The Top Omega Hunter Wants a Quiet Life [BL]-Chapter 66: Ch : Secret Out- Part 3
"Oh wow-! He’s really fast. I don’t think I would be able to keep up with him...in a fight of course."
Lynn complained as he watched Manet...no, Ace leave the arena after not giving him an answer.
Now, even Lynn had no confirmation that the person he had just ran into was Ace or not. But a part of him just knew that he had ran into Ace.
It was the same part that kept telling him that the Ace the association was projecting was a fake one. And his instincts also told him that this omega had the same scent as Kyle from the PC Café did.
So there was only one conclusion he could read—Ace, Manet, and Kyle were the same people and he had just gotten incredibly lucky.
"Hmm, I want to give more of a chase but I should let Ace keep his dignity for now. I can wait a little more for him to reveal his secrets to me."
Lynn told himself before he pushed himself back on his feet.
A quick look around told him that no one was paying attention to him and he thanked the small artifact he had grabbed on his way out.
He quickly deactivated it and walked toward the people around him.
"Hunter Lynn, we have questions for you. How was the last round of the championship? Did something happen?"
"Why did the connection inside the dungeon break? Do you know anything?"
The reporters swarmed like flies to sweets and he adapted his mask to greet them.
"Ah, can you all ask one question at a time? Also, as per the championship policies, I cannot talk about anything that happened during the competition. You will have to press the association for answers regarding this topic."
With those words, Lynn successfully deviated these reporters’ attention away from himself and toward the association.
The rest of the interview was standard and Lynn entered the corridor before he let out a sigh of relief.
"You know that you don’t have to play with the media reporters. You can ask them to leave you alone."
Rhiner told Lynn as he walked inside as well. The rest of Rhiner’s team followed and Lynn was a little surprised to see that they all looked alright.
"Hmm, maybe you are right. But I like to indulge the media. They make up for good support to have on your back sometimes. Especially when you need their help with PR cleanup."
Lynn told Rhiner and Rhiner flinched.
This was a jab toward Kesha and her obsession with Lynn and also her rude behavior that the PR team needed to hide from the world.
"Ah...you are right. Maybe that’s why you are the face of our agency. You know what to do in any given situation."
Rhiner spoke in an almost bitter tone as he felt his irritation pile up. He did not even know why he felt this irritated in the first place.
He just knew that he saw Lynn take Manet and something in him just wanted to drag the omega hunter back toward him.
’How weird. Why am I feeling possessive over someone I have not even properly met before? Ugh, I hate feeling like this.’
Rhiner almost spoke out aloud before Lynn decided to turn around.
"I need to head away now. Good luck to...whatever you are going to do next. I will hopefully see you soon...as long as you don’t die out in a dungeon first."
The alpha told Rhiner before he disappeared down the hallway.
Rhiner’s hands made a fist at his side but he slowly tried to calm himself down. There was no point in getting angry in the first place.
But still, he was not able to convince his heart of the same.

"Kyle, are you there? I-it’s scary..."
Deep in the mountains, in a beautiful villa, an alpha thrashed around as the heat threatened to eat him alive.
The alpha clawed at his neck and chest, wanting to get more air in his lungs. But the more he tried, the more he felt like he was drowning.
Voices kept trying to reach for him, wanting to tug him toward them. And like a helpless puppet, Theo had no choice but to follow their flow.
"Come toward us...Our lord—"
"Your destiny awaits you—"
"You promised us...you would return..."
The voices sounded so inviting and cool that the alpha wanted to go to them. The heat was killing him and the voices seemed like a relief to them.
But what scared him was what lay at the end of those voices.
Red eyes looked back at him and they felt familiar. He could tell that they belonged to a part of him as well.
"Are you going to keep rejecting yourself? Then, do you want to lose Kyle to someone else as well? Don’t you want to grab Kyle and make him yours? Just like he was at the start?"
The voice asked and Theo felt his body jolt.
Arousal pooled in his stomach as images of Kyle flashed through his eyes. He wanted to grab the omega and hold him down as he calmed his heat and hunger in that wet and tight heat.
He could imagine Kyle looking at him with those intense and wet eyes, his hands reaching toward Theo and cupping his face and—
"U-ughh..."
The alpha came in his hands, but the heat worsened. Nothing seemed to be working and a sob escaped Theo’s throat.
"Don’t you want to see Kyle? Just accept us and we shall show you Kyle. Here, have a peek."
The portal opened and Theo finally had a sniff of the pheromones he was craving. He almost moved toward the small portal and reached with his hands toward it with closed eyes.
But when he opened his eyes, his hands had turned into claws that covered the portal.
"Kyle-! Kyle-!"
He called desperately and finally, those beautiful eyes looked at him.
But then, the portal closed and a sob escaped the alpha. His desire was running rampant.
"If you want Kyle, then accept me. And I will help you go back to the days when it was just you, Kyle, and me. All three of us is all we need in this world. No one else is needed."
The voice told Theo and he felt weak. He knew that he should not give up, but those words sounded too tempting.
A world where only he and Kyle existed was not something he had thought about, but it just...felt right.
"That’s right. This is your desire...something you want...just accept it...accept me."
The voice told Theo and he felt like he was melting as he heard more and more of those voices.
And then, the phone rang sharply and Theo snapped out of his daze. The voices retreated as he headed toward the phone and looked at the caller ID.
Ben.
"H-Hello-!"
Theo’s shaky voice called out on the phone and Ben sounded startled when he opened his mouth.
"Oh god-! Are you alright, kid? You sound like you are dying. Do let me know if you need anything and I will get it delivered to you."
Ben told Theo and Theo let out a shaky laughter.
"N-No, I am fine. I am...truly fine now."
