The Villain Mom Awakens — Going Viral by Parenting on a Reality Show-Chapter 63: Ethan Shaw Moves Back Home
Naomi Kenway and her family returned to the racetrack.
"I didn’t expect you to have such a strong sense of justice." Ethan Shaw glanced at her, his tone surprised.
"It’s not that." She just couldn’t stand seeing a woman compromise and suffer in a broken marriage. It reminded her of her own mother, who, despite holding so much wealth and being invincible in the business world, was ultimately deceived by a scumbag and endured countless humiliations.
"Oh, and thank you for earlier."
"It was nothing."
Ian Shaw seemed extremely impressed with Naomi Kenway. "Mommy is a hero! She chased the big bad guy away!"
Naomi Kenway finally broke into a smile.
They say a child’s every word and action is influenced by their parents. Naomi was relieved that she had managed to set a decent example for her son.
After dealing with the matter, Ms. Jessica Hilton returned to the racetrack.
"There was a small incident just now, but it’s been resolved. Let’s continue with our race."
Ethan Shaw once again lifted his wife and son into his arms.
With a blow of the whistle, all the families took off.
It was the first time Naomi Kenway realized how athletic Ethan Shaw was. If she hadn’t been clinging tightly to his neck, she would have been afraid of being thrown off.
Unsurprisingly, Naomi Kenway’s family took first place.
Many of the parents next to them were panting from exhaustion, but Ethan Shaw’s expression hadn’t changed. Only his breathing had quickened slightly.
"Yay! Mommy, Daddy, we’re number one!" Annie hugged his teddy bear, jumping up and down with joy.
After the parent-child activities ended, the children and parents of Sunshine Kindergarten’s Class 5 gathered for a group photo. The teachers stood in the very center. Naomi Kenway’s family also managed to grab a spot near the center in the front, but because Ethan Shaw was so tall, they moved back a row.
Ethan Shaw held Annie, who was clutching his teddy bear, and wrapped his free arm around Naomi Kenway’s shoulder. The family stood together as one.
Ethan Shaw glanced sideways at Ian Shaw’s smiling face. He had never seen his son so happy. Previously, Ethan had never seen any issue with Ian’s upbringing or the amount of time they spent together. After all, his son’s childhood was a complete replica of his own. Ethan’s life as a boy had been a calm, steady pursuit of achievements, devoid of any drama. He was scheduled for all sorts of lessons and had long since grown accustomed to and accepted that kind of education.
But then one day, Naomi Kenway told him it was all wrong—that children should have time to play.
Ethan Shaw hugged Ian Shaw tightly, a decision seeming to form in his heart.
With a CLICK, the photo was taken, and the parent-child activity day came to a perfect end.

Ethan Shaw’s car pulled into the manor’s garage. Naomi Kenway was about to say goodbye when she noticed he got out of the car right after her.
"You..."
"This is my home. Can’t I come in and sit for a while?"
"Yes, of course." Naomi Kenway had no idea what Ethan Shaw was thinking, but she had no reason to stop him.
After playing all day, Ian Shaw was getting sleepy. Naomi Kenway carried him upstairs, and after she finished reading him a story, he drifted off to sleep, still hugging the teddy bear he had won at kindergarten.
He seemed to be having a sweet dream, the corners of his mouth turned up slightly. Naomi Kenway placed a light kiss on his forehead.
"Good night, Annie."
Remembering her coat was still downstairs, Naomi headed back down. The figure sitting in the living room startled her.
"Ethan Shaw? Why are you still here?"
A considerable commotion came from the doorway. Naomi Kenway looked over and saw servants carrying in a pile of luggage. A suspicion suddenly formed in her mind.
"Ethan Shaw, are you moving back in?"
Her voice was filled with astonishment.
"Put everything on the second floor." After giving the order, Ethan Shaw finally looked up at her. "Annie needs a healthy and complete family environment."
’But it was more than just that.’
He was finding Naomi Kenway’s expression more and more interesting—that mix of excitement and conflict.
’What on earth is she conflicted about? Doesn’t she like me a lot? Shouldn’t she be thrilled that I’m back?’
"Are you... unhappy that I’m back?"
"No." ’I am happy, because our son will have a complete family. The unease is coming from me. I’ve thought about giving our son a complete family, but I’ve never considered how to actually manage this marriage.’
That night, Naomi Kenway suffered a rare bout of insomnia because there was another person beside her. A cool fragrance continuously wafted into her nose, and Naomi couldn’t help but wonder what kind of cologne Ethan Shaw used that smelled so good.
Unable to sleep, she simply opened her eyes. Ethan Shaw was sleeping facing her. His breathing was shallow, his long eyelashes resting on his eyelids, his lips pressed into a thin line.
Naomi’s gaze traced over his face, inch by inch, searching for the features Ethan and Annie shared. She didn’t know if it was because of her son’s looks, but the more Naomi looked at Ethan, the more handsome and pleasant she found him.
"Still not asleep? Am I that good-looking?" The man whose eyes had been closed suddenly opened them, looking at her with a hint of amusement.
Caught so quickly, Naomi Kenway coughed awkwardly a couple of times. "You’re really overthinking it. I just couldn’t sleep and was looking around. I didn’t realize you were so narcissistic, Ethan Shaw."
"I’m narcissistic?"
"I’m not going to argue with you. I’m going to sleep." Naomi Kenway rolled over and closed her eyes.
Ethan Shaw gazed at Naomi Kenway’s slender back, but now he was the one who couldn’t sleep. When he closed his eyes, all he could sense was the sweet fragrance right under his nose.
He closed his eyes in frustration and also turned over.
The alluring scent finally dissipated a little.

Having slept poorly, Ethan Shaw woke up later than usual for the first time. As he opened his eyes, he saw a little soft bundle kissing Naomi Kenway’s cheek, saying in a sweet voice, "A good morning kiss for Mommy."
"Why are you up so early today, Annie?" Naomi Kenway kissed Annie’s little hand in return.
Perhaps because he hadn’t slept well, Ethan Shaw was inexplicably irritated. "Annie, what are you doing?"
When Ian Shaw saw that Ethan Shaw was awake, he pattered over on his little legs and squatted by the bed to look at him. "Daddy, you’re awake?"
Ethan Shaw ruffled his hair, his mood having stabilized. He smiled and greeted him, "Good morning." Then he reached out and picked Annie up. "Let me see if you’ve put on any weight."
Ian Shaw giggled at his teasing.
Naomi Kenway smiled from the side. ’It really was a good thing to have Ethan move back in, after all,’ she thought.

A few leisurely days passed, and soon it was time to film the third episode of *My Super Mom*.
Having already found out in advance that this time the destination had no particular risks or special points to note, Naomi Kenway simply packed a change of clothes and the essential first-aid kit. Snacks weren’t allowed on the show, so Naomi only brought a little something for Annie to nibble on during the journey.
Naomi Kenway had been very satisfied with their matching parent-child outfits from last time, so she had spent a large sum of money to have a foreign master designer custom-make several more sets. The one they were wearing today was a denim set from the collection.
