The Villain Mom Awakens — Going Viral by Parenting on a Reality Show-Chapter 386 - 385: There’s a Problem With Your Mother’s Will
Ethan Shaw said to a nearby staff member, "Prepare the room next to Ian’s."
"Brother, what are you...?"
"Ian said he missed you last time. Stay here and spend some time with him. Besides, I think..." Ethan looked at Jenna. "You need a place where you can truly rest."
"But Mom and Dad..."
"I’ll handle it." Ethan walked over to Naomi and took her hand. "Jenna has been having a hard time lately. When you have some free time, take her out for a bit."
Naomi smiled and nodded. "No problem. I love going shopping with Jenna."
Ian Shaw was dropped off at home by the driver today. He pushed open the door and saw a familiar figure, exclaiming in delight, "Auntie?"
Jenna Shaw was faster than Ian Shaw. She reached out and effortlessly scooped him up. "Up we go!"
Ian giggled with delight.
Jenna affectionately pressed her cheek against Ian’s and asked him, "Did you miss your auntie?"
Ian Shaw nodded. "I did!"
"Really?" Jenna teased.
"Ian never tells lies!"
Jenna Shaw laughed out loud and ruffled Ian’s hair. "So little, yet so clever! And such a sweet talker. It’s a shame Auntie was in a rush and didn’t get a present for our Ian. I’ll make it up to you next time, okay?"
Ian shook his head. "I don’t want one."
"Why not?" Jenna feigned sadness. "Don’t you like Auntie’s presents?" 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
"Auntie coming over to play with me is already the best present. My teacher said in class that kids shouldn’t be too greedy."
Jenna couldn’t help but laugh. She reached out and squished Ian’s cheeks. "How can you be so sweet? Oh, my little darling, my sweet comforter! Ian, you really are such a sweetheart!"
Ian Shaw obediently let Jenna squish his face.
Naomi Kenway watched from the side, a smile gracing her face. She reminded them, "Come on, it’s time for dinner."
Ian was a little reluctant. "I want to play with Auntie a little longer."
Naomi smiled. "Can’t bear to leave your auntie, huh? Don’t worry, she’ll be staying with us for a while. You’ll have plenty of time to spend with her."
"Really?" Ian Shaw asked, overjoyed.
Jenna Shaw put him down and took his hand instead. "Come on, let’s go eat first."
The atmosphere at the dinner table wasn’t awkward because of the extra person; on the contrary, it was warm and cheerful.
Naomi Kenway put a lot of food on Jenna Shaw’s plate. "These dishes are all quite good. You should try them."
Ethan Shaw placed a piece of fish in Jenna Shaw’s bowl. "I remember you like spicy boiled fish."
Jenna Shaw couldn’t stop her eyes from turning red. "Brother, I can’t believe you remembered."
"Of course I remember. You’re my sister." Ethan Shaw comforted her. "I’ll talk to Mom and Dad. You should do whatever you want to do. And that scumbag—I promise he won’t bother you again. My sister is so outstanding, she’ll definitely find the right person for her."
"Okay..." Jenna Shaw lowered her head, the salty taste of her tears mixing with her food.
After dinner, Ethan Shaw carried Ian upstairs, while Naomi Kenway took Jenna Shaw to the room that had been prepared for her.
"It was a bit rushed. I’ll get everything for the room properly sorted out tomorrow."
Jenna Shaw glanced around the warm, bright bedroom. Several stuffed animals were arranged on the headboard, and the bed curtains were in a style she loved.
"Thank you, Naomi. And... my brother suddenly said so many caring things to me today. Thank you for that. I’m really so touched."
Naomi Kenway shook her head. "It doesn’t have much to do with me. Your brother has always cared about you; he’s just gone from caring silently to being more obvious about it."
"After I talked to your brother last time, he didn’t say anything at the moment. But I could feel that he seemed very guilty. He doesn’t want you to doubt yourself or lose your confidence because of him. It’s not that he doesn’t care about you. I think it’s more that, just like you, he doesn’t know how to express his concern."
Jenna Shaw was lost in thought. She gently wiped the corner of her eye, a smile finally gracing her lips.
Naomi smiled, stepped forward, and gave her a gentle hug. "Jenna, I’m so happy to see you back to your cheerful, optimistic self. Remember, no one is worth changing for or doing things you dislike. You’re already so accomplished; you don’t need to cater to anyone’s preferences, because you’re one-of-a-kind. The person who truly loves you will eventually find their way to you, drawn by your very soul."
Jenna Shaw nodded, resting her chin on Naomi Kenway’s shoulder. "Thank you, Naomi."

Suddenly, Naomi Kenway received a call from Leo Lennox. His tone was uncharacteristically anxious and serious.
"Nina, are you free to come over? I have something important to tell you."
Naomi Kenway was currently on set for a shoot, but anything that Leo Lennox considered this important must be serious. After a moment of thought, she said, "Are you at home now? I’ll head over right away."
Naomi Kenway arranged for time off from the film set and then rushed over to Leo Lennox’s house without delay.
Leo Lennox lived in a rather remote area. He had always preferred peace and quiet over noise and crowds, so he had built his villa halfway up a mountain, with few other residents in sight.
Naomi Kenway entered the study. Leo Lennox, wearing a pair of glasses, was looking through something. When he saw Naomi, he waved her over. "Nina, come here, quickly."
Naomi ran over, slightly out of breath. "Uncle Lennox..."
Leo Lennox said, "Have a seat."
He handed her what was in his hand. "Look at this."
Naomi Kenway took the slip of paper. When she saw the words written on it, her eyes widened in disbelief. "’There’s a problem with the will...’ The will it’s talking about... is it?"
Leo Lennox pushed up his glasses. "It’s talking about the will Rose left behind."
Naomi Kenway clutched the slip of paper. "Who wrote this?"
Leo Lennox shook his head. "I don’t know either. This isn’t the first time I’ve received this message. A note like this appears every week or two, in a different place each time. At first, I thought it was just a prank. But then the clues became more and more specific, including a handwriting comparison of the will, and I started to believe it was real. I had people stake out various spots around the house and even installed cameras in every corner, but we’ve never been able to catch a glimpse of the person. Yet the notes keep appearing right on schedule."
Leo Lennox took out his phone. He carefully pulled something up and handed the phone to Naomi Kenway.
"This is the handwriting comparison. I don’t know who sent it to me, but I have a gut feeling it’s the same person who’s leaving the notes. I tried to trace the IP address, but came up with nothing. Whoever it is, they’re very good at covering their tracks. I don’t know what their motive is, but what they’re saying... it has to be true." Leo Lennox’s voice was filled with hatred as he slammed his hand on the table. "It must be Jackson Kensington’s doing. It couldn’t be anyone else!"
