"You’re awake." She spoke softly, her voice hoarse.

But she dared not turn back.

"Yiliang." He called in a low voice, his slightly husky and tender tone bringing her a deadly sense of familiarity.

Mu Yiliang was momentarily confused, almost thinking she was hallucinating.

Such a gentle voice, without the slightest trace of hostility or sarcasm... Was it really coming from Yan Sijue?

While she was in a daze, the man had already embraced her from behind, burying his face into the nook of her neck.

"Why get up so early? Sleep a little longer." His voice was extremely tender, and he even gently kissed her earlobe.

The man’s body trembled gently!

He bent down, held her in his arms and sighed softly, "Yiliang, I’m sorry."

"It’s alright, I’m just glad you’re back, as long as you’re here!" She sobbed with joy, clinging to him without letting go, "I know it’s you!"

He gently stroked her long hair, kissing her forehead.
