The Heiress Spoiled by Four Brothers and One Devilish CEO-Chapter 134 New Professor
Brandon had always been the cool, distant type—the kind of cold, untouchable guy that made people think twice before speaking to him. Total walking iceberg.
So when Samuel came knocking with yet another request for a DNA test, Brandon practically scoffed inside. Samuel was notorious for chasing shadows. Anytime he found even a sliver of a clue, he’d grab a strand of hair from some random girl and run straight to Brandon for testing.
Every single time ended in disappointment.
But—this time felt different. The moment Brandon heard "Megan," an image of a delicate girl popped into his head. Her features... they looked so much like their mother’s.
Without any hesitation, he told Samuel to bring her over himself. He didn’t trust this kind of thing being passed through someone else. Too important.
Samuel noticed Brandon didn’t question it and realized—even the ice king had his hopes up.
With that, Samuel picked up speed heading toward the school gates—only to get shoulder-checked by a lanky student who came barreling out of nowhere.
Caught off guard, he lost hold of the hair he’d brought. It drifted down with a swirl of crisp autumn wind, twisted together with falling leaves, and disappeared without a trace.
He froze. The smirk on his face dropped. His tone was sharp as he barked, "You even watch where you’re going?"
The student clutched at his glasses, apologizing nonstop. "I’m so sorry! I’m late for class—I didn’t mean to—really!"
A couple of nearby students slowed down, staring. Samuel, who’s usually chill and all sunshine, was suddenly blowing up over a bump on the shoulder? Seemed a little extra.
Samuel shot the guy a cold sideways glance, then started combing the ground for that one strand of hair. No luck, of course.
He muttered something under his breath and brushed by the other student, who was still watching him walk away. The student adjusted his glasses again, a faint smirk forming.
Samuel slipped into his sports car and hit the call button.
"Brandon, I’m not coming over. I lost the hair."
"Knew it. You’re hopeless."
"...Thanks," Samuel gritted out.
"Go get another one."
Samuel’s face twisted. "If Tristan finds out I pulled hair from his wife, he’ll friggin’ kill me!"
"Between you and our little sister, we’re all picking her. Take one for the team."
Samuel muttered, "Are you even human..." before the line cut off. He sighed deep, got out of the car, and turned back around.
In the shadows, the student from earlier pulled out his phone.
"Boss, the Lewis family still hasn’t given up on the DNA test with Megan."
A sinister laugh echoed in return. "Bernard’s about to start the experimental treatment. Make sure he doesn’t wake up."
The student chuckled darkly. "If something goes wrong with Bernard, Megan’s gonna hate Brandon forever. You really hit two birds with one stone, boss."
The bell rang through the phone. The man immediately ended the call.
A pair of polished black shoes stepped into the classroom. Heads turned—every single one of them.
The man was dressed sharp, suit fitting just right. A beige trench coat slung over one arm. He walked up to the podium with an easy confidence. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
The classroom exploded.
"Tall, hot, and stylish—are we sure he’s not a celebrity?"
"Word is Professor Banks is only twenty-six and single!"
"Isn’t he the youngest prof this school’s ever had?"
Rachel practically squealed. Both hands cupping her cheeks, she whispered, "He’s so pretty... prettier than most girls I know."Megan shot her friend a sideways glance and smirked. "You used to think Kai was the hottest guy ever. Turns out you’re just shallow—first Jason, now this Professor Banks?"
She cleared her throat lightly. "Speak of the devil, Kai’s here."
Rachel either didn’t hear her or thought Megan was joking, completely unaware of the lean figure who had quietly taken the seat next to her.
His cool gaze seemed to drop the temperature a few degrees. A chill ran up Rachel’s spine, and she turned stiffly toward the source of the cold aura. "K-Kai... Kai?"
Kai grabbed the back of her hoodie and tugged her up, dragging her straight out of the classroom.
Megan watched the two walk off and chuckled helplessly.
On the podium, the man casually draped his long coat over a chair. His lips curled into a warm smile, calm and charming.
Those long, narrow phoenix eyes were ridiculously gorgeous—borderline magical. His features were so delicate he could outshine most women.
"Hi everyone, I’m William Banks. I’ll be your art culture instructor this term.
Today, we’re diving into what exactly ’art culture’ means. Basically, it’s made up of two parts: art and culture. But if we’re treating it as a concept of its own, then we’re talking about the study and understanding of how art originates, evolves, the forms it comes in, where it stands today, and everything else that comes with it..."
Pretty much all eyes in the room stayed glued to the new, insanely good-looking professor. Well, everyone except Megan—her mind was doing its own wandering.
"The student in the beige trench coat at the back—please stand up."
Heads turned as people tried to see who just got lucky—or maybe unlucky—being called out first by the new prof.
Professor Banks strolled with calm, steady steps down the aisle, catching every girl’s eye. He came to a stop right in front of Megan and tapped gently on her desk.
"You there, mind telling me what the main features were in Italian art from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance?"
Megan rose slowly, eyeing the man in front of her—feminine beauty and all—and smiled. "That period showed a mix of tradition and innovation. Major changes happened in painting, architecture, and how cities were designed. You can really spot the difference when you compare it to Byzantine styles. Some artworks from that era also show how building designs shifted."
Banks tilted his head and looked down at her, his smile deepening. "So multitasking isn’t just a myth, huh? What’s your name?"
"Megan Shaw."
"Hmm, Megan... Beautiful name."
His voice was smooth, like cool spring water, and that effortless smile somehow dimmed everything else around him.
One word: stunning.
Without drawing it out, he turned and made his way back to the front.
Just then, a tall figure appeared at the door, triggering a soft wave of squeals from the girls again.
Samuel gave a polite nod to Professor Banks before heading over and sitting next to Megan.
She gave him a look. The guy was hopeless—still chasing her even though she was already married. Seriously?
Samuel nudged her arm lightly. "My mom wants to meet up for coffee. You free?"
Megan glanced forward and noticed Amelia turning around to peek at them. She shut it down fast. "I’ve got plans tonight with Tristan."
A sudden weight hit her back, and she coughed softly.
Samuel’s hand relaxed beside her, something clenched in his palm. "No worries. Another time, then."
With that, he stood and walked off, quickly leaving the room.
As his silhouette disappeared past the doorframe, a flicker of something darker passed through William’s eyes.
