Chapter 117: The Vampire - II

He watched her sleeping form. She had not woken up in days because he had simply not wanted her. It was too dangerous for her to awaken in this scenario and it would only cause harm which he would never want to happen.

How beautiful this woman was, he wondered. Not only did she have a beautiful face and velvety hair she also had been blessed with a good personality along with a strong mind and will. It was something that he knew the goddess had bestowed on him in sheer luck.

Actually amazed him how she had thought that she could run away from him once again after he had allowed her to walk away for the first time. He chuckled slightly as you remember that when she first saw him when he had woken up for the first time during his transformation she had immediately noticed the changes in him. How clever and observing when she was being someone so human.... So weak.

"Brother," he watched as his companions stepped into the room but did not look at his princes and beloved. The man also maintained a respectful distance from the new couple, "we are ready to travel again. Palanquin has been fixed."

He nodded, "Tell me Allan, How is her friend?"

Allan’s eyes Twinkled with happiness, "Dead, But I know she will be waking up soon. I can feel the blood and the changes happening in our body. I cannot wait to meet her in the same form as we are."

Tristan smiled, so could he. His eyes moved to the beautifully sleeping woman on the makeshift bed. Soon With her permission he would be able to turn her into a creature of the night as well and she would belong to him forever. For eternity, they will be together.

He picked her up in his arms and placed her into the palanquin. He made sure to surround her with a lot of soft cushions.

"Let us go." He announced and with their supernatural Speed the cover distance faster than any human could ever. No wagon or any kind of horse compared with the speed they had, which is why by nightfall they had stepped into the snow of the northern kingdoms.

They slowed down and started walking instead of running. Soon, the dark palace appeared in front of them and they slowed down even more. The palanquin was placed down and Tristan carried Genevieve in his arms the rest of the journey.

It was blissful to have her in his arms.

There was a special room assigned for hair fall stop depraved of every sharp object and was placed on the highest floor of the palace. It did nothing but cut all of her escape points. She could not escape from the window which only gave her one exit, that was the main role of the room and that was where the guards had been placed to look out for her.

He placed her down comfortably on the bed and covered her with a thick blanket. It was going to be cold for the human body and he was prepared with every woolen item of clothing he could find.

"I was not joking when I said that was the last time you were running away from me." He caressed her hair, "perhaps with time you will entertain the idea of asking together for eternity. Until then I shall wait patiently."

He stared at her for a few moments more before moving out of the room eventually. The guards placed did not need any sleep or rest.

"There you are," Darius’ loud voice echoed in the room and made him wince slightly. "I have been waiting for you. Do you not understand the concept of reaching on time? Is it to foreign for your vampire self?"

" Do not get me started on manners etiquette wolf," he muttered, not bothering to raise his voice like the other man in the room, "everyone knows you eat, hunt and dress like a savage whereas we do it with grace."

Darius shrugged, " Well I never denied that." After saying that he took a seat as well. Both of the supernatural yet completely different species sat down in front of each other and the atmosphere of the room turned grim.

"How is your made? I suppose a lot of damage might have been done."

Tristan shook his head, "we were watching out for her. One of my brother’s mates gave the idea of dying that night instead of The Princess. She took the fall and the human soldiers retreated back to the palace instead of looking further for the princess."

Darius, the werewolves, nodded understandingly, "It was brave for her to take a painful death when she could have had an easy one. I suppose you will always owe her for this."

"I will." He answered immediately. He knew he would give his life to Marilyn. She has sacrificed a lot and went through a lot while deciding to give her life for genevieve. He would never forget such a sacrifice made by her.

"Now to the topic at hand," Tristen started talking about the conversation which had left both of them in one room.

Darius shook his head, "You either need to turn her into one of you or you need to make her fall in love with you or at least marry you in human terms for us to proceed with any of what we are planning. We can only hold the kingdoms for so long. You need to speed up the process first."

"It’s going to take time!" He snapped, " what makes you think that she would accept a creature of the night! Someone who sucks blood out of the people to carry on his own life? The first thing that she is going to say to me is kill myself!"

Darius scoffed, " it was you who wanted to appear human in front of hair for the first time. I helped you as much as I could but now when it concerns my species along with your not going to let your breast care for sympathy love. Take her right now and she one day would forgive you for it." He stood up and sped out the room leaving Tristan alone in his thoughts.

Perhaps it was time that his Genevieve woke up from her deep slumber.
