The Villain's Story-Chapter 872: Everything?
"Hold on, everything? What the hell? Is this a confession?"
Alan blurted out, confused at Valus's words. The Supreme being let out an annoyed sigh and explained.
"Your soul was first constructed to be a puppet soul, but your unique skill changed things. Everything. Before you even began to gain consciousness, your entire being was planned out."
Valus took a deep breath before stating.
"Alan Peccator, you are a Dragon, you are a God beast, and a Void spawn, A demon, and a Celestial. You are the perfect mix, a hybrid of the five strongest species that exist in this universe. You are the first and the last, a Hybrid of the great Five."
He was going to continue until Alan interrupted him.
"Wait, wait, wait, Five? What do you mean by five? I thought there couldn't be a mix of the God Beasts and Dragons, and what the hell is a Void Spawn?"
Valus ignored the question, and continued.
"Exactly, you're the first and the only. There exist three prime species in this universe: Dragons, God Beasts, and Void spawn. You are a perfect mix of the three. Thirty Percent of each, the rest ten percent is divided evenly among Celestial and Demonic Genes."
He didn't respond, taking it all in. Alan didn't know what to think for a moment. First of all, he didn't understand how it was all possible. It was in his memories, it was in the Library. A Dragon and a God beast couldn't be mixed. It was supposed to be impossible. And what the hell was a Void Spawn? What was the third figure he saw in the painting?
He didn't know what to do, question it? He had lived his entire life believing he was a dragon, but he was everything else?
"Did you never even stop to think why you're such a physical monster? Of course, Dragons are better than most species in terms of their body, but never to such a degree. Your skin, without transformation, is like the toughest steel; you have enough muscular strength to not rely on any form of enhancement to battle an equal foe.
Your physical strength is monstrous, just like a god-beast. Did it never occur to you that you could even use Aura? Mana and Aura can never exist together, but they do in you. Did you think it was your bloodline that caused it?
No, you were made that way. You were made to be able to store and use both of those energies. Your bloodline merely sped up the process of you manifesting an aura.
You were designed to have the gifts of a God Beast, you were designed to have the gifts of a dragon, and the gifts of a Void Spawn."
Valus took a deep breath and tasted the concoction he was making in the pot. A single drop floated above and entered his mouth, calming the pain in his body. Aranus had battered him.
Still, he ignored most of it and focused on Alan. The boy was obviously confused, although Valus didn't focus on it.
He was more expressive, using his hands to show his confusion, clutching his face, and the like. His tone of voice was also growing more alive. Valus smiled and requested.
"Alan, take a look at your left arm."
Alan did as he said, albeit a bit confused about it. He looked at his left arm and almost didn't notice anything different until his right hand entered his vision.
"...?"
A confused gasp escaped his lips as Alan finally noticed the abnormality. His tattoo was gone, the one that had appeared shortly after he received the Bloodline of the Pheonix, the coiling white serpent that he hated looking at.
"What? Where?"
He pinched his skin, but it was really gone. The mark he hated because it reminded him of James was gone, but where? How?
"The mark of the Serpent was a seal placed on you, limiting your potential; it blocked your brain functions and made you move more like a machine. It was a way for James to exert his influence on you. I ripped it out of you while you were unconscious.
Tell me, what are the effects."
Alan paused for a moment, taking a deep breath. He was still looking at his arm, only this time, the pristine skin and the toned muscles weren't hidden behind the mark of the Jade Serpent.
It felt amazing, like he was back in Lanekia. His mind felt clear, his range of vision increased, it was as if years of back pain simply vanished. Every breath felt refreshing.
But that was not all of it. Alan's breathing began to increase, His chest heaved up and down as his body thoroughly enjoyed the mana rich environment. He collapsed into the ground, as insides began to evolve.
"The seal didn't just limit your mind, it placed a limit on everything. The thing that was stopping your evolution is disappearing, and now, everything is coming all at once.
Dragon, God Beast, Void spawn, and the Celestial and Demonic part of you as well. All of them were in a dormant state, suppressed by the seal, not any longer though."
Alan began to hyperventilate, and Valus walked over to him, offering a bit of advice.
"Don't resist it, let it happen. The bastard planned for it all, let the changes occur in peace, place your trust in your Unique Skill... and that man."
Valus bent down, trying to assure Alan that all would be alright, however, the boy was in a terrible state. His body was literally cracking like glass.
From his face to his legs, cracks appeared as Alan's breathing accelerated once more. It was just like the Black Sea, merely the opposite. Instead of Sensory Deprivation, it was an overload.
His body was beginning to break down, and his regeneration was activated. Trying to stop it, trying to rebuild it down.
But whenever it did, the process simply started again. It was a deadlock.
