Yu Siqiao’s heart was completely filled by his beloved daughter’s words. He willingly supported her as she reached above his head, grasping at leaves and butterflies, occasionally interacting with Yu Mengmeng, her voice so crisp that it melted hearts.

Beside him, Mo Shu said, "Honey, why don’t you play with our son too? Look, he’s only able to play with toys here."

He lunged toward his children, wanting to shield both his son and daughter in his arms, but before he could reach them, the ground cracked open.

As he fell through the fissure, Yu Siqiao was filled with confusion: why could such a vast plain crack open so drastically—wasn’t this geological movement too capricious?

When he came to, Mo Shu was already up.

She leisurely leaned back, drinking water and looking over at him.

She started laughing before she could speak.
