The Newlywed's Sweet Honey: Husband, Pamper Me to the Bone!-Chapter 909: Don’t Be the Third Party
Now she finally understood why this little girl wasn’t afraid of her at all. After thinking about it, she realized the girl wasn’t here to be a maid, but to seduce Yan Sijue.
Young girls who choose to be maids might not come from the worst families, but they certainly aren’t well off either. Such girls wouldn’t be ignorant of household chores.
But this Sophie, with her skin as smooth as porcelain and her soft, white hands, was clearly pampered from a young age, unaware of the hardships of the real world.
The few snacks that Mu Yiliang just mentioned, if she were a girl from an ordinary family, she wouldn’t not know a single one. Unless she came from a top-class background, strictly raised, having grown up on meals prepared by Michelin-starred chefs.
Because of her privileged background, she was so brazen and showed no fear of her. At the beginning, during their first encounter yesterday, she had held back a little. Now, knowing she had thoroughly offended Mu Yiliang, she openly displayed her intentions without any pretense.
This only meant she wasn’t afraid of getting fired by Mu Yiliang. If Mu Yiliang fired her here, she had other means to get close to Yan Sijue.
Mu Yiliang judged silently in her heart, but her hands kept moving, and Sophie watched intently.
Ada occasionally glanced into the kitchen, and seeing them laughing and chatting so pleasantly, almost thought she was hallucinating. Once certain she wasn’t seeing things, Ada felt a bit terrified.
Not long after, Mu Yiliang made some spicy noodles and served Sophie a bowl. She happily held it and began eating at the table as if no one else were present.
After a few bites, her pretty face scrunched up, "It’s so spicy!"
Mu Yiliang smiled as she picked up a strand and put it in her mouth, looking satisfied.
"Madam, how can you eat such rough food?" Sophie remarked sympathetically, "I thought with how rich sir is, you would eat something more exquisite. But I’ve been here for two days, and it’s just been these things..."
"Because I love them, and Si Jue tries to cater to my tastes." Mu Yiliang rested her face on her hand, her smile incredibly gentle, "Since your home has such refined dining, you could always go home to eat."
Sophie froze for a moment, then set down her chopsticks with a smile, "But I haven’t achieved my goal yet."
"Little girl, hasn’t anyone in your family told you not to be a third party?" Mu Yiliang’s smile was even sweeter than hers.
"No, my family only taught me that you have to fight for what you want. After all, things like divorce exist in this world, right, Madam?" Sophie blinked, her face looking innocently pure.
Mu Yiliang felt a strong urge to slash that pretty little face.
"You saying that puts me in a difficult position. After all, you’re so cute, I don’t really want to send you away." Mu Yiliang sighed softly.
"Well... Madam, you’re getting older, so I can understand if seeing a girl my age makes you feel threatened. If you send me away, I’ll just have to find other ways." She said while shrugging her hands.
"So you’re saying I have no choice but to let you stay?" Mu Yiliang seemed troubled, "Otherwise, you’ll think I’m afraid of you?"
"Aren’t you afraid?" She giggled, her bright eyes radiating clear provocation, clearly dismissing Mu Yiliang.
She had family background, looks, and youth, so no wonder she was overflowing with confidence.
