The Villain Mom Awakens — Going Viral by Parenting on a Reality Show-Chapter 226: My Cousin Definitely Wants a Second Child
"Completely naked?"
"He was wearing pants."
"Oh, so he was just showing off his abs..."
Naomi Kenway realized she wasn’t going to get the information she wanted from Luke Lowell and couldn’t be bothered to continue the conversation.
She turned to leave, but heard Luke Lowell call out from behind her:
"Wait, Sis-in-law!"
Naomi Kenway turned back. Luke Lowell paused in thought for a moment before saying seriously, "This situation you’re describing... I’ve honestly never encountered it. My cousin definitely doesn’t have any weird quirks, you can rest assured on that. Not only does he not have any..."
Luke Lowell recalled, "My cousin and I grew up together, and I really never thought the word ’exposure’ would one day be associated with him. He’s the same as when we were kids—always the stoic type, buttoning his shirt to the very top, completely buttoned-up."
Naomi Kenway grew even more confused. "Then maybe it’s a recent change."
"Not at all. As far as I know, my cousin still maintains his cold, overbearing CEO persona in public. He’s not at all as... flashy... ahem, as casual as you describe. I hang out with him often, and he’s perfectly normal. So, I think..." Luke Lowell cupped his chin, looking like a detective on a case.
A teasing glint appeared in his eyes. "Generally speaking, when someone displays their charms like a peacock spreading its tail, isn’t that a mating ritual? Let’s make a reasonable deduction here: my cousin must want a second child! Yes, he definitely wants to have a second child with you, Sis-in-law!"
At first, Naomi Kenway found the idea utterly ridiculous, but then the image of those firm, well-defined abs flashed through her mind, and her face grew hot for no reason.
Luke Lowell’s eyes were like radar. "Ooh, is something going on?"
Naomi Kenway turned away. "Nothing is going on, and there’s no second child. You can just stand here and enjoy the breeze by yourself."
Luke Lowell watched Naomi Kenway’s retreating back, quite certain that her temper had truly improved a lot. And you know, being like this actually made Naomi seem quite approachable.
Naomi Kenway walked toward the private room. When she pushed open the door, she found Clementine Coleman’s eyes glued to her, only to quickly dart away. Clementine then picked up the orange juice on the table and took a sip. After savoring it for a moment, she felt something was off. "What is this?"
"That’s mango juice, Clementine. Why are you drinking my drink? Isn’t your glass on your right?"
"Mango juice?!"
A few minutes later, Clementine Coleman was rushed to the hospital due to a mango allergy.
The dinner party was forced to end early. Soon after, Clementine Coleman’s agent sent a message in the work group chat, saying that Clementine was fine and could resume filming after two days of rest. The agent also thanked the cast and crew for taking care of her.

The crew’s dinner party ended rather late. Ruby Preston was worried about Naomi Kenway and was about to find her so they could go home together when she heard from the hotel’s front desk that Naomi had already been picked up, apparently by her husband.
The assistant director next to her commented, "It seems Ms. Kenway and her husband are very much in love. They have a very harmonious relationship!"
Ruby Preston paused for a moment before nodding. She had often heard rumors in the industry that Naomi Kenway and her husband didn’t get along. Ruby had even assumed that his "accidental appearance" on camera a while back was a publicity stunt. She never expected...
Meanwhile, Naomi Kenway was already in the car. Liam Sherman wasn’t there this time; Ethan Shaw had come to drive himself.
Just as she was about to buckle her seatbelt, another large, well-defined hand beat her to it. There was a faint click as the buckle fastened.
Naomi Kenway said, "Oh, thanks..."
The words had barely left her mouth when she sharply held her breath. Ethan Shaw hadn’t moved away. He remained turned toward her, his handsome face suddenly leaning in until it was barely a centimeter away. His sharp nose grazed her cheek and neck as he inhaled.
Naomi Kenway didn’t dare to move. "What are you doing, Ethan Shaw?"
Ethan Shaw had already pulled back, his voice laced with a hint of pleasure. "I see you didn’t drink carelessly this time."
Naomi Kenway felt a strange sense of embarrassment. "Last time was just an accident."
"But the accident still happened, didn’t it? You were completely wasted. It’s too dangerous, Nina."
His voice wasn’t accusatory; it was actually soft and gentle.
Naomi Kenway was a little stunned and didn’t know how to respond.
"I won’t take away your freedom to drink, but it’s best if I’m with you. You’re too dangerous when you’re drunk..."
A dark, profound look flashed in his eyes.
Seeing him bring it up again, Naomi Kenway apologized sincerely. "I’m sorry. I went against your wishes... I’ll control myself in the future. I won’t get drunk and ambush you again."
"How are you going to compensate me?"
"What?"
Ethan Shaw glanced at her, tilting his head slightly. His beautiful eyes seemed to hold only her. "I’m saying, since you’ve apologized, shouldn’t there be some compensation?"
"What kind of compensation do you want?" Naomi Kenway asked, wondering what she could possibly offer Ethan Shaw.
"I heard you say you’re taking Ian to the amusement park the day after tomorrow. Take me with you."
"That’s it?"
"That’s it."
"Okay," Naomi Kenway agreed immediately. "But since when are you so interested in amusement parks?"
Ethan Shaw lowered his gaze slightly. "...It’s a rare opportunity for a family outing. I think Ian will be very happy. Don’t you agree?"
Naomi Kenway nodded. "That makes sense."

Clementine Coleman stayed in the hospital for a few days. Although the check-up showed no issues and she could have been discharged to go home and apply ointment, her mother insisted that she rest properly, saying she could only go home once her body had fully recovered.
Mrs. Clementine Coleman was in her forties but looked very well-maintained. Sitting by the hospital bed peeling an apple for Clementine, she brought up, as if by chance, "Your father knows quite a few talented young men. He should introduce you to some of them another day."
"I’m not starting a business. What would I need to meet them for?"
"You..." Mrs. Clementine Coleman was exasperated. "You’re already in your twenties. You should date for a few years, then settle down and get married. You’re so naive, I’m genuinely afraid you’ll be cheated out of everything by someone out there."
"I’m not interested in marriage. I’m fine just the way I am, doing whatever I want." She slapped her thigh as inspiration struck. "You’re always afraid I’ll be deceived and end up like a forsaken wife waiting eighteen years in a cold kiln. Well, if I don’t get married, problem solved! You’ll never have to worry about me being deceived again!"
Mrs. Clementine Coleman’s lips twitched. "That’s what you think now, but what if you regret it later?" Her eyes held a trace of worry. "Your father, your mother, and your brother... we can’t be with you forever."
"How can a rich person be lonely? When I’m old, I’ll just hire two handsome boy toys to wait on me hand and foot at my bedside every day."
Mrs. Clementine Coleman found her daughter completely unreasonable. Seeing Clementine’s carefree attitude, she didn’t know what to say and could only change the subject for the time being. "How did you end up eating mangoes anyway? Weren’t the last few hospital trips memorable enough for you?"
Mrs. Clementine Coleman reached out and affectionately tapped Clementine’s nose. "You only remember the treat, never the punishment."
"Hmph." Clementine put her hands on her hips. "There was a reason this time! I drank that mango juice without realizing it."
