Chapter 1245: Chapter 1245: Amadeus: I Almost Died Laughing

Nathalie knew Sadam had been eyeing the sniper rifle in her game for a while. Hearing his words, she couldn’t help but chuckle, her wrist turning slightly as she replied casually, "Alright. I’ll help you get it. I’ll let you know if I do."

Sadam, having achieved his goal coming to Rhine, felt satisfied and was no longer feeling aggrieved. He swiftly got up and said to Nathalie, "If you get it, Nathalie, I’ll treat you to a meal."

Nathalie raised her eyebrows, feeling as if she had already gotten it, "I want to have hot pot at the usual place."

Sadam laughed immediately, reverting to his usual playful, carefree persona, "Alright, wherever you say."

He turned his head and with a serious expression said to Amadeus, "I say, Amadeus, Nathalie really likes that hot pot place. Haven’t you considered investing in a hot pot restaurant or something?" 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

He knew Amadeus had many businesses nationwide, like having several hotels in McKinney under his name.

But most of Amadeus’s business investments were just for fun.

Sadam had never seen him take these businesses seriously.

Sadam always felt that besides The Ninth Institute and these domestic ventures, Amadeus had other secretive business interests he was unaware of.

But then again, no matter how good the friendship is, if the other person doesn’t want to talk, he wouldn’t be tactless and insist on asking.

In this day and age, who doesn’t have a secret or two?

Amadeus glanced at him, his gaze rather chilly.

Sadam closed his mouth, stopping his chatter.

Brian also stood up at this time and said to Nathalie and Amadeus, "I should be leaving too. Ms. Quinlan, I won’t be bothering you anymore. Goodnight."

"Goodnight." Nathalie raised her eyelids, still holding her phone, but when Brian spoke to her, she politely set the phone down and lifted her head to address him.

Brian responded with a hum.

Sadam shamelessly mused, "Nathalie, goodnight~ Remember to wash your hands before drawing the Dragon Sniper for me! Good luck~!"

Nathalie twitched her lips, speechless, almost wanting to send him off with: "I take back what I said earlier. You might as well do it yourself!"

Luckily, she held back.

Sadam was just being cheeky, only joking around with Nathalie.

After the joke, he showed a satisfied expression, grinning as he followed Brian out.

Alfred saw them about to leave and followed, "Mr. Vinson, let me see you out."

Brian and Sadam both had left, leaving the apartment in its usual tranquility.

Nathalie stood up at this time and whispered to the man lounging on the sofa, "You go ahead and play. I’m going upstairs to handle something."

"Do you want some milk?" Amadeus knew Nathalie had only come out to greet the guests out of politeness.

Since the ’guests’ in the house had left, Nathalie surely had things to attend to.

After all, she was always quite busy.

"No, I drank too much tea this afternoon, my stomach feels off. I’ll just have plain water." Nathalie casually grabbed the half-drunk Evian water, lazily stretched her legs, and called out, "I’m heading upstairs."

Amadeus observed the girl as she was about to head upstairs, not forcing her to stay, only raising an eyebrow, his relaxed posture captivating, "Nathalie, ten days left."

Nathalie was holding a bottle of mineral water, one foot already stepping on the stairs. Hearing his words, she stopped again, turned her head, and looked puzzled, "What ten days?"

Amadeus saw her appear in a ’I’m not responsible for this’ dazed manner, and was unusually irritated to the point of gnashing his teeth, almost laughing because of her.
