The witch thought I am a Demon God-Chapter 539 - 314 Dragon Palace Magic contains special spirit energy beings and Death Plateau_2
While Duva Gureggrevsky was admiring the Thunder Sword, the Hearthstone Witch suddenly had an idea, instructing Ivita to collect some ’special product’ from the Death Highlands (Gavar Heights) - the Rust Hermit Crabs, and place it into her Dragon Palace Magic.
The Hearthstone Witch said to Ivita: "Your Majesty, these spirit energy beings have a unique feature, they can enhance the power of water magic. Hence, they are a favorite capture for many witches who excel in water magic. However, due to the international system led by The Church in the past two hundred years, we have experienced temporary peace, it has become harder for witches to find these negative spirit energy beings."
Ivita quickly thought that if these creatures bred at a good speed, he could open a shop selling Rust Hermit Crabs.
He used two hundred Hands of Magic to turn over the soil where a rusty broken sword was stuck, but purposefully didn’t touch the rusty sword remains, keeping the environment filled with negative spiritual energy intact.
All for the sake of sustainable development.
As the soil was turned over, the hermit crabs attached to the chunk of soil where the iron sword was stuck, suddenly encountering sunlight, become scared and started digging holes in the dirt to escape.
Ivita snapped his fingers, Wilson took off the water pouch hanging from his waist and after opening it, poured all the water contained onto the eight hermit crabs, and Ivita chanted a spell.
The water poured from the pouch didn’t even fall yet when it formed a vortex, then instantly encasing the eight crabs within it, completely sucked the crabs.
Ivita pondered for a moment, then also used the water vortex to suck the sword stuck in the ground along with a large round chunk of soil above it into his own Dragon Palace Magic.
Once the Rust Hermit Crabs entered his water magic, Ivita immediately felt a response from his water magic. He found that his Dragon Palace Magic seemed more stable, and it seemed to be moving towards building an ecosystem, after these creatures joined.
He focused his attention and found that after the Rust Hermit Crabs entered the water in his washbasin, they automatically swam to the location of the floating iron sword and the chunk of soil, climbed up, and appeared to quickly adapt and liked living in the Dragon Palace Magic.
The highly spiritual area within the Dragon Palace Magic was the most suitable place for them to survive and live.
After Mr. Duva returned the Thunder Sword to Ivita, he said to Ivita: "Please, Sir, don’t use this sword in the northern Ross region, the royal family of Tevryl will notice you."
"I have heard that this sword can kill any enemy. Holding it in my hand just now, feeling the terrible power contained within, I believe it’s true."
"Ivan III once used this sword to kill almost all of his enemies, crushing dozens of Ross princes who ruled over the lawless Ross plain. But, ten years ago, during the succession of Empress Ekaterina’s predecessor-- Elizabeth II, there were several major upheavals, leading to the scattering of some of Tevryl’s famous swords around the world."
Duva said to Ivita: "By the way, Mr. Ivita, there’s one more thing, the Valji Family businesses you took over can basically only be given up, you may not keep much. Because the Valji Family’s businesses are all in the gray area, these businesses are small-scale and have poor management. Business units like shops, the assets of these businesses aren’t really worth much."
"People are the ones that are valuable."
"People do business based on recognizing faces in the gray areas, and these transactions, most of the people who manage these businesses are from the Valji Family, including oceanic extraordinary materials trade and slave trade."
"Therefore, the best way to handle these shops is to sell them, I estimate they can be sold for about ninety thousand pounds."
Ivita nodded, "I had a hunch, I expected it to be like this."
"How many troops and fleets did I gain along with the Territory now?"
Mr. Duva said: "There is a ready-made army of about a thousand people in the territory, most of whom are ordinary people, a minority are professionals, there are about fifty first-grade professionals, no second-grade ones, even if there were, all died in the previous attack by the minions of the Black Death, and the rest all fled."
"This army was the Valji’s direct army on land, because they were wiped out by the Black Death minions at sea, so this army didn’t have time to be used against you, and they directly became your army, but you need to spend five thousand pounds every year to maintain this mob-like force."
Ivita gave him a surprised look. "That cheap? I thought it would at least cost seven thousand pounds."
"Previously, recruiting two hundred guards cost me thousands of pounds."
Mr. Duva started to wryly smile. "That is why they are of low quality, the ones you previously recruited were all elite troops."
"But the Valji Family clearly values sea power more."
"Pity that you’ve destroyed their fleet."
"Only thirteen single-masted small sailboats are left. You now only have one three-masted ship and ten two-masted ships, but the components on your ships, whether it be the sails or the deck or the cannons on top, are all cursed components, so it’s still a rather powerful fleet."
Ivita smiled. "But it couldn’t be helped. If I didn’t destroy their fleet, their most potent weapon, those guys wouldn’t have had their pride deflated."
Mr. Duva said: "This might have been a good thing. The pirate world is at war with the Business Republic of Belisarius. If our fleet was too powerful, it would have attracted attention, and they would have driven us out to fight." 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
"But even so, you may have caught the attention of some schemers, these people are figuring out how to sabotage you."
Ivita nodded and said, "My top priority right now is to consolidate the territories I just acquired. Honestly, although I’ve acquired money, people, and land, it’s normal for some to get restless as these have come to me all of a sudden."
As they spoke, a gargoyle-like creature, more terrifying than any gargoyle, flew over their heads, tearing a grotesque scar into the serene blue sky.
Ivita recognized it, it was a Differential Demon.
Everyone who looked up and saw the Differential Demon felt their hearts leap with fear, their heart rates quickened, their bodies reacting with an extreme sense of discomfort.
The appearance of a Differential Demon over Cross Island, albeit just one, was a testament to the ferocity of the Business Republic of Belisarius’s offensive. It was a sign they were determined to eradicate the scourge of piracy that plagued their seaborne trades.
The Iron Mountain Knight said: "My Lord, what if the Differential Demon comes to our territory? We can’t kill that thing."
Ivita said: "Trust those big pirates, this matter doesn’t concern us."
"Let those taller guys deal with it."
"Don’t worry, I owe the Republic of Belisarius a lot of money, with that connection, they won’t trouble a debtor like me."
Ivita continued: "Our territory is now approximately 895 square kilometers. A standard Viscount’s territory is 400 square kilometers, a standard Baron’s territory is 35 square kilometers, the independent Maple Town is 10 square kilometers, the independent Knight’s Territory totals 8 square kilometers, and the independent Baron’s Territory totals 175 square kilometers."
"So, on Cross Island, I have a total of 1,409 square kilometers of territory."
The Hearthstone Witch blinked in surprise. She had been with Ivita from the start. Initially, Ivita struggled to acquire a forty-square-kilometer estate in Ambros, but now it had grown a hundred times larger.
Indeed, fortune is found in danger.
Toppling the Valji Family to inherit their territory!
Ivita mused, "A standard Earl’s estate requires four thousand square kilometers of territory. For me to advance as a third-level wizard, and to become a Guardian of an Earl’s estate is troublesome. No wonder most wizards become Guardians instead of becoming a direct Lord of an Earl’s estate."
"I must come up with a plan to expand our territory, it would be better to become an Earl."
Ivita fell into deep thought. The best direction for expansion would be the neighbors around him.
Of course, he could also buy wasteland and force the creation of another Earl’s estate.
Ivita told everyone, "I intend to proceed with the promised enfeoffment of territory. I hope Old Baron Anto’s re-enfeoffment work goes well."
The eyes of the Iron Mountain Knight filled with extreme enthusiasm.
