The Princess's Dangerous Vampire Mate-Chapter 119: A new him - II
I gulped, " it is simply not possible for one to change the eye colour just to their own words. Also no one is born with red as a colour."
He laughs at my words and I cannot help but stare in shunned silence. What was laughable about what I had said? For me it was all gravely serious because red was simply not a colour with whom one was born.
"It is no laughable matter." I said incredulously. He was laughing whereas I was completely serious about this matter.
"No, no," he said as he calmed down, "I suppose it is not. Yes genevieve, the colour of my life changed and they had changed at will and they are never changing back."
I shook my head, " that is not what I asked. I asked you how did the change in the first place question mark and remember your eyes to be a dark colour of grey."
"Indeed, they were." He nodded, " just like you like the fruits before my eyes but dark grey as well."
I blushed at that. My cheeks boomed in color in embarrassment. I looked away from him.
"Why tell me now? You must answer for the satisfaction of my curiosity as well." I could hear the teasing in his voice.
I looked at him narrowed atI had managed to spot another change in him. " You were never like this before Tristan."
The emotion in his eyes was pulled back and all of a sudden I was greeted with a bitterly familiar sight of the emotionless ise. Now I preferred him teasing me over having those emotionless eyes.
"You were never like this before, Genevieve or should I say Layla." He countered, " have I ever asked you about why you just lied about your true identity to me?"
" That was a personal decision that I did for my security. I have to lie about who actually was."
"And who were you truly?" He leaned forward and placed his elbows on his knees as his hands now supported his chain. That alone made upper arms tighten and become more bulkier in Nature.
I shook my head off the thought. What was I beginning to think about? 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
"I was princess Genevieve of Melenmore before and now I am princess Genevieve married to Prince Terence of Austria."
There was a shift in the room or so I felt. The room had grown significantly colder than I could not help but shiver was even though I was wrapped in a thick blanket. The red eyes seemed to grow more dangerous and there was a dangerous thing to see. This seems to grow darker and I wonder how I noticing it at all because they would just read come on now blood red.
"Tristan?" I whispered out, "what is happening?"
"You are not married," he stated, "especially to Prince Terence of all." He said and stated the name with such disgust.
"Why not?" I asked, slightly when the mind of challenging him while at it. "I was married to him in front of all and the archbishop along with the priest. Everyone who was there to witness the wedding."
He shook his head. "Yes but if you remember there was a treaty that was to be signed by both of you implementing the marriage had now been established and the treaty will now begin that there school is going into your country to make it better but now that it happened which means you are not yet fully married to him." He replied and I felt myself grow colder than before, "this is just a stamp of marriage. An incomplete marriage is nothing better than two single individuals promising each other to marry."
I scoffed at the words. "You seem to know a lot about marriage that was mine and between someone else. why are you so interested in me being married to someone else whether or not It was a Sham."
He jaw clenched at that. " Eat your food." He said as he pushed the plate slightly towards me which I had kept previously on the bed and then stood up to walk out.
"No, wait." Immediately told the blanket off me only to jump back in fright when I found his face suddenly in front of me a few inches away.
I gasped at the suddenness of it! "You!" I said as a god is the next where’s full stop his face was literally two to three or may be five inches away from me. How did he reach here so quickly when he was near the door?
"Yes? Me?" He mocked my shock. "I said I want to eat and finish everything on your plate, Genevieve. You need rest and energy to deal with what is next."
"No I won’t." I said back with equal ferocity as he did. He was not in control of the situation and I would not have him think otherwise. "You must tell me what is going on immediately. I’m not going to stay here a moment longer and I will return home."
"What home?" He mocked me again. "Do you have a home? What makes you think that your father and sisters would be able to accept you back? Even if your sister provides you with a house, how long it is that you are saying the gods of your country order when you supposedly married into b find you?"
I was quiet at that, I said the fire inside me slowly turned to dust.
"Yes, I thought so." He said with the satisfying smile on his face as he leaned back and stood up properly with his back straight. "And as for your thoughts regarding not staying here and leaving as fast as you can, I reckon you should check what’s outside that window." He pointed to the window where red drapes had been drawn. I glanced at him before leaving the bed and walking to where he had said.
It seemed so obvious for the first time in my life to draw the curtains away and as I did it I was only met with everything white.
