The Only Fuel Is Using The D.-Chapter 451 - 450
Lucky 450
"They are coming--!!
The soldiers saw the zombies running to the mass of people. Once infected, these people would start eating more people, and more people would be infected. This process would keep happening until everyone was a zombie.
This was a terrifying ability. A country-level danger.
"Guaahhh!! I don’t want to die! Someone help me!"
The people screamed desperately as they saw the zombies getting closer.
The soldiers started shooting the zombies. They used their Term Attributes too.
However, the only way to stop the zombies was by shooting their heads or making them incapable of moving.
The soldiers had to use powerful guns to incapacitate them. By blowing them to bits. Because the zombies would try to move as long as they could.
"Graarrggh!"
The zombies reached the danger line and the battle intensified.
Calix ended up joining the battle.
"Lou take this phone and keep taking pictures. Yuna needs a picture to create a portal."
"Okay!"
The woman behind Calix started taking tons of pictures. That was right, she kept spamming pictures.
Calix used a death-dealing gun. The Benelli M4. The shotgun could blow a person to bits.
His gun didn’t need any bullets because it relied on energy. And Calix had unlimited energy to use.
He started pulling the trigger dozens of times every second, sending the zombies to the ground incomplete.
As a man, it was his priority to protect his loved ones. This was a terrifying situation. He didn’t want anything bad to happen to Lou and the child. So Calix was giving his all.
Once his right arm was tired, he was going to switch to the left arm. At this close distance, he didn’t need precise aim. Especially when he had the cheat called aim-bot. He never missed.
This bloodbath kept going on for an hour until the zombies began overtaking the soldiers. Unlike the soldiers who had limited stamina, the zombies were reckless beasts. They would keep running and biting.
The battlesuits that the soldiers wore were slowly getting chipped until the zombies successfully took a bite from them.
No matter how much the soldiers tried to fight back, the zombies didn’t feel pain or fear.
"This is not good..."
Calix realized that the situation was a disadvantage to them.
"Calix! On your left!"
Lou screamed worriedly.
The zombie pounced on him but Calix was protected by a battlesuit. He kicked the zombie and sent it flying across the place.
But because of this one mistake, the zombies found a chance to overpower Calix. They started jumping on him, scratching, biting, and clawing his armor.
"Let go of me, you bastards!"
Calix roared and used a grenade under his feet. He put his trust in his Luck.
Just as he expected, the zombies were obliterated and he was standing still... Although the battlesuit had a crack in the process.
"Looks like I used a strong grenade." 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
"Calix... They are here! They are here!"
Lou screamed in happiness when she saw a portal materializing in the sky.
Four people wrapped in battlesuits showed up and jumped into the horde of zombies.
"... You got to be kidding me."
Calix grinned. He was happy to see them.
The first woman burned the zombies close to her. No one was left alive, she sent them all to hell.
The second woman froze the zombies into statues. Their bodies became brittle and turned into ice dust.
The third was a teleporter who kept jumping around... She was the most helpful one, to be honest. Calix and Lou really needed her right now.
The fourth was a tall woman who was smashing her way into the zombies. Her golden hammer expanded and flattened the enemies.
The four people almost saved the day. Even the soldiers were surprised by their appearances. The four unknown people were super strong, despite not being a Demi-God.
"Calix!"
"Yuna, thank God you guys are here!"
Calix was happy to see them. This battle was one of the hardest he experienced, next to Blood Moon.
"Yuna, take Lou to Dellia. Junian is dangerous for her."
"Okay, I’m actually disobeying the order from the military right now but I don’t care! I love you more than the fat people in the military!"
Yuna opened a portal to the Dellia.
"Calix, what about you?"
Lou already had an idea but she still wanted to ask.
"Lou... I have to find Oni Chichi."
"Please protect yourself. I want our baby to see you."
Lou Viola had an idea about Calix’s feelings for Oni Chichi. She was not sure at first, but now, everything was clear.
"I will always be around." He assured her.
"Okay... I don’t know this Oni Chichi. But make sure you will return alive."
"Thanks, Yuna."
"Scarlett and the others are going to stay with you. I don’t have any power to convince them."
Yuna and Lou disappeared together with the portal. As for the other people, they were dumbfounded when they witness a portal showing and disappearing. The portal only saved one person!
What the fuck!
Why did she not take us!?
This is unfair!
Well, life was never fair.
Calix changed into another battlesuit just to make sure. Then, he sprinted into the horde of zombies to find Scarlett and the others.
"Scarlett, Marianne, Nikki, thank you for helping me."
"... Calix, I don’t know how to explain it but Dellia is actually in a state of Martial Law too."
Marianne and Nikki had ugly expressions.
"Huh? Is there a rabid infection in Dellia too?"
"No... The Obice was attacked by the Cannon twice. The second shot penetrated the Obice. Thankfully, Esmeralda and Bronal changed the trajectory of the shot. Or else Capitolium might be gone now."
"..."
Calix started realizing that this whole situation was weird. As if invisible strings were getting pulled all over the two countries.
"We are not allowed to leave our locations, but we decided to go here to help you."
"I’m sorry Marianne, I didn’t know that."
"Calix, you have to understand that we are doing this for you. Don’t feel sorry... Instead, make sure that you will reward us next time."
"I will surely do."
