The Royal Mark-Chapter 184: Wake Up Soon
Drake and Elandir went back to the castle, and like before, Drake stayed quiet all throughout their journey until they were almost on the castle ground.
"Elandir, do you like my sister?"
"Oh, God no! Why would you think that?" Elandir quickly retorted.
"I saw how close you are even though you only have known each other for months."
"Hera is likable, just like how Zemarians like and love her. I feel the same but I only see her as a friend. And even if I do like her romantically, I have no chance. Her heart belongs to someone else. Also, I will never marry a human. Unlike werewolves and vampires, there is no way for us to turn humans into elves, so I want to save myself from future heartache and misery."
"I understand. By the way, thank you for saving my sister back then. And please continue taking care of her."
Elandir scoffed, "Pfft, the last thing that woman needs is someone to take care of her. She bosses everyone around and she terrorizes me. When she found out that I could teleport, she made me steal every flower and herb from your castle that she wanted to plant in her cabin and I had no choice but to follow or else she would nag endlessly about it."
Drake laughed out loud, "Sounds like her. Anyway, thank you again and I’ll see you tomorrow before the mission."
Elandir nodded and both men went to their chambers to rest since they had a long day ahead of them tomorrow.
And when just Elandir thought he could finally rest, he heard a knock on his door and he quickly opened it with a plan to shoo away the nuisance.
"Father!" Elandir exclaimed not expecting him to be there.
"Yes, it’s me, and not a ghost, you look as if you’ve seen one," King Tyrion said.
"It has been a long time since you came to my room. What gives?"
"I wanted to talk to you about your joining the battle. I am not going to stop you but you cannot bring the Moonstone Mithril Staff. However, I will give you this," King Tyrion showed Elandir what he had been hiding behind his back.
Elandir’s mouth turned into an ’o’ as he received the mace from his father. "Father this is... This is my grandfather’s Runed Mithril Warhammer. Are you sure you will give it to me?"
"Even though I cannot let you bring the Moonstone Mithril Staff, I will not send my only son to a war without a proper weapon. But, I will only allow you to join their war when Princess Elsa wakes up. You understand that right?" King Tyrion confirmed.
"Yes, I understand, the princess must be protected at all costs. She’s the only one of her kind and the only key to the past," Elandir said.
King Tyrion patted Elandir’s shoulder and said, "Win the war with her and show me your true power, Son. And you come back victorious, this kingdom is yours. I will step down as king and pass you my crown. I could use some vacation with your mother," before he went out of the room, leaving Elandir with a big grin on his face.
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" Eladir raised the mace before hugging it, "Mwah mwah mwah! You are mine!" and kissed the mace.
He then placed the mace beside his bed and looked out of the window staring at the direction of the Tree of Life. "Please wake up soon, princess. Everyone you love is still alive and waiting for you. Please don’t stay in the world that you created for too long. We all need you," Elandir murmured.

Baahu shared the guest room with Dasher who were already fast asleep as soon as they settled in. He can’t blame his friend since Prince Andrius only took two air mages to help the water mages steer the boat.
The Prince made them work in two shifts to be able to reach Qiryn faster reason for him to be that dead tired. He went to the balcony and looked at the night sky.
"Are you looking at the moon and stars too? I miss you, Lexi..."
"You are not crying aren’t you, bro?"
Baahu quickly wiped the single tear that fell from his right eye before facing Arla. She raised the two wine glasses and a wine bottle that she was holding for him to see.
"I saw earlier that we have a connecting balcony and I figured Dasher would be sleeping already by now so I only brought two glasses," she said before handing one wine glass to Baahu.
"Thank you I needed this," Baahu replied. He took the wine bottle as well, helping Arla open it.
"You really like her, huh?" Arla said as Baahu poured wine into her glass.
"I don’t just like her. I love her, she’s my wife. I wouldn’t agree to all this if I didn’t love her," Baahu corrected his sister.
"That fast?" Arla asked.
When she found out what Baahu and Lexi did, she couldn’t believe it until she saw his mark. Baahu is older than her and she had never seen him get serious with any women. He often goes to brothels with his friends but never takes any woman home.
"Arla, I don’t know how to explain it. But the moment I saw her before the coronation, there was something about her that I could not resist. Perhaps it’s similar to what they call a mate pull but much weaker since they are humans so I believe that we really are fated mates.
When I first saw her, I couldn’t take my eyes off her. I can’t breathe properly in her presence and my heart goes crazy. And when our eyes made contact, my heart skipped a beat or perhaps stopped beating totally. That’s how strong my feeling was. And every day I see her that feeling grows stronger."
"I understand big bro, I understand. I know exactly how it feels..."
"You do?" Baahu asked with a frown.
"Yep..." Arla said before taking a sip of her wine, "I do..."
