The Royal Mark-Chapter 163: Can’t Breathe

With all her strength, Elsa gathered all the anger that she had in her heart and turned them into energy that fueled the fire within her. With her wrath and pain, Elsa screamed her heart out mixing her divine and fire magic together and releasing them in one hell of a magic explosion that broke the protection spell that her mages cast on the boat.

It did not end there...

The once calm sea began to create waves... small waves that gradually turned into large ones. There was no storm but the waves were so strong and huge that they started to splash water on Elsa and her dogs. Water was starting to accumulate inside the boat, making her dogs worry.

[Elsa! Stop it! You are going to make our boat sink!] Gaia exclaimed.

"What? I didn’t do anything! It was not me!" she replied and started using both her hands to scoop the water out as she panicked.

[It is you, Elsa! Look at Nile!] Ciel said and prompted her to look at her dog.

And there was Nile, sitting calmly at the end of the boat looking at a distance blankly with his blue eyes glowing.

"Oh my God! Nile!" Elsa went to her dog and shook him a bit to wake him up from his trance but nothing happened.

[That will not work, you have to call him. Call him by his true name, just like what you did with Nuri!] Ciel said.

"How the hell should I know his real name?! And for the record, I was not myself when I called Nuri’s real name," she said.

[Either you call him or we all die!] Ciel shouted as the waves became stronger and taller.

"Fuck! What is your real name, Nile!!!" Elsa shook Nile vigorously this time, not knowing how to wake up her handsome dog.

Just like Ciel said, it didn’t work and her panicking only caused the waves to swallow them whole. The current it created was so strong that all of them couldn’t swim up. Elsa immediately grabbed Ciel and Gaia who were beside her and cast divine protection, enabling them to breathe while inside that bubble, but tiny cracks quickly showed up, warning them of their impending doom.

Elsa looked around underwater searching for Nile and he was not hard to find because of his glowing blue eyes. Like them, he was continuously falling toward the bottom of the ocean and he was too far for her to reach while inside her slowly breaking protection spell.

[Elsa! Calm your heart and mind! You will only be able to reach Nile by doing that. Feel him in your heart and mind.] Ciel instructed.

Elsa closed her eyes and did the breathing exercise that her grandmother taught her. Her heartbeat slowly returned to normal and she tried her best to only think of Nile and not the fact that they were a few minutes away from their death.

’Nile... Where are you? Please come back to me... I need you... We need you...’ Elsa uttered in their mind link.

It was silent. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Nile did not respond. She tried hard to recall her moments with Nile when they were still in Novus. She remembered Nile used to behave when they were watching her favorite movie when she was young and she gave him a nickname that he was so happy with.

And it hit her... His real name...

"PERCY!!!"

Elsa’s eyes grew wider when Nile looked at her with his glowing eyes.

[Hello, Princess Elsa. Ready to join me?] Nile asked via their link.

’Yes! Come back to me and save us, I command you!’

[My pleasure...] Nile started glowing and soon exploded, breaking Elsa’s divine protection completely.

In the blink of an eye, Nile was gone, and Elsa started manipulating the water around them, forming huge swirls that whirled around them pushing them upward the ocean, above the water.

Elsa found their boat upside down and quickly tested her new power by shooting water on the boat to turn it. Fortunately, it was not hard to do and she swam as fast as she could toward it bringing her two unconscious dogs.

"Fuck! Ciel! Gaia!"

Her two dogs were not breathing.

She can’t panic now she thought. Even though she’s a doctor for humans, she did study some basic life-saving skills for instance like this. Elsa started doing chest compression on Ciel first since she was older, putting her at risk of dying first.

With a few pump and blow on her mouth, she was able to regain her consciousness and started coughing out the water she inhaled.

Elsa quickly shifted to Gaia. It was not the same as Ciel’s case...

"Come on, Gaia! Breathe! Fucking breathe, please!" Elsa yelled out as her tears started flowing. But she did not stop doing her chest compression.

’Gaia! Wake up, please. Don’t leave me...’ she pleaded while doing CPR. But it’s no use, Gaia remains unconscious and not breathing.

Elsa was getting tired and she knew that her body was becoming heavy and her movements were becoming slow.

"FUCK! GAIA! FUCKING WAKE UP!!! If you die I will freaking kill you!!!" Elsa clasped her hands and gave Gaia her one last blow, more of a punch on her chest. She heard Gaia’s ribs crack, but at the same time, she heard her whine.

"OH MY GOD! GAIA!" Elsa quickly hovered her hands over Gaia’s ribs to heal her and soon she started coughing like Ciel.

When Gaia sat up and shook her body to expel the water from her fur, Elsa swiftly grabbed her and Ciel. She enveloped her arms around their neck so tight, not wanting to let them go.

Elsa did not say a word but sobbed hard. She couldn’t put into words the emotions that she was feeling. The fear, sadness, anger, and joy were just so overwhelming that she couldn’t stop crying.

But her dogs felt otherwise.

[Let go! We can’t breathe!] Gaia said.

[Did you just revive us to only kill us again?] Ciel jested.

Elsa let go and chuckled while still crying if that made sense. She was just too happy that she did not lose everyone. Nile has finally merged with her and she still has Ciel and Gaia with her.
