The X Guide-Chapter 29: The Other Side of Forbidden Zone (3)
Was it too painful?
Ayen slowed down, thinking it was too much. He did not know that Devion was truly losing his mind, but was not letting any illicit sounds escape.
This was like torture; Devion was already plotting for Khal’s demise to calm down, especially after being laughed at like that.
Although Ayen knew that guiding would bring inexplicable sensations to espers, after all, he was not an esper, and he could not possibly be aware of what actual sensations those were.
And he was also someone who had never guided anyone before, so this was his first time seeing an esper’s reactions with his guiding.
Of course, it would not be long before he found out about it.
A few minutes later, Devion’s guiding session ended. With how sweaty he was, his hair was even wet as though he had just left the shower.
His breathing was also unstable; he occasionally gasped for breath.
"Is it painful?" Ayen curiously asked; he had no way of knowing how his guiding was, only through feedback.
Devion recovered slightly and looked up. The corners of his eyes were even red, and also his lips, which were bitten thoroughly. He looked more exhausted than when he returned from fighting monsters.
"No." He quickly shook his head.
Ayen looked unconvinced.
He took a deep breath, glanced at Khal as if to say, and convinced him. Between them, Devion thought Khal was more trustworthy, even if his face was not.
Khal, who was now next to be subjected to the same blissful torture, calmly entered the conversation when called.
"Devion’s right. If anything, it’s the opposite."
"Then, why?" Ayen wanted to know so he would not be distracted and also to improve.
Khal and Devion exchanged glances and soon nodded after a sigh. They chose to be honest about it; sooner or later, Ayen would have to guess it on his own.
"It’s pleasurable, a different kind from what sex could give... but probably even better. Ayen, uh, it’s... heaven."
It was hard to describe, and Khal’s words were already decent; if it were Devion, his words would be more vulgar than this.
Ayen remained silent; his thoughts were unknown to the two. They thought he was uncomfortable, which was understandable.
However, Ayen already had that sense of enlightenment. Oh, so that was the reason there were grunting noises last time. He had not seen their faces before because his eyes were closed. Now, he could witness their expression.
Devion was not in pain... He was suppressing the pleasure he was feeling.
"Oh." Ayen only let out a word, almost a sound even. He looked at the two who met his eyes.
He did not say a word, but he also did not look angry or repulsed at the idea either.
"Next time, you can express them freely." Suddenly, Ayen spoke. Under their confusion and almost surprised expressions, he continued. "I won’t judge."
This was an honest thought, but for some reason, no matter how thick-skinned the two were... They could not possibly moan in front of Ayen like someone in heat, right?
Or not?
Khal covered his mouth, and the heat rose within him in response to Ayen’s guiding energy enveloping his wavelength. When he said it was like heaven, he did not lie. That was not even the right word, but Khal could not think of any at that moment.
This was more the pleasure from the body itself, but directly through the soul. The feeling was beyond words; it was true pleasure.
To think, this was merely a hand-holding, guiding session. Khal did not even want to think about the idea of something more. Or he might lose his mind before that happened.
Unlike Khal, Devion was not laughing at him. At least, he knew the feeling, as he was once there. Still, he sneered and mocked Khal through his eyes.
Now that Ayen knew the reason for Khal’s state, he could not help but watch him intently. To the way Khal’s eyes lingered on Ayen before averting them, to the flush in his cheeks, everything.
The chill that surrounded them because of Khal’s state did not even manage to lower the heat that arose from out of nowhere.
Khal was like this because of him, and so was Devion.
Ayen’s pupils darkened at the thought. However, there were no additional thoughts after that, and he focused on guiding Khal. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
This time, the amount and time were longer by a minute, and so Ayen already sensed the backlash incoming within him. This was no surprise at all, as he vaguely knew this would be the case each time.
The mana toxins inside Khal and Devion were so considerable that even two guiding sessions were not enough. It could also not be helped that this was a critical season, and the two would need to use their abilities, thereby adding to the already accumulated ones.
Fortunately, the added mana toxins for continued use were incomparable to the amount Ayen had already cleansed from the two, and so instead of worsening, they were becoming even better.
The two needed to recover a bit, and so did Ayen.
They were all inexperienced in the idea of a guiding session and also its effects, and so they did not know how strange they would appear to others.
Everything about them was strange from the start. They had no way of knowing that yet.
"Are you craving something?" Devion asked, ready to cook if there was any.
"I don’t." Ayen felt sleepier than usual. It seemed the backlash this time was drowsiness. His eyelids were too heavy, and Ayen could not open his eyes.
He was always appearing lazy, but he had never felt this kind of sleepiness before.
"Ayen?" Devion called.
Ayen’s head already dropped, and someone caught them in time before he fell on the ground.
"He’s asleep," Khal’s voice said this time. "Get the jar," he said.
Jar?
Ayen was too sleepy to comprehend anything, but his consciousness was slightly awake; he had yet to completely fall asleep. There was no sound for a second.
"Here." Devion arrived already with the tools, it seemed.
Well, he was fast.
Ayen felt his body being picked up and then laid down.
Soon, there was a new sound.
Water?
Ayen thought he heard the sounds of water droplets. But he was too sleepy to listen for more, and he soon fell asleep.
Ayen did not wake up until two days later.
