We descended the stairs of the grand library and moved to the lower levels of it which were open to the commoners for reading and information.

It was common for Royal palaces to open their libraries to the common people to have a read which was taken advantage of by only a few because not many bothered to learn to read and write and who did, not all of them had the time of the leisure to come to the library and read different books or manuscripts.

I had no fear of someone recognising me because no one knew me in my kingdom much less and another Kingdom where I had never stepped in officially before. Therefore when we first stepped down to the lowest level of the library from the highest one, it was the prince who got the acknowledged bows of honour and respect. I, on the other hand, got them only because I was standing next to him which means that I was someone belonging to a high post.

"Now what?" The prince drawled behind me as soon as we stepped down. "What makes you think that this is the right place to search for anything?" One thing that I had learnt in the few days that I had spent with the prince was that he was an extremely negative person. And he hated to wait which only made me want to make him wait further.

I would keep that in mind, I thought as I bit back a smile.

I bit my lip as I looked at the different sections. They had surely invested a lot in the library. The library fear was surely bigger than that of belonging to the royals back in my country. It only made me feel so small as everything was too grand as compared to my country which I had thought to be better than all. We lacked in a lot of things, as I now realised.

I answered his query, "The materials that we were going through was written by scholars who did not believe anything that they did not see or experience themselves. We have to look for something more common for a common man, to report and write about which we would find in the section which is open to them," I pointed my finger above, "There we would only find things that have been seen by everyone and heard of. Here we should find what only a few know of." I hopped on and back of the heels of my feet and turned to look at him.

He was healing his head. "Why would someone write it here?"

"Because that someone, as you said was believed by no one so he ended up writing about it and submitting it to will library so if anyone ever had a similar experience they could see that it has been a repeat of history." I turned around, "Now, who do we call for help?"

He glanced at me before nodding and snapping his fingers. Two, I suppose, librarians stepped forward which I had failed to notice the following us in the first place and waited for his command.

"Anything remotely so, related to. . " He struggled to find the right words and looked at it.

"Mythical creatures?" I suggested and looked at them. "Anything that says anything about creatures is not seen by anyone? Myths perhaps? Or out of imagination?"

The woman appeared to be thinking and the man answered. "I do not think so—"

"Actually," the woman spoke up shyly, "There are a few but at the very back of the library because no one ever asks for them so we had to change their places." She revealed with her eyes down, "I—We can take you there or bring the materials here if you want because that area is not ad clean."

Before the prince could talk I agreed. "No, we would go there instead." And walked past him making him follow us.

The man hurriedly clean to seeds forest and then a whole table so that we would not have to set interest and the woman brought the manuscript which seemed to be quite old and kept them on the table.

"This is it." She said as she kept them down. "This is all we have, for now, I would continue looking through them so that they find something else I could bring them to you but I believe that there are nota apart from this."

The prince looked at the material in front before waving them off and took a seat beside me.

Why was he coming so close?

I grabbed the first manuscript and started reading. The handwriting was messy and one could tell that this person knew how to read and write but did not do this that often.

’A strange thing it was. A man and a full of hair beast. He was eating something. An animal I think. I do not much more. I am not sure of what it was but it must be because I was drunk last night as it cannot be possible.’

Huh, so I was right. Also, his handwriting was horrible. He was mistaken for a lot of words but I could make it out.

"Look here," the prince slid a small piece of paper and a read through its contents. "It says this they saw a man walking into the public bathroom and then what appeared to be was a big dog race out." He revealed and I glanced at him before going back to read what was written there.

"Now we can easily assume that the big dog was the wolf and they changed inside a public bathroom but what I do not understand is How could they afford to do that and why the hell is this here!"

"For the exact reason that I told you about," I murmured and looked around more. One caught my eye.

’I feel like someone is following me. Every day I see a man coming behind me whenever I leave the house even if is early in the morning. I know for a fact that abductioisre going on around me and I feel that it would happen to me as well which is why I would like to tell to anyone who is out there, they follow you. Beware.’

What? I gulped as I read it again. Did they follow the targeted women’s first before abducting her?

"These people feared that they would be considered crazy by their own so they left little pieces of information written on papers to make sure that if anyone ever had been to the same they would not be alone." I tapped at the table as I still focused on the page in front of me, "I guess, we know that people have seen them. So they are no longer to be considered a myth."

Though I had to phrase this people for actually having the courage to come forward and write it instead of telling people. They had conveyed in a better way with food also not hold them accountable.

Lysar nodded and then added his thoughts. "These were the only people that could read and write and let me tell you that not many in a country can do that which is why I believe that there is much more than meets the eye over here." He looked away to where the public sat reading. "They must be much more living and breathing in silence since they would not know what to do and where to write about that happening."

I looked at him and understood his words. To think about it, maybe the time she comes.

"Prince Lysar," I called the man, "I would be needing to leave the palace tomorrow for the end that I was saying in. Marilyn needs to come with me and one more by centre but make sure that this next stage can be passed easily as well."

"What?" He looked at me as if I had from crazy. "I had brought you here, forcefully so, but also because of your protection for stop do you know what would happen if anyone came to know who you truly were?"

I sighed harshly. I had never existed in my palace to know what will happen in the harsh world but I had experienced it twice, so yes, "I am well aware. Because of which, I will come back after fetching Marilyn and my companion." I answered truthfully. I had no intentions of running away.

He growled looking away and then narrowed his eyes at me. "You should be back. I won’t let you get in harm’s way."

"After putting me in so yourself?" I rebuked. He had abducted me.

He didn’t comment on that, rather said, "And who is it that you talked of someone else who would make sure that this stage is passed easily?" He said as if mocking my Tristan. That made me uneasy.

I tilted my chin up and stood up. "The man who knows better and more than you," I answered and watched his expressions change.

"Better than me?" He repeated and I nodded.

"Yes, sir." I smiled. "I would say, he is more concerned about your country than yourself because," I waved my hand at the table, "He knows more than the both of us. Now, if you would excuse me." I turned around and walked away to my room, not paying attention to what he said behind me.
