Chapter 37: Chapter 37: Following Holly Sawyer

After finishing breakfast, Holly Sawyer went out by herself, and Sean Grant put down the newspaper he was holding, deciding to follow her out.

Holly Sawyer walked out of the villa gate and directly got into a black car, Sean Grant frowned, took a picture of the license plate number, and went to the garage to drive a car to follow.

"Boss, someone’s following."

Everyone at The Pantheon has good reconnaissance abilities; Walter Bennett saw a car through the rearview mirror and said.

Although there are many cars behind, he can indeed identify which one is following him.

"Ignore it."

Holly Sawyer yawned, leaned on the seat, and closed her eyes for a moment.

Being followed is a normal thing; she also knew that Sean Grant was the one tracking her, but what does it matter?

She can easily shake off Sean Grant’s tracking, though she feels there’s not much need to do so right now.

After all, she’s not going to any secretive place; she just wants to eat some dessert and handle a few small matters.

"Boss, the one following you isn’t Leo Grant, right?"

Walter Bennett couldn’t clearly see who was following them, but he knew someone came from the villa.

Following?

That shouldn’t be Leo Grant’s style. Given Holly Sawyer and Leo Grant’s current familiarity, if Leo wanted to know something, he would directly ask Holly Sawyer instead of resorting to tracking.

"Yes, it’s Sean Grant."

Holly Sawyer’s tone was particularly calm.

Before going out, she knew Sean Grant was very likely to choose to follow her, but she wasn’t concerned.

Walter Bennett stopped talking, having developed his own thoughts.

"Later, you leave first."

The car stopped at the entrance of a dessert shop. After Holly Sawyer got out of the car, Walter Bennett left, as if Holly had just hailed a taxi, with the driver only there to take her to her destination.

Sean Grant watched as the car was driven away, and Holly Sawyer walked into the dessert shop alone. He frowned slightly and parked his car in the parking space.

Holly Sawyer pushed open the dessert shop’s door, and a crisp bell sound rang.

"Boss..."

The shop owner was sitting at the cashier desk, reading a comic book. Hearing the bell sound, she knew someone had come in and brightened her eyes upon seeing Holly Sawyer.

The shop didn’t even have a name, just called Dessert Shop, simple and casual. The customers on the first floor were few, just a few people.

"Shh."

Holly Sawyer placed her finger near her lips and made a "shh" gesture.

Bella Coleman smartly shut her mouth, with a smile on her lips, "What would you like to eat? Here’s the menu."

She asked formally and handed the menu to Holly Sawyer with an appropriate smile.

"I want a mango shaved ice, an ice cream fruit hotpot, a white peach oolong flavored milkshake, and a white peach oolong ice cream."

Holly Sawyer didn’t look at the menu but naturally ordered these items.

White peach oolong flavored items weren’t on the menu; they were prepared only for Holly Sawyer.

Bella Coleman: "Okay."

"Can I go to the second floor?"

At this time, the dessert shop wasn’t busy; just a few people were on the first floor, and the second floor seemed closed.

"Sure, wait a moment, I’ll go turn on the second-floor air conditioning."

Bella Coleman led Holly Sawyer to the second floor.

Bella Coleman was the owner, and there was another staff member doing dessert making when it wasn’t busy. When it was busier, Bella would also help out.

"Boss, why did you come? You didn’t notify me in advance, making me unprepared."

Bella Coleman complained as they walked. She pouted.

If she had known Holly Sawyer was coming, she would have prepared Holly’s favorite things in advance; now, nothing was ready.

Holly Sawyer loved white peach oolong flavors; she liked anything with that taste.

But the shop wasn’t adequately prepared; the white peach oolong milkshake and ice cream were easy, but others were tricky.

Holly Sawyer also considered this issue, so she ordered those two.

"I need to meet someone; Ryan Dunn will come by later."

Holly Sawyer said faintly, her voice indifferent.

Ryan Dunn mainly studied various drugs, and Holly Sawyer was reaching out to Ryan for some items, meeting him at the dessert shop.

"Oh, got it, boss, I feel you gained a little weight."

Bella Coleman carefully observed Holly Sawyer, blinking and speaking.

When Holly Sawyer first came to Bexley, the day Leo Grant "picked her up," Bella Coleman had met Holly, and Holly’s face seemed less fleshy back then.

Holly Sawyer gazed at Bella Coleman; she raised an eyebrow, "Are you sure?"

"Ah, not sure, not sure."

Bella Coleman quickly shook her head; she was too scared to say more.

"Someone is following me."

Upon hearing the sound of shoes colliding with the wooden board, Holly Sawyer slowly voiced a reminder to Bella Coleman.

"No one upstairs; the shop’s not busy. Want me to keep you company? If someone comes, I’ll go down. You being alone upstairs might be a bit scary."

Bella Coleman raised her voice slightly, speaking slowly.

"No need, I prefer quiet."

Holly Sawyer’s voice was a calm refusal.

"Alright, I’m going down first." Bella Coleman said and was about to go downstairs, "Handsome guy, there’s only one girl upstairs."

At the corner, upon seeing Sean Grant, Bella Coleman mentioned and then left.

This young man is quite handsome; wonder if he’s Holly’s admirer, Bella Coleman thought to herself.

She was a total sucker for appearance; she used to freeze upon seeing a handsome man. Now, having seen enough, she could move along.

Sean Grant’s looks were indeed impressive.

"Why are you following me?"

Holly Sawyer looked down at her phone. Hearing footsteps getting closer, she asked without raising her head.

Sean Grant’s steps paused.

"You’ve known all along?"

He pulled out a chair and sat in front of Holly Sawyer.

Her reconnaissance ability was quite strong; the girl seemed increasingly not simple. Yet, his brother still thinks she’s just an innocent little white rabbit.

"Since you followed me out."

Holly Sawyer looked up; she put down her phone and spoke to Sean Grant.

If being tracked is completely unaware, then she wouldn’t be Holly Sawyer; she didn’t see the need to shake him off, otherwise, she’d disappear without a trace.

"Leo probably doesn’t know you’re... that capable?"

Sean Grant looked at Holly Sawyer and asked.

Holly Sawyer raised an eyebrow: "Does it matter?"

"Who owns this license plate number?"

Sean Grant took out his phone, placing the photo he took in front of Holly Sawyer, inquiring.

"Is there?"

Holly Sawyer tapped her finger on her phone’s keyboard and slowly asked.

Sean Grant was a bit confused; he looked at his phone again; the picture had disappeared entirely. He searched around, finding it irretrievable.
