The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 33: Asher Harrison
Abigail cursed her husband under her breath, still glaring at the dust left behind by the car that raced off to the road. She took a deep breath and squatted on the ground, pouting.
"I wanted to treat him as a husband, but he’s making it incredibly difficult for me. Ah, I wish to turn back time and stop myself from signing that form," Abigail mumbled under her breath, feeling incredibly depressed at the moment.
A sigh escaped her lips.
Who told her to like Nicholas’s character so much? He was the only person she regretted killing so soon. Is this why he’s treating her like a potato sac right now?
She deserved it.
Abigail let out another depressed sigh, squatting there for God knows how long. In the end, even her legs started to hurt because of the squatting. So she got up unsteadily. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Her eyes widened as she felt like she was about to fall. Damn it, her legs felt too weak because of all the squatting she did!
If only there was another eye candy here to support her! Where were all the K-drama male protagonists who caught the women from falling, ah?!
She shut her eyes, fearing to face the pain of falling. But that pain never arrived. Instead, she felt a warm hand hooking around her waist, preventing her from falling to the ground.
A warm breath tickled her ears, making her tremble slightly as an intoxicating voice whispered into her ears, "Careful."
Abigail blinked as her body froze.
Ah, such a heavenly, sultry voice!
She didn’t even know how to describe it! Is this another eye candy?
Wait, there was only one remaining eye candy in her novel. Could it be that person...?
As Abigail was thinking, the man behind her spoke up once again, making her spine shiver: "You’re not going to stand? It can’t be you like to be in my embrace?"
"Oh..." Abigail quickly and hurriedly got out of the man’s embrace, finally turning around to look at the man’s face.
Blond.
Black, abyss-like eyes.
Tall.
Handsome.
Ah... This is Asher Harrison, Nicholas’s cousin!
Abigail’s heart thumped in her chest. My God, she was such an incredible creator! She stared at him for so long that even her cheeks started to blush.
How could she not be happy? Her depressed mood instantly transformed into that of a cheerful one, making her feel warmth in her chest.
There was a reason why she was so happy meeting this kind of character. You see, after killing off Nicholas, she was regretful. So she ended up creating another eye candy that could rival her favorite supporting character.
Of course, she couldn’t create another Nicholas since she didn’t want to be the kind of writer who copies her characters. So she created a character polar opposite to Nicholas, the kind of man she had always wanted to marry. Whatever good qualities needed to be inserted in one person, she stuffed Asher with those, making him a full package.
Whenever she would write him, she would blush and giggle while jotting down his part. You could say that she was his hopeless fan as an author.
That aside, she didn’t think Asher would be so handsome, even more attractive than her imagination! God, what should she do? If she weren’t married to that rude person, she would have instantly dragged this man to the nearest marriage center and gotten a certificate!
Damn it, this was the second time she was regretting being married to Nicholas.
Multiple emotions flashed in Abigail’s eyes as she sighed for the third time.
"Hey," The handsome, blond young man named Asher waved and smiled playfully, "Earth to woman, am I that handsome?"
Abigail coughed and finally averted his eyes, stopping herself from being rude. But goodness, it was so hard to hide her excitement. This was the greatest eye candy she ever created after Nicholas! How can she remain calm?!
So she let go and bluntly nodded. "You are indeed very handsome." After all, she was the one who created him!
"Oh?" The man chuckled and walked closer. "You’re also quite beautiful."
"Am I...?" Abigail covered up her mouth with her curled-up fist and coughed, looking elsewhere.
"Yup. You must be Abigail Harrison, married to my cousin, aren’t you?" He took a step back and said with a mild smile on his lips. "I’m Asher Harrison."
"Eh? How do you know my name?" It can’t be that she became famous in an instant, can it? Was it because of that lobby incident? Or the award event?
"Who wouldn’t know such a beautiful and charming woman who destroys her husband’s lobby?" The man chuckled.
God, even his chuckle was so attractive!
Abigail didn’t know how to act at all! "Well, it was nice meeting you. Thanks for helping me. I’d love to catch up, but I have to go home."
Despite how happy she felt in her heart after meeting him, she knew she should stay away before she got carried away by him. Asher was incredibly handsome to the point of making her heart jump.
Not like she never felt like this with Nicholas, but his rudeness overshadowed that part, making her extremely irritated whenever she faced that man.
But Asher was different.
He was Nicholas’s only cousin who could rival him and even possessed the qualities to snatch the Harrison family business from her husband’s hands. But in her novel, since Asher was a good guy, he didn’t bother with the family corporation. Instead, he created his own company and managed to make it climb to the top, becoming a firm competitor of Harrison Entertainment.
Alas, he also ended up becoming the main villain’s victim by the end of the novel. He died right before Arthur was kidnapped.
Abigail instantly felt guilty in her heart.
Why... Why would she kill off her favorite characters in her novel?! No, she should first find a way to return to her home because the more she thought about Asher and looked at him, the more she felt she should just stand here and stare at the man. She even felt her married life was in danger facing this man!
Before Abigail could turn around and make her escape, the man suddenly said, "Go how? Running after my cousin’s car? Hmm?"
Ah... So he saw everything.
How embarrassing....
Abigail stood silently, thinking of how to reply to that man.
"Alright, how about I give you a lift?" Asher said as he pointed out the car on the side. "I’m heading to meet Aunt Rosa anyway."
At this time, he was wearing casual clothes, meaning he was indeed planning a family meeting.
Abigail hesitated.
Even though she knew she had to avoid this person, she also knew she couldn’t go back without his help. After all, her rude husband left her in the middle of the street. She didn’t even know what area she was currently standing in!
"Mrs. Harrison?" Asher seemed to know her thoughts very well. "Don’t worry, if you’re worried I’ll hit on you, don’t be. I don’t go for married women."
"That’s not it..." Abigail pursed her lips, instantly feeling even more embarrassed. How the heck did he know everything that she was thinking about? She took a deep breath and said, reluctantly, "Alright. Let’s go."
