Chapter 84: The injured man.

The woman could not take her eyes of the boy who was lying down on the bed. In all the years of motherhood and taking care of her children she had never imagined that this day would come as well when her son was injured so much he could not even open his eyes.It hurt her. Her mind body and soul all of them were in turmoil and she did not know# what to do.

"He is your son." She whispered in a broken voice, on the verge of crying. "How could do that to your child?"

The man patted her shoudlers and gripped them from behind. "They do not know who he was. He is far from the change which is why they were able to overpower him otherwise he was more powerful than the lot of them."

She smiled slightly. "Yes, my son is powerful but what now?"

The man did not answer her. He just stop there thinking about it as well. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

What should they do? The child was in pain, perhaps he might be on his way to do that for all they knew but it was all they could do. All they could do was wait.

"This is not fair. He has not yet met the one and she is not even aware of existence and there is no way that we can get it from her."

"It is the way it is," her husband spoke up, "do you remember what happened when you had first met me. From now where you have landed yourself right in front of my eyes and no one could even tell that you were any different from my princess."

After fast memories would bring them happiness but this particular one only brought them sorrow. For her she knew that she would never go back to the life she had prior to their marriage and also that the world considered her husband to be dead.

"What life it is that you keep on remembering where none of us have ended happy now? We cannot appear in front of our children and if we do the whole world with throw stones at us."

"I’d protect you from them." He kissed her shoulder making her laugh.

"Would you now?" She teased but then sighed. It was the sight of her son in a pitiful state lying down in a bed like a vegetable that hurt her the most. No matter how much she tried to be positive about it all all she could think was him and he might die like this.

"When is she coming?" But then changed her question, "Is she even coming?"

"She does not know where he has to begin with which means that she might not come." He sighed and closed her eyes. "It can. . .happen."

"What can happen!" She hissed sharply her eyes flashed in anger at her husband for the words he had spoken. "You seem to know what you’re talking about but I don’t how bout you tell me what exactly does that happen?!"

He eyed her from the corner of his fist. It was true that mothers of a shared a bond with their children special than the one father is shared. He knew that his what happens to his wife for which she had to pay the price now for stop but that was his son to and he was bearing the consequences too.

"Why are you acting like this is only hurting you? He is my child and I am just helpless as you are. Even more so in the whole situation. I do not know how he is going to be converted but all I know is he requires a special person who are we not aware of. All we can do is trusted system for at which I am not seeing the results of!" He snapped.

His wife only grew angrier. "My sister and her husband only helping us because we cannot get out of here! It is because of you wife that we have to go into hiding and look at our son when he is only at his worst. When was the last time when you had seen him smiling and thriving?!"

"Do you really have to do this?" Her sister entered with a sigh. "You son is lying there all enjoyed and boost probably on the brink of that and you to our giving us of the world depends on it." She tskesd, "no one wants to hear what you have to say to each other so why don’t be given to get a private place where no one can hear ths two of you."

"Aren’t you sunshine okay?" The father snapped. "Is she coming? Do you know her?"

"Did you even get to talk to her?" The the mother wind looking at a child who had still not work in up after days of constant treatment. "Sister, he is still not showing any signs of waking up even after constant treatment that we have been giving him. Is our blood not enough?"

The younger one sighed and moved to her nephew. She sat on the bed beside him and patted his head lovingly. "He will be fine." She commented knowing but in the end it would be them who would be winning.

She took hold of a nephews rest and counted the breath cito. His heart was beating weak and she knew that his time was near if they did not hurry up but getting the blood was going to be difficult because they would have to bring her here and she was not aware about any of this.

"She would be leaving."

"Not before she has doem the job!" The woman spat, "I would not let her leave. Unless my son is perfectly fine just the way he was before!"

The giunger sister only felt annoyed. "I understand the concerns you feel for your son but I will make sure that he is fine and in due time I will get the blood also for his condition. It is only a matter of time City enters the afterlife forever."
