The Royal Mark-Chapter 352: To The Death
King Mordrak pinched his forehead between his brows. He inhaled and exhaled deeply several times before bursting off, "How the hell did a weak sickly human that is also a woman manage to escape?!!!"
Everyone trembled in fear and looked at the chamberlain urging him to answer the demon king.
"M-My King, it was because everyone was ordered to stay away from the Queen’s room so she wouldn’t be disturbed while sleeping. We searched the whole castle but she’s not here," the chamberlain said.
’I shouldn’t have been too lenient with her. I’m a fool to think that she will stay put obediently while I hold hostage the cure for that mongrel. Did she figure it out? Is that why she decided to escape?’ King Mordrak thought.
"Where’s the Queen’s servant?" the demon king asked his chamberlain.
"The guards said she went out last night with a sick woman. I asked if it was Queen Elsa and they said no. They checked the woman and she had black hair, not red. Plus she was coughing a lot so they let them out to prevent any disease from spreading inside the castle," the chamberlain said.
"Dumb guards goddamnit! Search for that servant, the sick woman is surely Queen Elsa. That servant would not leave her side. Elsa must have promised something to that human that’s why she was brave to leave the castle and commit treason. Find them now!!!" King Mordrak burst out in anger.
He returned to his room slamming the door. "FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! Fucking idiots!!!"
Milda almost jumped out of the bed, startled by the loud bang of the door. "What happened?" Milda asked as she swiftly put on her robe.
"Get dressed! We need to search for Elsa, the motherfucker escaped with her servant!" Mordrak uttered while scrambling to put on his clothes.
"What? Didn’t she want to get the cure for Chris?" Milda asked in confusion.
"She must have found out that there’s no cure and left. She’s too cunning! I have guards follow her everywhere, even her human servants. They didn’t find anything suspicious since they only stayed in her room and their houses, no suspicious interactions with others."
"Don’t worry, I will help you find her," Milda said softly to the demon king as she hugged him from behind.
"You better be! Because if you don’t she will spill your secret to your family. Don’t forget that all the other kingdoms are in alliance with your brothers and father. The last thing I want is for my father to call me back in the underworld. There’s no way I will go back there... Now move your ass!"
King Mordrak pushed away Milda and walked out of the room. Milda stood on her spot with a smile on her face.
"I don’t mind getting exposed. She won’t last long anyway," Milda muttered before picking up her garments and started dressing up.

In Blackhart Castle...
Chris woke up early and went to the castle grounds as soon as he dressed up. "Is everyone ready to go?" Christopher asked Drake who was in charge of preparing the battalion that would join the battle.
There were a total of fifty divine mages and each mage could hold a portal for thirty people without sacrificing their lifespan. However, they could only do it once every ten years, the one who portal them to Arcanis would stay behind as backup in case they needed more people to be teleported. So, whether they won or lost the war, everyone would need to walk back to Arcanis.
"Everyone is ready, we can go any moment," Drake answered.
Chris nodded, he walked over to the topmost part of the steps and yelled, "Everyone listen... We will directly open the portal at the demon king’s castle. We will attack them by surprise. So I want everyone to be ready.
The moment you step foot on Kurzen, do not falter. Kill every demon that you will see. No one shall be spared. Remember, what they did to our loved ones, to our friends, our family, our children! We will not spare anyone as what they did to us!
The demons must be stopped at all costs and we will retrieve our Queen back, our Luna! We will not stop until every single demon is dead! We will abolish them from the face of Vectus, so all kingdoms could live freely! WE WILL FIGHT THE DEMONS TO THE DEATH UNTIL EVERY CITIZEN IN VECTUS IS FREE!"
"YEAH!!!"
Everyone cheered and rallied each other. They all started to group themselves by forming a queue behind the divine mage that they were assigned to.
Elandir was the one who would open the portal for Chris, Andrius, Drake, Nathan, and Elsa’s mages. Lexi was left behind and was in charge of the communication between the backup troops and the ones going to battle.
"Wait!" Lexi called out, but the divine mages started opening their portals and the werewolves and mages had already walked through it.
"Go on Lexi, what it is, and please hurry," Chris asked.
"The message from Saldivar just arrived, they will help and are already in our port!" Lexi excitedly exclaimed.
"Good, tell them to go spread through the borders of Kurzen and also send other packs with them. No single demon must escape," Chris ordered before stepping through Elandir’s portal.
"Good luck Lexi! You know how to send me a message. Please do not hesitate to contact me," Elandir said before he too, went through his portal.
Lexi watched everyone go. It was fast as everyone was gone in under a minute. As soon as the divine mages created a portal, the mages and werewolves ran and jumped through it as fast as they could, eager to fight with their greatest enemy, determined to defeat them all and save their Queen.
"May the goddess protect all of you," Lexi uttered before going back inside the pack where the other pack alphas were on standby waiting for their King’s command.
