The Royal Mark-Chapter 238: It Is Time, Ciel

[I see... It would be my honor, princess...]

Elsa heard Ciel say, but nothing is happening. Ciel was not merging with her. She’s still not in control of her magic.

’Ciel! What is happening? I don’t feel you.’

[Don’t think that it would be as easy as merging with Nuri, Niel, and Gaia. You can’t take me that easily...]

Elsa then felt her hands rise up, aimed at Queen Yvonne, and fired a pyroblast. She saw Chris use his body to embrace Yvonne to protect her from her attack. His shirt was completely burned and now gone.

’Ciel! There’s no time for you to be stubborn, I need you now!’

"Prince Christopher, I think it is time for you to show your soon-to-be ex-wife that you no longer recognize her as your Luna. Kill her!" Queen Yvonne said.

Chris turned around and faced Elsa. His claws and fangs started growing. Furs appeared all over his body. His face and ears changed. The once-human body that he has is now growing bigger and bulkier by the second.

Suddenly, it was not quiet anymore. But the only thing that Elsa could hear was Chris’ roar and his bones breaking and transforming.

Then there it was, the voice that she had longed to hear for months. The voice that she misses a lot. But it was not the message that she wanted to hear.

’Run... Elsa, run as fast as you can... Run away from me, my love...’

Elsa heard Chris speak from their mate bond before he completely transformed into his werewolf form.

"Shit! This is fucking out of hand!" Elandir exclaimed upon seeing Chris charging Elsa at a fast speed.

Elandir gathered all his energy and lifted his staff as high as he could gathering all the electrical charges in the air before aiming it at Chris. A lightning bolt strikes Chris making him halt, but Elandir knows that it will not stop Chris for that long.

"Elsa! Fucking get out of his way!" Elandir shouted but it did not reach Elsa’s ears.

Elsa watched Chris target her but she couldn’t control her body. She now feels light, as if was about to fly. Her gut prompted her to look down on the ground, and she was right! Her body is now slowly ascending into the air...

She panicked, for she was also losing her breath. She looked at Chris who was swaying after recovering from Elandir’s attack. She saw him shake his head and when he started back at her, his eyes were red.

[We told you to run!]

This time the voice that she heard was deep and hoarse. It was Yakobo!

’Yakobo! Please get Chris back!’

[It’s too late, Princess... It’s too late... RUN!]

She saw Chris’ eyes glow before started running towards her. Before he could reach her, the earth between them cracked and huge chunks of rocks emerged. Then the water came gushing next, mixing with the dirt around Chris.

It quickly created mud that engulfed Chris. She turned her right and saw Baahu, Arla, and Rylie working together. A loud roar echoed through the castle ground, as she continued to rise up in the air uncontrollably. She saw Alaric shifting as he fought Elandir.

She then heard a loud explosion. She followed the sound and saw Kaizer and Dasher fight with Queen Yvonne. The witch queen successfully countered the combined attack of her mages. And with the blink of an eye, Queen Yvonne launched an attack against Kaizer and Dasher.

Elsa witnessed a dark enchanted rope ensnaring the brothers’ necks, causing them to suffocate. The witch queen then raised Kaizer and Dasher off the ground, causing them to squirm helplessly while suspended in the air.

"Kaizer, Dasher, NO!"

Elsa heard Rylie shout while still helping Baahu and Arla cage Chris inside the mound of earth. She watches everyone fight helplessly without her making her curse out loud.

"FUCK THIS CIEL! I NEED YOU NOW!"

[Breathe in and out, my dear. Remember what your mom had told you. Keep a calm mind. Concentrate on our bond, and reflect on your origins. Rekindle the sensation of discovering your abilities for the first time.

Even though she was miserably panicking, Elsa listened to Ciel and closed her eyes. She inhale and exhale as Ciel instructed. She remembered Hera on her thirteenth birthday when she first received her elements.

She pictured herself back in Nobus during her surgery days. Her heart slowed down and started to beat normally again. She remembered the many times that she caught Rocco sweetly smiling while sleeping in her arms and that made her smile as well.

Lastly, she recalled their mating night and the moment that Chris bit her neck, marking her. She felt electricity surge through her spine which made all the hairs on her body rise up. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

Finally, she heard her... The old voice that always scolds her and talks to her like she’s her own daughter. The voice that she would surely miss even though she always talks to her sarcastically but also sweetly.

And as if she was in control, even though she was not, her arms started moving on their own and lifted up on her sides. Her back suddenly hurt, it hurt too much making her shout.

"AHH!!!"

Her wail was so loud causing the people near her stopped fighting and looked at her.

She heard Ciel say once more, but the pain in her back was so intense that she couldn’t think clearly or even speak.

"It burns... My back fucking burns!" she screamed as she felt as if her back was being sliced with a thick soldering iron.

Soon, the castle ground lit up, and the light source was Elsa. She was shining brighter than the sun catching everyone’s attention. They covered their sights for her brightness was blinding.

Even Queen Yvonne dropped Kaizer and Dasher for she cannot see anymore.

"What the hell is going on?" the witch queen exclaimed while covering her eyes. This was something she was not expecting. She started to feel fear... Panic sets in, the Elsa that she studied and observed for years is not the one that she is facing right now and she was not prepared for it.
