Chapter 59: The prince’s desire - I

~Prince Lysar~

••

Riding into the night in the deepest of forests was always a pleasure of his. A guilty pleasure he would rather say given that no one from the Royal council guards or the family approved of him doing so.

His mother hated it.

He was riding from the castle of Melenmore to his own after conducting an audience with the second Princess of the country.

Every country that had been this covered and was capable of having humans step food and live among them he had visited. He had met with the most beautiful women ever seen in the whole wide world yet princess Genevieve was a beauty to behold.

She had long black hair, they had cared for him you buy the shine and the softness could see from afar his hands itched to touch them, to run his fingers through them.

Her skin looks soft, supple ready for the taking. Even though she was sick and her skin was flushed she still managed to look like the most exquisite women he had ever seen.

She watched every expression of has changed and become into a new one as he told her about the new creatures of the night. Something so forbidden and dark arising out of nowhere and breaking through the differences of the kingdom that was famous for its merciless army.

She would have felt ashamed before am eating that his Omi was not enough to fight someone because he knew that the person in front of him would always make him but princess Genevieve on the other hand noded understanding leave assessed the situation and knew that there was nothing that could be done.

A beauty, a sight to behold as she was something he would love to have within his grasp, in his Kingdom and his bed.

Just with him.

"Different?" She repeated after what he said within evident from on her forehead. "Do you mean broken or tortured?"

Lysar was not referred to for the tell her how the girls and the boys looked after they were collected and were found in the growls after months. What amused him more was the fact that she refused to believe him blindly.

She wanted to know the facts. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

And it did come true. Not even a mere week passed that he was watching her sleep in his chambers.

His initial thoughts of him that she had followed him to his own country as she could not do it officially without raising the eyes and suspicions of people but once again he had been proved wrong about her.

She had almost been missed by his side at the port where the wagons stood what a beauty like that could be seen from afar especially when his or her giggle with the manner they had been friends for a long time and another one watching ever the protective gaze.

That was Tristan, that was the man that the princess had feelings for.

This is why the next step that he was going to take was going to be of the utmost importance and because of which he had to make sure that the princess would be away from the men and would never be able to meet him again.

"I’ll go alone." She declared and he soared in his mind. He knew that she would choose the opportunity to go alone inside if he ever forced her to do so. The Princess was brave and she did not wear any kind

She was still naïve and stupid because there was a time when you were supposed to talk that and where you were supposed to sit down. She on the other hand did not know the difference between the two.

The bravery, his sighed and assigned her his most trusted guard because he knew that she would choose to go alone.

Taking a deep breath she took the first steps forward into the market of horrors that she claimed was the most dangerous place ever. The Prince watched them walk in and as soon as she disappeared he moved into the back of the market.

His brother stood there, the third crowned Prince, Hixson.

"We own all the lands of the country and you bring me here to talk about someone?" He grunted. "Are our chambers no longer safe for us to talk?"

Lysar ignored him. "Have you ever height of princess Genevieve?"

Prince Hixson pursed his lips a little bit and then nodded eventually after thinking hard for a few moments. "She is the second princess of Melenmore, promised to the country of Austria as the future queen."

"Yes, but what else?" Lysar probed.

Hixson frowned. "Also the fact that she has never been seen by any one of us? Every method women are usually seen on the day that she is married because she is already been promised to another." Hixson shrugged. "I have never seen her which is why do not care how she looks like also the fact that her dying countries, not my concern are given that the kingdom of Astria will help her survive."

Lysar sighed and looked at the sight in front of him. The market of flesh was established at the ends of the mountains which was a beautiful sight over the role as it overlooked the greenery and after a while the northern mountains of snow.

Beautiful yet unreachable. Just like the situation at hand he had with the princess.

"I find friends Terence to be a fool hiding behind his mother’s skirts," Lysar commented. "I have never seen him in a gathering without her. She is always accompanied by her child and speaking for him, the future king."

Hixson laughed at that. A dark laugh it was. "Must be enjoying his mother’s shirts for all we know. After all, everyone knows that men rarely visit their harem." Lysar scoffed. That was not a lie.

"Which has better resources than Austria even though we do not show that outside of the country." He turned to his brother, "Be honest with me if I ask the princess to break the proposal with the prince of Austria would you support me in the war?"

Hixson’s eyes snapped to his brother’s within moments.
