The Soft-Hearted Wife of Mr. Big Shot-Chapter 223: Leo Grant’s Care
Now it’s time to plan properly, otherwise her ’lazy disease’ will be hard to cure, after all, she’s at a late stage of it.
"You haven’t eaten much and you came up here already."
In just a short while, Leo came up, carrying a big bowl of rice noodles, packed with lots of meat. He set the bowl on the table and looked at Holly with a bit of teasing in his eyes.
Usually, the girl’s appetite was quite large, but today she ate just a little and said she was full. Leo understood that Holly just wanted to leave some space for the three brothers.
"Why did you come up?"
Holly paused her actions, blinked gently, and looked at Leo with a face full of confusion.
"If I didn’t come up, my little glutton would be hungry."
Walking up to Holly, Leo gently tapped her nose, speaking with affection.
That’s right, Holly hadn’t eaten her fill, and if he had come up later, she would really be hungry.
"No way."
Holly pouted, her face full of a happy smile, but she was saying no with her words.
Her words didn’t match her heart.
"Really? If not, I’ll just take this bowl away then."
Leo pinched Holly’s cheek, feeling the soft flesh under his fingers, and said teasingly.
"Then take it away."
Holly swatted away Leo’s hand, pouting as she said that.
"Alright."
Leo moved to pick up the bowl, pretending to walk out.
"I’m just kidding, leave the bowl, you can go!"
Holly exclaimed, stopping Leo’s action, rolling her eyes at him in mock annoyance.
"Silly girl."
Leo sat next to Holly, picked up a piece of meat with his chopsticks, and brought it to Holly’s lips.
How could he bear for his little girl to go hungry? Of course, he couldn’t.
"Delicious."
Holly chewed the meat with satisfaction, blinking slowly as she spoke.
"You can’t do this next time, you must eat your fill before leaving the table, understand?"
Leo gently tapped Holly’s head, scolding affectionately.
The little girl never listens, doesn’t even know how to take care of herself.
"Got it."
Holly grinned, a somewhat silly look on her face.
"If you do it again, you’ll just have to go hungry."
Leo picked up another bite of noodles and offered it to Holly’s lips.
Holly took a mouthful and sparingly ate it, showing a satisfied smile.
It was just too delicious; she suddenly wanted to go down and eat, but her pride was still important, so she stayed obediently in the room.
"Would you bear it, brother?"
Holly blinked at Leo, looking at him with innocent eyes.

"Can’t bear it."
Leo honestly responded; he really couldn’t bear to see Holly go hungry.
Even if it were the next, next, next time, he still couldn’t bear it.
"Hehe, I knew brother loves me the most."
Holly playfully blinked, thoroughly enjoying Leo’s behavior.
How lucky to meet such a good guy.
"Silly girl."
Leo fed Holly another bite.
Her face was full of a gratifying smile.
"Here, eat on your own, I have to go down."
"If you want more, send me a message, I’ll bring it up to you."
Placing the bowl in Holly’s hands, Leo gently rubbed her head, his voice affectionate and tender.
His little girl was really quite silly, sometimes adorably so.
"Okay."
Holly nodded, feeling the warmth from the bowl, her heart filled with warmth.
Leo could notice all her little details, always caring for her meticulously, making her feel overwhelmingly happy.
She could faintly hear the sounds of a drinking game downstairs. After finishing everything in the bowl, Holly burped in satisfaction.
Full, and very satisfied.
She stretched lazily, continuing her work on the keyboard.
About half an hour passed, and the sounds downstairs hadn’t ceased. Holly rubbed her temples, then opened the door and went down.
Noah looked completely drunk, swaying, while Nathaniel and Leo were just slightly tipsy.
Noah kept insisting on continuing to drink, with a sort of dramatically tearful demeanor.
Holly: "..."
Not even in a relationship yet, and already so distressed about a breakup. If he got into a relationship and broke up later, wouldn’t he jump off a building?
"Let me."
Leo picked up a glass to drink, only to have it snatched away by Holly, who downed it in one go, looking impressively bold.
Drinking was something she had never lost in.
"Young lady, don’t drink."
Leo took the glass back, speaking gently.
A girl drinking isn’t good.
"Move aside."
Holly snatched the glass back, glaring at Leo, making him stand aside.
"I..."
"Listen to me, sit and don’t talk."
Whatever Leo wanted to say was interrupted by Holly. She made a "shh" gesture.
Leo quickly said nothing, sitting obediently without a word.
Nathaniel glanced at Holly and quietly set his glass down as well, her trustworthiness was quite high.
"You still want to drink?"
Holly directed her attention to Noah, asking slowly.
"Yes."
Noah chugged right from the bottle straight into his mouth.
"I don’t drink with women."
Noah slurred, drunkenly.
"But no one else will drink with you."
Holly blinked, speaking slowly.
Noah glanced over at Nathaniel and Leo, who remained indifferent.
Noah: "..."
No one to drink with was actually pretty boring. Even in his drunken state, Noah had this awareness.
Holly: "I’ll drink with you."
"You can’t even finish a bottle."
A completely drunk Noah didn’t even know who was in front of him, only knowing it was a woman.
Holly asked back, "What if I can finish it?"
"Then I’ll quit drinking today."
Noah said with particular confidence, patting his chest as if to look down on her.
"Alright."
Holly unscrewed the bottle cap boldly, tilted her head back, and started chugging.
Watching this, Leo couldn’t help but feel tense. He wanted to snatch the beer bottle from Holly, but rationality won out, and he chose to quietly watch.
"Finished."
Holly placed the beer bottle on the table, her face expressionless.
Noah was dumbfounded, unbelieving he saw Holly drink a whole bottle of beer without any trouble.
Holly asked, "What about your promise?"
A man’s word is as good as gold, Noah chose to quietly put down the beer bottle, harboring a bit of frustration.
