The Hero of Hypnosis-Chapter 73: Arrogance of a Noble

"I’ll ask again. Who used magic to protect that man?!" The coashman, who was also a knight, asked.

Everyone murmured to themselves, not answering the question. Some snuck into the alleyways to avoid being spotted while some turned around, acting as if they were busy.

"It was him! I saw that man use magic!" A man shouted from the side, pointing at Kai.

Kai gave the man a nasty glare. "What a fucking snitch. Do you know what they do to losers like you in prison? They [REDACTED] is what they do!"

"You there, boy! Come here now!" The knight demanded

Kai blinked, utterly shocked by how the knight referred to him. He tapped his girls on the arm and asked them if he had heard the man correctly.

"I’m not tripping, am I? I swear he called me ’boy’. He said that, right?"

"Oh, he did alright." Gwen was

Amaya protracted her claws, hissing at the man. "Does he want to die?!"

Kai was ready to have heads rolling on the ground, but he had just arrived in the city and didn’t want it to leave a sour taste in his mouth. So, he calmed down, urged his girls to do the same, and approached the knight.

"Yeah, it was me who used magic, what’s the problem?"

"Hmph. You must be a traveler since you don’t know the rules. Magic is forbidden to be used in the city unless for an emergency!"

"So helping an old man from getting killed isn’t an emergency?" Kai asked

"Yeah!"

"That’s right!"

"He saved that man’s life!" The crowd agreed with Kai.

"Do you know who is in that carriage? The person there is worth more than your life!"

Kai scoffed. "I doubt that."

’My dad is a literal god. I think my life is worth more than whoever that shit stain is.’

"You!"

"Carl, please shut up and just get going. I’m going to be late to the party." A male voice inside the carriage urged in an annoyed tone.

"Yes, young master." The knight bowed. "You got lucky today. I better not see your face around here."

"Or what? Gonna throw empty threats at me? Oh wow, I’m scared. I have to run for my life! Pfft, let’s go girls. Hanging around bitches too much might rub off on you."

Gwen and Amaya got into the carriage, but before Kai entered, he stopped.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot." He pointed a finger gun toward the man who ratted him out. "Bang." The man’s head exploded.

"That’s for snitching on me, bitch."

"Wait!" The young man’s voice called out.

"Ugh, what is it now?" Kai turned to see a boy around his age or slightly older step out of his carriage. He wore a silky black button-down dress shirt with gold trimmings and a gold handkerchief.

"You just murdered someone in my presence." The boy pointed out.

"And? You were going to do the same thing." Kai retorted.

"But the thing is that I can. I’m the Lord’s son. The son of Count Boreman Borington."

"Pfft! And what’s your name? Snore?"

"H-How did you know?" Snore asked, slightly shocked.

"No fucking way."

"Anyway, I like that carriage of yours. Give it to me." He tossed a bag of gold coins to Kai that reached no where near him. "That should be more than enough to cover the cost." He smirked triumphantly.

’Is he trying to show that he’s in charge? The guy didn’t even bother trying to toss the bag of coins to me. Do you think I’m easy, bitch? Fuck that.’

Kai kicked the coins away. "Not for sale."

"E-Excuse me?" Never in his life had Snore witnessed someone completely brush him off like that. He had never experienced this level of disrespect in his life. It made him furious. To make matters worse, this was in an open area where people were watching. His pride was being damaged.

"How dare you disregard the young master’s kindness!" The knight drew his sword.

"Stupid commoners. They are nothing but animals. I tried to play nice, but they just don’t listen. Carl, kill this bastard and take those two women to my room." He licked his lips. "I have some wild mutts to train tonight."

"Ew." Gwen gagged.

Amaya scrunched her face. "I’d rather die."

"Kill them!" Snore ordered

Carl and the other knights drew their swords and charged at Kai.

With one flick of his finger, Carl’s head came clean off. Then, Kai released his mana to the fullest.

Snore fell to the ground, his body shaking from shock and fear. He could feel death on his shoulders, and he pissed his pants. "M-Mommy!"

"Y-Young Master, this guy i-is a tier-10 warrior!"

All the other knights were too scared to move. Even if they wanted to, Kai’s power kept them in place.

Kai took one step forward, and one knight collapsed. He continued walking, and the others collapsed as well, not being able to withstand his power.

"Your knight died because of your stupidity. You think being a noble makes you so tough? What are you doing right now? Pissing your pants?"

"I’m sorry! I’m sorry!" Snore apologized. "Please don’t hurt me!"

"Nah, don’t worry. I won’t hurt you. I’ll just fuck your mom right in front of you and your father. When you cry and beg me to stop, I want you to remember that everything was your fault. And then, when you see your mom covered in my fluids, crying her eyes out, just know that it was you who put her there."

Kai walked away, and Snore passed out.

"I was ready for you to kill the bastard. I even had my spells ready!" Gwen started juggling with a fireball and aimed it at Snore’s carriage.

"Nah, let them be. He reminded me of that bastard back in Hearthwood, the mayor’s son. I should have fucked his mom in front of them. So now, I’ll rectify that mistake."

Amaya retracted her claws. "Hehe, you should do that to every nobleman who insults you. Fuck all of their close female family members."

"Holy shit. Amaya, you’re a genius! I’m doing that from now on."
