Chapter 305: Chapter 305: Embracing the Spoiled Life

Julian Sterling muttered to himself, then suddenly realized that half of that massive fortune probably belonged to him now. Oh, the wealthy were not so detestable anymore.

As if understanding what Julian was thinking, Ethan Caldwell placed Julian on the bed, lightly pinched Julian’s nose, and then rummaged through Julian’s suitcase to find a pair of socks. The man sat at the foot of the bed, putting the socks on Julian while speaking: "Kieran Talbot just arrived, so we will go meet Kieran first. Our own territory is still safer, after all, this place belongs to someone else."

Swinging his legs, Julian thought about it and agreed. If others could plant a hidden camera here once, they could certainly do it a second or a third time. It would be much safer to return to their own home, where they could do whatever they pleased.

Furthermore, it was entirely reasonable for Ethan to change his residence now. After everything that had unfolded since yesterday, they no longer needed to act as if they were completely oblivious to this scheme.

"Where are my shoes?"

Julian lightly kicked his toes against the chest of the man sitting below him. Ethan had no objections, instead, he caught Julian’s foot and pressed a kiss to it: "You will not need them."

Then Ethan stood up, took a large suit jacket from his own suitcase, draped it over Julian, and lifted Julian completely into his arms, boldly walking out just like that.

Julian did not seem to object at all. He wrapped his arms around the man’s neck and snuggled closely against Ethan’s body, letting himself be entirely swallowed up by Ethan’s large jacket. The familiar scent enveloping him from all sides made Julian let out a satisfied breath, and he murmured: "Are you not afraid of people laughing at us?"

"I am carrying my own wife. It is neither illegal nor immoral, so why would anyone laugh at me?"

Julian also felt there was absolutely nothing wrong with it.

From the very beginning, Julian had always hoped to find someone he could entrust his entire life to, allowing him to simply let go and not worry about a single thing. All he wanted was to eat and sleep all day, and then act spoiled with his lover. His previous life had not fulfilled that dream, and in this life, he had gone around in circles for a long time, engaging in battles of wits and schemes, before finally recognizing his own heart.

Since he was being pampered, he should just lie still and enjoy it; why should he overthink things?

He would enjoy it as much as he could, for he knew those detestable people would not leave him in peace for too long. But if given the choice, Julian truly wanted to just lie around and live a lazy life.

Ethan did not carry Julian down to the garage but instead walked straight out the main entrance, where his car was already parked and waiting. Sitting in the driver’s seat was Colin Grant. Helen Lloyd followed behind them, and behind her were two bodyguards, each pulling a suitcase.

Those were Julian’s and Ethan’s belongings. When they left the room earlier, Helen had stayed behind to pack everything up and handle the arrangements.

Ethan swaggered right along, carrying Julian directly into the vehicle. Because of the livestream incident yesterday, quite a few paparazzi from the media had gathered outside the hotel doors this morning. As soon as they saw the two men appearing so openly, the reporters immediately raised their cameras, snapping pictures incessantly. Julian and Ethan paid them no mind.

Seeing that they were not being stopped, one journalist even tried to approach them to ask questions, but was quickly blocked by Ethan’s bodyguards.

The boss had ordered to let the media take pictures freely, but they were absolutely not allowed to get close.

Consequently, the paparazzi could only watch with regret as the group split into two cars and drove away, one following the other. But it did not matter; based on the photos they had managed to capture and the events unfolding on the internet this morning, they could already craft a few sensational, eye-catching headlines.

That was just how the media worked; as long as there was fame and clout, they could survive. If they could not secure an interview, writing vague, suggestive articles would do just fine.

At this moment, the two cars drove in a convoy toward the riverside villa area near the center of Kensington City. Helen and the bodyguards rode in one car. In Ethan and Julian’s car, aside from Colin serving as the driver, there was no one else, and the privacy partition in the middle had already been raised.

Julian was currently sitting on Ethan’s lap, his legs spread out and resting on either side of the seat. He wrapped his arms around the man’s neck, and they passionately shared a deep kiss.

It seemed that confessing one’s feelings could cause a surge in happy hormones, making it much easier for feelings of arousal to be ignited. What started as just a simple, affectionate embrace ultimately turned into an irresistible urge to press each other down for a deep, lingering kiss.

Julian was wearing black silk pajamas, while Ethan was dressed in a white dress shirt and tailored trousers. While they were entangled with each other, Julian did not notice the metal buckle on Ethan’s belt pressing uncomfortably against his body.

So, Julian stopped kissing and pouted: "It hurts me."

As he spoke, he slipped his hand downward, grabbing Ethan’s belt between the two belt loops and tugging at it: "I do not like this."

"Be good." Ethan’s voice was already incredibly hoarse. The confession from earlier seemed to have flipped a switch inside Julian. He had become more spoiled, more reliant, and even more seductive. He was like a little imp wanting to suck away all of Ethan’s soul. Just a simple kiss was enough to make the man’s erection ache: "I will take it off for you in a little bit once we get home, alright?" 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

"Hmph."

It was just a petulant sound, yet it seemed enough to steal someone’s soul away. It was true that love could make people degenerate. No wonder there had always been the saying that a beautiful face was the root of disaster.

Ethan felt that Julian alone was enough to bring ruin to a nation and its people.

When the car arrived at the villa, it drove straight into the garage. Ethan carried Julian straight into the main house. He did not need to give many instructions; after all, he had Helen there. With her handling things, Ethan felt completely at ease.

Upon entering the living room, they saw Kieran Talbot already comfortably seated there, reading something on his phone while sipping coffee, looking very relaxed. Seeing Ethan carrying Julian inside, Kieran raised an eyebrow: "Was last night really that wild?"
