her hand. "Is it a crime for me to have married your son and taken care of him for over twenty five years? Why am I being treated as if I am a villain or a sinner?"
