Chapter 2138: Tearing A Hole

Rowan poured almost a hundred percent of his Origin into his right hand, as his body tore through space, slowly reaching out towards the blade with his hand, aware that the barrier above was only a few miles away.

A few miles was near instant with the speed of Rowan and this blade light, but to him, this instant was stretched to hours... years.

"Reach.... Reach.... Reach!!" he screamed inside of him, and finally, at the moment the tip of his finger touched underneath the blade light, the edge of the blade touched the shield.

Rowan, Primordial Light barely heard the beginning of a massive blast and an explosion of light before he blacked out for a moment, but a few moments later, he regained his consciousness and found himself buried deep inside one of the Origin Realms.

For a Primordial to black out meant that their Origin had been severely damaged, and if this were any other Primordial, they would have perished, but he was able to hold the fragments of his shattered Origin together and stopped it from slipping into the cold hands of End.

Rowan was able to watch what had happened a moment before through the consciousness he shared with the other Incarnations. A massive sun was shining above; it was the result of the blade detonating as it touched the shield... he had failed.

For an area that stretched for more than a billion light-years, a massive hole had been made in the barrier, and Rowan could only stagger to his feet and find his way from the lower dimensions of this Origin Realm to outside, where a major war awaited him.

Although Rowan may have failed to stop the blade from reaching the shield, his actions ensured that the blade light that would have sliced the entirety of the shield in two was only able to tear a relatively small hole through it.

Rowan emerged to the highest dimension of the Origin Realms, and he looked above him at the blazing light.

The combination of his power and the strange force within the blade had created a sun that was so hot it would vaporize Primordial-level beings, and it was the only thing stopping the flood of abominations from entering the Origin Realms.

However, this grace period was short as the horde poured themselves into the furnace, and as more of them perished, the heat from the sub began to diminish.

In a few hours, it would vanish, and they would have free rein to enter the Origin Realms. However, as terrifying as that would be, it was nothing to the hidden dangers inside the Origin Realms... the blade light had emerged from the Origin Realm of Serene Ascension, and Rowan, alongside the other Incarnation, began to gather around the realm.

Before the descent of the horde above, they had to take care of this threat, or more disruptions could be caused.

As the Incarnations headed towards the Realm of Serene Ascension, the Primordials began to shift their defenses towards the area of the breach.

Battle lines were drawn, and still, they did not anticipate how quickly the sun above would fall.

One moment it was blazing with a white light that was slowly growing dim, but then it suddenly turned red, and at its center, multiple massive beings the size of universes pushed through. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

Many of them perished, but their death only accelerated the end of the sun. What was descending from above were the foul children of Eldrithor, Primordial Chaos.

They were his Paradox Behemoths, and every one of them had reached the Primordial level, and they were the few among the hosts that could tear through this sun. They resembled six-armed colossi, and they had weapons that were made of "what might have been."

Every single swing severed probability, causing reality itself to fork. In this manner, they were able to tear through the power of the sun, although a lot of them had perished for their efforts.

With a final roar of defiance, these Paradox Behemoths collapsed to dust and ash, but behind them came an endless swarm of horror.

However, something spectacular happened as the flood of abomination crossed through the barrier and entered the Origin Realm. The lifeforce of most of them was instantly extinguished, and from a ravenous horde whose howls could be heard for as far as you could travel, there was silence as they began to collapse into ash.

It was as if there was an invisible grinder in the air that was turning their bodies into ash as they crossed the line, and except for the Primordial level beings among them who could only roar in defiance as they were severely weakened, any of the Ancient Primordial’s horde that breached the gap through the shield of the Origin Realm collapsed into dust.

The Origin Realm had nurtured a lot of life, but it was primarily created to become a field of war, and while the horde were outside the shield they could not feel the domain that covered the entire realm, but the moment they entered the sphere of that domain, the clash of Origin and End inside their bodies was enough to turn them to ash.

The Origin Realms were already powerful when they were created, and as more life was born inside them, especially the Primordials, the powers of each realm increased.

Origin grew stronger with life, and End grew stronger with Death. In the last hundred million years, life had proliferated across the entire Origin Realm, and Eos had helped it along by scouring all of Existence and rescuing as many Soul Origins as he could, ensuring they were resurrected inside the Origin Realms.

This action might have revealed a loophole that was used by his enemies to invade the Origin Realm, but Eos could only drink this particular poison to cure this thirst. If he wanted the strength of his Origin Realms to grow, he needed more life inside of them.

The weakened, corrupted Primordial creatures were snipped to death by the Primordials of the Origin Realms, but the problem was that each death by these corrupted Primordials released a vast cloud of miasma that was the purest Essence of End.

For a while, this Essence of screaming in pain, showing a trillion faces as the air of the Origin Realms boiled it to nothing, but with more deaths, the power of the Essence of End began to increase, and a small space was being carved in front of the barrier that was pushing against the influence of the Origin Realms.
