"Get lost!" Qin Fan laughed, playfully messing up Li Qiuzhe’s hair before sitting down on the sofa. Changing the subject, he asked, "Did anything happen while I was gone?"
"Nothing major, except that under the leadership of Brother Qiuze from the Northeast, we’ve all become famous! We’re now the number one troublemakers among the freshmen!" "By the way, Big Bro, there’s something I’m not sure if I should tell you," Li Yunzhe suddenly blurted out.
Everyone froze and turned to look at him.
"If you have something to say, just say it. What’s wrong?" Qin Fan said with a smile.
"Remember that time we fought those thugs outside the bar? It’s been so long I thought the whole thing was over. But in the last few days, some of my buddies who run in those circles told me that gang is planning to get revenge. They might even come to campus to grab one of us!" Li Yunzhe said with a serious expression.
"How do they know we’re students at Jinling University?" Zhu Houqing’s expression shifted slightly.
"I don’t know. It’s probably because we’ve been making too much noise on campus lately. There were plenty of people who saw us fight that night, and it’s likely some of them were Jinling University students. With word of mouth, it wouldn’t be surprising if they not only know we’re students, but might even know our names by now," Li Yunzhe explained.
"Shit! What’s there to be afraid of? Let them come if they’ve got the guts! They’re just men, same as us. Who’s afraid of who?" The ever-reckless Li Qiuzhe tossed his towel aside and boasted defiantly.
"Big Bro, we’re here to study, not to be gangsters! Those guys are actual criminals! We’re so screwed this time, what are we going to do?!" Wang Dalu began to panic, his voice trembling.
As a model student from an ordinary family, he had only fought outside the bar because they were forced into it. He had assumed they could just fight and flee in a strange city without any consequences and never expected to be tracked down. With his academic career and diploma on the line, how could he possibly stay calm?
"If they really come to the school to grab one of us, best-case scenario, we get disciplined by the university. Worst-case... who knows what’ll happen if they get their hands on us. Yunzhe, you have friends in those circles. Can you ask them to smooth this over?" Zhu Houqing asked timidly, swallowing hard.
"My so-called ’friends’ are just small fry. How could they settle something like this? But it is my fault. If I had known those guys were the East District Baldies, I never would’ve let us fight them. If this rumor is true, we really need to lay low for a while. What do you think, Big Bro?" Li Yunzhe said, his own confidence shaken.

"Yunzhe, your father and I did our best. The other party said they would drop the matter with you, out of respect for your grandfather.
