“THEY'RE TRUE!” Ayana asked angrily.
“They might be secure from outside access, but not when accessing it via the phone that the app is installed on and the messages were sent from,” Adam replied.
“EXPLAIN, WHY DIDN’T I KNOW ABOUT THIS?” Ayana asked in an authoritarian voice.
“Plausible deniability, my love, plausible deniability,” Kareem replied hurriedly.
“Plausible deniability?” Ayana repeated with a frown.
“If our plot were discovered, then you would be able to deny all knowledge, meaning that both you and the Keita family as a whole would be safe,” Kareem explained.
“You were willing to use Robert Flemming and kill Emma Hopkins just so you could become my legal husband?” Ayana asked in exasperation.
“I certainly hope that’s not the reason, as it would be very boring if it were,” Adam remarked.
Ayana sighed before saying, “You know very well that in order for the rest of the family to recognise me divorcing Yusef and marrying you, you must make a contribution to the family that is far greater than anything Yusef and his connections can make.
And with Yusef being a member of the Hafeez family, that is highly unlikely and even all of Emma Hopkins' assets can not match the Hafeez family.”

“I’m aware of that and Emma Hopkins was only the first stage in my grand plan,” Kareem replied with a sigh before adding, “Nada only knew about the first stage and knew nothing of the rest.”
“What grand plan and why didn’t you tell her everything?” Ayana asked.
“The less she knew, the safer she would be, or at least that’s what I thought,” Kareem replied with another sigh before saying, “My grand plan was to have Nada seize control of the Flemming family, which our Keita family would then take over, thus making us more powerful than the remaining three families.”
“What!” Ayana exclaimed in surprise.
“How audacious,” Adam remarked.

“Pray tell, what this grand, audacious plan of yours to acquire the Flemming family was,” Adam remarked.
“Why should I tell a nobody orphan like you?” Kareem replied angrily.
“Do I need to remind you that your daughter is still here with me?” Adam asked just before the microcam turned towards Nada, who was still unconscious on the floor.
“Bastard,” Kareem growled before huffing and saying, “Fine.
Nada was under the impression that after they dealt with Emma Hopkins and Robert Flemming acquired all her assets, Nada would abandon Robert by doing to him what he did to Emma.”
“You mean arrange an accident for him?” Adam interrupted to ask.
“After the two got married under their fake identities, yes,” Karrem replied before continuing, “She would then offer all of Emma Hopkins' assets to the Keita family under her fake identity before resuming her true identity.
However, I planned to speak to her after Emma Hopkins was dealt with and before she and Robert could marry under their fake identities. It was at that time that I also planned to inform you, Ayana, of my grand plan.”
“And that grand plan was?” Ayana asked.
“For Nada to become a triple agent,” Kareem replied.

“Then make it quick,” Ayana replied.
“Yes, yes,” Kareen nodded before explaining, “The plan was for you and Nada to fake having a major falling out over something huge that would also make Nada want to get revenge on you for it.
She would then go crying to Robert and use his affections towards her in order for him to suggest that she approach Isabella Flemming about joining the Flemming family with his backing and by offering them all of Emma Hopkins' assets.
She would then, with your help, feed the Flemming family information that would damage us in small ways in order to build their trust and build Robert's standing in the family.
Eventually, with her help, Robert would become the new family head and then Nada would use the influence and control she had built over Robert to help the Keita family seize control of the Flemming family.”

“Maybe you should have focused on building your relationship with your husband rather than this piece on the side,” Adam stated with a smirk.
