The Princess's Dangerous Vampire Mate-Chapter 136: A letter, the letter - II
’The princess of Melenmore has betrayed the treaty because of which we have not acknowledged the wedding and the treaty has been cancelled.
However, if you continue to give shelter to the princess we shall announce your country as an enemy of us and would be forced to demolish the entire Kingdom. We are giving you the time of three weeks to make sure that the princess is handed over to us. Alive.
Queen Anastasia. ’
I placed the Scroll down.
Forget me starting over in this Kingdom, the queen had won the kings to throw me out of his country and into hers otherwise she would launch an attack on his kingdom. Now it was only a matter of time before Darius would ask me to leave.
"Oh my god," the feeling of helplessness once again settled in my chest. My knees gave up and I fell to the ground and the chair hit the ground as my back hit it.
My back took a hit and a nasty pain came to it.
"What?" I gripped my head. "She wants to go to war with the kingdom that is giving the shelter? But—" I gasped.
She . . The treaty no longer existed which meant that the kingdoms no longer had the harmony in them that the ones had which meant that my country was prone to attack by them.
But the only thing was it was not just prone to attack, Queen Anastasia was going to attack my country.
"Oh my," I pulled my hair. Still did not know what happened and even if father had told her she would not pay much attention to this matter because I was not there for her to take care of. Estelle would never think of Queen Anastasia like this but since I had talked to Queen Emalia it was in my knowledge about what lengths could Queen Anastasia go to to get what you wanted.
Especially when she had told me to kill the present girl and her unborn child together. The queen was that harsh for a baby then it was no wonder what she would do with the exception of me being a whore.
She would kill my entire family for the betrayal that never occurred.
I had to do something.
I felt something touch my shoulders and immediately pushed the hand away.
"My lady," Anna stepped back and was still kneeling down in front of me. She looked scared. "My lady are you alright? Should I call someone?"
I shook my head and closed my eyes. This happened many times before. I could not let this get to me. I have to take control of the situation better.
I controlled everything and opened my eyes, I smiled at her and soothed my hair. Standing up I parted my dress and retouched the folds.
"Excuse me for that slight fall and one can be quite clumsy when they are not expecting it." I replied cheekily. "Would you mind if I die early and have an afternoon nap? I feel quite unwell." I whispered to her and started on my way out as she followed behind me.
"Should I bring you something? Would you like to have some tea or warm water?" She asked and for the first time I did not see an obnoxious expression on her face rather a concerned one.
And I take advantage of exactly knowing what I was able to do.
"Perhaps some tea. If you would be so kind as to put some Ginger in it as I seem to be getting a headache. Also, a blanket or two." I winced and she nodded immediately, walking out.
By the time she returned I had already opened my hair and buried myself into the blankets that were already there.
She placed the blankets on me and dropped me up on the pillows before keeping the small tea table ahead of me where it was kept.
"Ring the bell, my lady. If you need anything please do not hesitate."
I nodded and gave her a tired smile.
I watched as she walked and the doors closed after her. In my mind I counted to fifty before taking off the tea table keeping it on the ground and I walked to the door and locked it shut from the inside.
Now in any castle whatever room it might be the sheets were numerous which should have helped me from the third floor. I took off the blankets and counted them. The entire room along with the sheets in the closet were thirty in total.
Oh thank you God.
Without thinking twice about the plan that I have formulated in my mind I started twisting and turning the bedsheets and tying the corners into knots connecting them to each other like a big rope.
Usually after breakfast the servants would be focused on the cleaning tasks along with the others which is why I have to wait for the early afternoon for them to sit down for breakfast before us.
And I waited with my dear on the door to the servants. Those who always were very light and footsteps could be heard easily which is why when I did not hear anything I opened the door slightly to see the hallway completely empty. I knew enough by my life at the palace that it was never supposed to be empty and one could always be seen at the descending or ascending the stairs which meant that they had finally gone over for lunch.
I threw the covers down and with great difficulty, I got down from climbing at. I knew where the north was and on the south of the palace was going to be the stables where the horses were kept. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
My guess was right and I took one. The heavy cloak rested on my shoulders protecting myself from the cold as a road out into The night from the Jungle and then shifted slightly so that I could keep track of the palace.
I had to tell my sister or at least have someone tell her about what was coming for the kingdom. The king but also not have the chance to shove me out of his Kingdom.
