the two-faced Adopted Girl Who Melted CEO's Ice-Cold Heart-Chapter 815: Mr. Li Sent Flowers Again—A Total of 120 Bouquets
Delphine turned around and looked at the woman in front of her, wearing an ink-splashed landscape dress. Truly, people are as their names suggest. Though she wasn’t particularly stunning, she exuded a gentle and comfortable aura, carrying the charm of a mature woman.
"I don’t have much knowledge of paintings, just came to pick one because a friend likes them," Delphine smiled, politely and courteously speaking, noticing the momentary stiffness in the other’s smile, her own smile deepening, aware that Emily had recognized her.
Emily had a close relationship with Ignatius Leclair and naturally knew of her existence. In the past few years, she had managed to gain some reputation in the Entertainment Sector.
Unfortunately, she didn’t know about the other’s existence, not knowing if it was Ignatius Leclair being secretive or her being rather dull.
Emily’s momentary lapse was quickly recovered, and she gently smiled, "Do you wish to gift it to a gentleman or a lady? Do they have a preferred painter or any particular interest?"
"Gentleman, he enjoys collecting works of renowned painters. If I were to say, he doesn’t have any special preference, probably likes pastoral landscape paintings," Delphine casually made up.
Ignatius Leclair’s preferences aren’t easy for ordinary people to guess. However, she hadn’t seriously planned on choosing a painting; buying one randomly would be sufficient, intending to throw it on his face later and let him recognize the gallery’s name.
"Our gallery has a painting depicting rural pastoral scenery. Please follow me for a look," Emily smiled, "The artist isn’t very famous at the moment, but his style resembles that of United Kingdom artist Lambert. He specializes in painting estates, landscapes, and people working, with vivid colors, making it quite collectible."
Delphine followed behind her and looked at the landscape painting being introduced. Dense, lush trees concealed village houses behind them; in the distance, there was a golden wheat field. A farmwoman led children, bringing cattle home—it indeed was a typical landscape scene.
Delphine smiled slightly, settled on this one to gift Ignatius Leclair.
"I’ll trouble you with this painting," Delphine said indifferently.
"Delphine, you decided on this painting so quickly?" Chloe Winston was still looking around, somewhat astounded by how she bought a painting in less than five minutes.
"Our gallery has just opened, for the first three days all are offered at a twenty percent discount. Purchasing a painting allows membership, enjoying future salons and other benefits," Emily smiled, "Please leave your address so I can arrange to have the painting delivered to your home."
She took the pen Emily handed over and wrote down the address.
"Emily, Ignatius’ people sent flowers again, 120 bouquets in total. They can’t even fit in the lobby," a young employee of the gallery joyfully came in, saying, "Emily, this has been going on for three days."
The tip of Delphine’s pen paused, Chloe Winston beside her also widened her eyes. In Southeast Asia, only Ignatius Leclair dared to call himself ’Ignatius.’
Delphine calmly reached out to hold Chloe Winston’s hand, put the pen down, and smiled, saying, "This is the address; please have the boss send it over tonight."
"Will there be anyone at your place to receive the painting tonight?" Emily seemed to hesitate for a moment.
Delphine smiled and said casually, "I’ll receive it."
Walking out from the gallery, Chloe Winston glanced at the newly delivered 120 bouquets, angrily shivering, and seeing Delphine’s calm demeanor, she said crossly, "Delphine, they said the flowers were sent by Ignatius, is it brother-in-law?"
Delphine sneered; probably it’s him. Sending fresh flowers for three consecutive days, ha.
