Wei Zhen, upon hearing Vice Hall Master Tao Wu’s words, glanced towards Jing Yan again.

"Jing Yan, is there any truth to this matter?" Wei Zhen asked.

"Senior! It was first the Void Divine Palace’s Void Son who plotted against me, forcing me to retaliate!" Jing Yan responded.

However, Jing Yan’s heart stirred slightly; Wei Zhen’s attitude towards him seemed problematic. He had discovered a Super Wormhole node within the Devouring Sky Clan Fortress, providing substantial merits for the Chaotic Ten Thousand Clan Beings. Logically, Wei Zhen should be more amicable towards him. Even if not amicable, he shouldn’t harbor hostility.

But Jing Yan sensed Wei Zhen had an intentional antagonism towards him.

"Jing Yan! You claim the Void Divine Palace plotted against you, yet I see no signs of injury on you. Contrarily, one Void Son from the Void Divine Palace is dead and another injured, a fact. With these words, Jing Yan realized there truly was an issue.

Not only Jing Yan, but Chenyuan Emperor and others also sensed Ultimate Strong Person Wei Zhen was targeting Jing Yan.

Especially since nearby the Devouring Sky Clan Fortress, only one Ultimate Strong Person existed.

Mie Chun’s attack on Jing Yan was a sudden ambush, assisted by other Controllers of the Void Divine Palace. Wei Zhen’s attack preceded some spoken words, granting Chenyuan and others time to prepare. Given Wei Zhen’s status, a stealthy attack on Jing Yan would be disgraceful.

Jing Yan’s complexion turned slightly pale!

Although Chenyuan Emperor intercepted Wei Zhen’s attack, Jing Yan still felt the terrifying power contained within. Such formidable strength made him feel like an ant before an elephant.
