The Master of Beasts-Chapter 595 - 155: The True Dragon Appears
As they conversed, the two had already stepped out of the void and arrived in front of the cave mansion of Ancestral Master Shen Buhai.
"Buzz."
The plain door opened by itself before the two even knocked.
"Come in."
Shen Buhai, with a kind and approachable demeanor, broad features, and an ethereal presence, was sitting cross-legged on a meditation cushion, the white strands of a whisk hanging from his hand.
"It's because of this little fellow, isn't it?" Shen Buhai beckoned with a smile.
The Jade Token and the Origin Secret Storage emerged from Chen Jiuge, floating between them.
"Strange, strange." Shen Buhai's expression was somewhat curious.
"Ancestral Master, what do you think?" Lou Boxuan asked respectfully.
"It's hard to say. I can barely discern that this Jade Token seems to be the core of a Secret Realm, and the level of that realm is quite high, likely at the Daluo level."
"As for this Origin Secret Storage, it looks rather ordinary, not much different from the ones that appeared in the developed areas before. The only difference is that other storages are one-time use, but this one isn't."
"Alright, Jiuge, tell me about your experiences in the Origin Secret Storage." Shen Buhai shook his head.
Chen Jiuge respectfully agreed, vividly recounting his experiences with the rituals and the Alcohol Immortal in the Origin Secret Storage.
"Rituals to the heavens? This should be an ancient ceremony from the early True Realm. It's said that in the very beginning, the beings of the True Realm were very powerful, but they did not possess immortality. Rituals to the heavens were likely a means of worshipping the Dao, pleasing it, and thereby obtaining life span."
"The Alcohol Immortal seems like a commonplace variation of Secret Storages."
After pondering for a moment, Shen Buhai continued, "Jiuge, do you plan to eradicate the summoning of the Origin Secret Storage?"
"Yes, Ancestral Master." Chen Jiuge responded without hesitation.
"That's simple."
For a Daluo, erasing the mark of the Primordial Realm—where much of the Origin had been lost—was quite simple.
With a slight sweep of the whisk in his hand, the dark yellow Origin Secret Storage turned to ashes and vanished from the eyes of the three.
"That should have erased it. Now, let's talk about the Jade Token."
He narrated...
"I see. I understand now." Shen Buhai nodded slightly, putting away the Jade Token. This Secret Realm might contain a Daluo True Dragon, which Chen Jiuge was not yet suited to encounter, not even his master, Lou Boxuan.
"Thank you, Ancestral Master." Both bowed and took their leave.
Watching them depart, Shen Buhai frowned slightly, "The Child of Destiny, huh? It seems trouble indeed follows along!" 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
Back when Chen Jiuge was in the Spiritual Beast Garden, someone had informed Shen Buhai that his grand-disciple was different from other Disciples of the Five Elements Sect.
Most cultivators ascending from small worlds to the True Realm were Children of Destiny, yet these so-called Children of Destiny often became quite ordinary after reaching the True Realm, so Shen Buhai hadn't paid it much mind. But now it seemed things were indeed a bit different.
"Origin Secret Storage, and this Jade Pendant, a Daluo-level True Dragon, and a mere Heavenly Immortal can encounter so many events!"
....
Five Elements Sect Main Hall
Sect Master Liu Tai repeatedly examined the Jade Token in his hand, frowning, "A True Dragon of the Daluo Realm?"
"Yes, that's what my grand-disciple mentioned." Shen Buhai nodded.
"Interesting, let's have a look then." Without hesitation, Liu Tai activated it.
"Sect Master, shouldn't we prepare?"
"It's just a mere Daluo True Dragon."
Inside the Secret Realm, Gu Zhengyu and the Dark Centipede Elder sat with ragged clothes, both holding a large piece of perfectly cooked roast meat, gnawing at it with a sense of despair written on their faces.
Within such a short period, Gu Zhengyu had become utterly tired of the roast meat in his hands.
"Make do with it; I've been eating it for years, yet it still looks delicious, doesn't it?" The Dark Centipede Elder quietly pointed to the Yellow Dragon, who's eating with relish.
The Yellow Dragon rolled its eyes, "You'll get used to it in the future."
"Right, what should we play today then?"
"Go, or perhaps chess?" The Dark Centipede Elder gingerly suggested.
"Can't we try a different game?"
"Swish!"
The sky cracked open!
"Is that... an exit!" The Yellow Dragon gazed in disbelief.
"Rooooar."
A colossal dragon body soared through the sky, shouting, "Haha, I'm finally getting out!"
"Is this the True Dragon?"
"It seems there's a bit of a difference from the True Dragons in the Demon Domain!"
Liu Tai's figure appeared before the True Dragon, calmly extending a hand, from which boundless golden light shot out, transforming into a massive golden hand that pressed the Yellow Dragon down.
"Too weak, is this truly a Daluo?"
"What nonsense is this!"
The Yellow Dragon was stunned for a moment, and after seeing Liu Tai through the golden hand, it became furious, "You dare court death!"
"Roar."
The roar of the True Dragon!
An invisible sound wave surged through the Secret Realm, uprooting numerous trees and scattering Spiritual Beasts residing in the forest.
"It's the Sect Master!" Gu Zhengyu shielded himself against the wind and turned to yell to the Dark Centipede Elder beside him.
"Forget about the Sect Master; we need to focus." The Dark Centipede Elder quickly performed a hand formula, creating a blue light shield around them, barely protecting the two of them.
As the dragon's roar continued to expand, the light shield gradually dissipated, prompting the Dark Centipede Elder to shout, "No, the difference in power is too vast. Even the aftershocks are too much to bear. Think of something!"
"I know, I know, I'm thinking!" Gu Zhengyu yelled.
Numerous blue Immortal Swords embedded deeply into the ground formed a complex Sword Array, releasing torrents of blue Sword Qi from the Array, weakening the shockwave.
"Haha, now this is interesting!" Liu Tai laughed heartily, his eyes emitting a beam of Spirit Light.
Directly piercing through the sound wave, the purple Spirit Light left deep holes on the Yellow Dragon's body, from which a large quantity of Dragon Blood flowed.
