The world has turned into Hell's Game, why should I stay human?!-Chapter 1285 - 791: Bai Tianshi’s Whereabouts
Liu Zheng tried using "Anger" but couldn’t cut through the metal handcuffs on Luo Ping’s wrist.
Fortunately, Hu Tutu found a laser cutter in the lab and used it to slice through the handcuffs.
"You know how to operate this?"
Liu Zheng asked in surprise.
"It’s normal; many doctors don’t like doing hard labor, let alone learning to use machinery. That’s when people like us come in handy. Medical consultations are alright, but those pharmaceutical reps would love help with everything, even pulling trousers down for a bathroom break."
Hu Tutu said calmly.
"No industry is easy to work in."
He sighed.
"Compared to your line of work, mine’s still pretty easy."
Hu Tutu couldn’t help but quip.
At least she didn’t have to single-handedly storm the hospital to rescue someone. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
"This for me, uh, should count as a personal hobby."
Liu Zheng scratched his head and said.
"Your hobby is really quite special. Alright, let’s go."
Hu Tutu urged.
Once Luo Ping found his clothes and got dressed, the three of them went downstairs together.
Hu Tutu and Liu Zheng went out first, while Luo Ping waited at the elevator entrance.
"Little Hu, how did it go with Doctor Yang?"
Nurse Ma asked warmly.
Hu Tutu shook her head and gave a little bitter smile.
"It’s kind of tricky; let’s take it slow."
Nurse Ma understood and offered words of comfort.
"That’s all we can do. Sister Ma, let’s grab a meal together sometime."
Hu Tutu politely suggested and left the pathology department with Liu Zheng.
After waiting at the entrance for a while, Luo Ping also came out.
"Why not head back to the car first? This gentleman doesn’t look too good; he needs further treatment."
Hu Tutu suggested.
After being pierced with so many holes and having much of his Vitality absorbed by Paradise Grass seeds, Luo Ping was visibly unsteady while walking.
"Alright."
Liu Zheng nodded.
After all, the car was nearby, and a few minutes wouldn’t matter.
Back in the van, Hu Tutu took out a flat metal case from the fridge.
Opening the case, it contained ten neatly arranged syringes, each filled with a different colored liquid.
"You really stocked up! What are these for?"
Liu Zheng asked curiously.
"Sorry, this is a company secret."
Hu Tutu replied firmly but politely.
"Tsk~ Sorry, this is a company secret~"
He made a face.
"Is he always like this?"
Hu Tutu asked Luo Ping, expressionless.
"No idea. I’ve only met him three times, including this one."
Luo Ping shrugged.
"You’ve met him three times, and he’d dare to rescue you from the hospital? Are you two...?"
Hu Tutu’s eyes gleamed with gossip-fueled excitement.
"By the way, aren’t you going to change? Doesn’t it feel sticky and uncomfortable?"
Liu Zheng asked with concern.
"Mr. Liu, has anyone ever told you you’re annoying?"
Hu Tutu glared at him.
"Nope, everyone says I’m quite likable. If you find me annoying, you might want to look into your own issues."
Liu Zheng said earnestly.
"Hmph!"
Hu Tutu ignored him, took a syringe from the case, and injected it into Luo Ping’s arm.
As the purple liquid entered his body, Luo Ping’s complexion visibly improved.
"This injection will greatly increase your bloodlust, and you must not indulge it; otherwise, you’ll become a vampire without the Vampire Bloodline."
Hu Tutu warned.
"I understand, thank you."
Luo Ping nodded.
"No problem, I’ll just send him to the sewer later; except for the Underwater River’s water, he’d drink nothing else."
Liu Zheng waved his hand dismissively.
"It’s actually not necessary, Mr. Liu; the Medical Bee will help me with this issue."
Luo Ping twitched his mouth.
Would you even call what’s in the Underwater River water? To call it urine would be an insult to urine.
Fun fact, urine is actually much cleaner than natural water; it mainly consists of water, urea, uric acid, electrolytes, etc. In normal conditions, fresh urine contains no live bacteria or pathogens.
"Oh."
Liu Zheng responded blandly.
"Let’s go down first and let her change clothes."
He said as he opened the car door.
Hu Tutu watched his profile, her face as calmly frightening as before.
"He changes faces so fast."
She muttered quietly and then closed the curtain.
Very quickly, Hu Tutu changed clothes, and she removed any scent on her body with a deodorizer.
"Let’s go to that under-construction building he mentioned. Mule, you direct us."
Once in the car, Liu Zheng ordered.
"Alright."
Following Luo Ping’s guidance, Hu Tutu drove them to a half-finished building.
"Looks like it’s been halted for a long time."
Liu Zheng observed the building for a while and said.
Usually, even a strictly managed construction site will be strewn with materials, machinery, and trash.
But this building looked completely clean, with no traces of work as if it had been finished and thoroughly cleaned.
"Strange, shouldn’t have a hospital struggled to settle payment?"
He mused, stroking his chin.
"Of course not. That’s exactly why I find it suspicious."
Luo Ping said.
"Have you used your abilities to look at it yet?"
Liu Zheng asked.
"I have; no one has gone in or out of that building. But I did hear a strange noise."
Luo Ping said.
"A strange noise?"
"Yes, a noise. It’s hard to describe or mimic, but it’s definitely not from any normal creature. And ever since I heard it, I’ve had bad luck."
