Chapter 671 - Sundering

Back on the flying ship, Han Wu’s Machine God Avatar was working on increasing the flying ship’s speed with Kerry. This upgrade would allow the flying ship to travel 40% faster than before.

Suddenly, the Machine God Avatar sensed something.

“What’s wrong? Did you sense something bad?” Kerry asked.

The Machine God Avatar flashed an elegantly standard smile that showed eight pearly white teeth. While in Han Wu’s divine realm, he had learned that this gesture would bring his friends closer to him.

“The transmigrated Divine Soul found Jing Jing and Qin Shuang. There’s a bit of trouble, but he can deal with it.”

Kerry was glad that Han Wu turned out to be right. If not for him, Qin Shuang and the others would’ve been gone for good. With the transmigrated Divine Soul guiding them, they could head straight to the source in the Giant Shadow Civilization. Everything was looking good.

The news soon spread to the rest of the ship. When Sun Qingnian got the message, he quickly crawled out of bed. Beside him lay a beautiful lady. If Han Wu were here, he would’ve recognized the lady as none other than Lina, their prep class teacher from before they had officially enrolled in the Imperial College.

The Imperial College had also assigned her to this mission, and Sun Qingnian got to fulfill the dream he had from their prep class days.

“Be careful while leaving,” Lina reminded, rubbing her eyes. “I don’t want anyone figuring out our relationship.”

“Don’t worry, baby, I’ll be careful.”

“Call me teacher when we are outside,” she corrected.

“I understand, baby.” Sun Qingnian assured her, putting on his clothes and carefully opening the door before scurrying away.

With that, Lina went back to sleep.

Unfortunately, this new information made little difference to the group, as they were still extremely far from the Giant Shadow Civilization and would need a long time to get there.

Back in the Giant Shadow Civilization, the giants had destroyed the Giant Wood Village, sparking a full-fledged war between the giants and the ninjas. The remaining seven ninja villages allied to defeat the giant army.

Meanwhile, Hanwu, the mastermind behind the war, had gone to the Giant Kingdom, the birthplace of the nine Giant Sages. Due to various reasons, only the Progenitor Giant remained. The others had left to find their own places to thrive. Their recent victory over Giant Wood Village, however, prompted a gathering of the Giant Sages.

In the massive palace, Hanwu and the Progenitor Giant sat opposite each other. Hanwu looked positively tiny compared to the massive Progenitor Giant, but the pressure exuding from him was no weaker.

This was actually because the other eight Giant Sages besides the Progenitor Giant were all in Hanwu’s body at this moment.

“Progenitor, victory is at hand. What are you worried about?”

The Progenitor Giant glared contemptuously at Hanwu’s tiny body. “The glory of the giants cannot be achieved with that deplorable body.”

“This is the body of a human, true, but we are in total control. It can be considered as one of the giants now.”

“I cannot agree to such a distorted view. Giants should be the ones to solve the matter of giants. I don’t think this is a good time to conquer the civilization, and I will not activate our final weapon, Sundering, just because of your immature suggestions.”

The eight Giant Sages in Hanwu held a brief discussion and soon agreed to seal the Progenitor Giant in Hanwu’s body with them. Once the nine Giant Sages shared a body, the rest of them could activate the Progenitor Giant’s authority, even without its cooperation.

“In that case, let’s solve this like a giant.” Hanwu stood up and completed a series of seals. The power of the eight Giant Sages turned his body into a hundred-meter-tall giant.

Angered, the Progenitor Giant ordered all the witless giants in the kingdom to turn into Giant Protectors and fight against the rebel. The result was a tragic loss. The combined might of the eight Giant Sages was simply too much for them to overcome.

After defeating the Giant Protectors, the eight Giant Sages manipulated the Four Guardians Seal to drag the Progenitor Giant in, turning it into their neighbour. The addition caused Hanwu’s pressure to increase even further.

“Stomp out civilization!” Hanwu commanded.

The massive outer walls of the Giant Kingdom crumbled to reveal an army of sixty-meter-tall witless giants. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

These were the giants’ strongest trump card, Sundering. The giants’ unified steps sounded like war drums, striking fear in the hearts of their enemies. Their footsteps sundered the very earth itself.

Hundreds of thousands of giants stepped into the sea. Their high body heat evaporated the water, and everything dried up around them. They wouldn’t stop until only giants remained in this civilization.
