Chapter 286: Chapter 284- Can You Not Be So Shameless?

A burst of bright golden light emitted from the Heavens as if to heed this figure’s point. A rain of crimson flames blocked out the sky as it swept down towards the burly man.

"The flames are golden, Sol."

Little Abdu suddenly said.

"Oh."

Sol responded, and the illusory scene changed. The crimson flames became golden.

In retaliation, the burly man glared at the figure in defiance before the three-circle tattoo on his forehead lit up and expanded out to cover the earth.

The Divine Flames and the tattoo collided, but the scene ended at that moment.

"So, someone attacked ancestor Mar-Tu, and he used that rune to defend against it?"

Mar-Yue said, but it almost seemed as if she was speaking to herself.

"That tattoo was also on the stone monument. What is it?"

Mar-Dule turned to Sol to ask.

Sol touched his forehead as he replied.

"I don’t know what it’s called, but it’s like a symbol of one’s bloodline."

"Like your tattoos?"

Mar-Dule asked, and Mar-Du picked up on that being plural.

Sol gave Mar-Dule a bitter smile, and Mar-Dule instantly realized his mistake and clamped his mouth shut. He also gave Sol an apologetic look; however, Sol shook his head as if to say it was okay.

Sol then turned to Mar-Du and hesitated, but eventually, he said.

"If the dimension is closed because of the Divine Flames, then I might know a way to get past them."

Mar-Du frowned.

Even he, someone in the Heavenly Realm second only in power to the three strongest cultivators on both the Eastern and Western Continent, wouldn’t dare enter the dimension when those flames are at their strongest, or else he would be slowly burnt alive.

However, right now, a tiny brat in the Mortal Realm was saying he could. Mar-Du wasn’t looking down on Sol or his talent, but that claim was too absurd.

However, Mar-Du’s furrowed brows relaxed. If anyone else had made these claims, he would have completely dismissed them, but since it was this mysterious brat, he believed them somewhat.

"Then we’ll leave immediately."

Mar-Dule said in agitation.

"Wait."

Little Abdu suddenly interjected. He looked at Mar-Du and said.

"If you want to send people into the dimension to absorb portions of the Giant Race bloodline, then I suggest you give up on everyone who has already started cultivating in your current Fleshly Body method."

Mar-Du’s expression changed, but he asked politely.

"Senior, can you explain what you mean by that?"

Little Abud licked his paw and then said.

"Similar to how those on the Violet Continent cultivate with those Innate Dharma thingies now, the method you’re using to cultivate is not how those of the Giant Race cultivated in that past. Well, except for you."

Little Abdu turned to look at Mar-Dule as he said this.

"Me?"

Mar-Dule was stunned, and he pointed at his face.

Little Abdu nodded. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

"In the past, Immortal Mar-Tu was also called the Undying Immortal. When he was rebelling against the Immortals to free his Giant Race, he was nowhere near their level, but every time he was on the brink of death, he would burst forth with an absurd abundance of Metal Aether Energy, causing his strength to soar. Because of this, it became a nightmare for the Immortals to battle him as he was like a cockroach that couldn’t die."

Little Abdu paused to lick his paw before he continued.

"To defeat him, the Immortals worked tirelessly to discover how he was able to seemingly wield an endless supply of Aether Energy. What they discovered in the end was that he had created a strange Fleshly Body cultivation method that took advantage of his physique. He would store endless amounts of Aether Energy in his skin, flesh, acupoints, and even his bones. What was even more shocking was that his Aether Energy was truly endless since the more he cultivated, the larger he would become. When the Immortals found this out, they almost spat blood in frustration. It made no sense for them to try to cultivate such a suicidal method with their weak bodies.

"Some did try, but you can guess what happened after. However, with this, they had no way to stop Immortal Mar-Tu, and it was even more terrifying when he started teaching this method to the other members of his Giant Race. Can you imagine it? Thousands of undying cockroaches breathing down your neck? The Immortals had to promptly back off and bow their heads in apology to Immortal Mar-Tu."

As Little Abdu spoke, Mar-Yue and Mar-Dule couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride well up in their hearts. Even Mar-Du did as well.

"However, there is something else that I realized influenced his endless supply of Aether Energy after coming here."

Little Abdu’s eyes flashed.

"It’s highly likely that Immortal Mar-Tu had discovered the existence of Spiritual Palaces since it was virtually unknown back then. Given his ability to create a Fleshly Body Technique such as this, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he stumbled upon it during his research."

"Little Abud sir, did ancestor Mar-Tu engrave runes on all his acupoints to absorb Aether Energy into his body?"

"Hmm, I don’t know the exact details, but I assume it’s quite similar, or at least it has the same principle of storing Aether Energy in one’s flesh. Be proud, your talents are no less than those of your ancestor for thinking of the same methods he did. However, it’s a pity you haven’t accomplished much. Your body is quite inferior due to you missing your bloodline. You probably became this fat because of that as well."

Mar-Dule smiled bitterly when he heard that.

"So, if I hadn’t taken his bloodline, he would have been stronger?"

Little Abdu glanced at Mar-Yue, who had a guilty expression on her face. He shook his head and said.

"If you hadn’t taken away his bloodline then he wouldn’t have walked down this path. You did him a favor. After all, he’s now able to inherit Immortal Mar-Tu’s bloodline even more smoothly. Also, it must be fate since you cultivate Metal Aether Energy as well."

Little Abdu then turned to Mar-Du and said.

"I’d suggest you fully give him Immortal Mar-Tu’s bloodline. It would be a waste to split it between the younger children of the Tribe."

Mar-Du wore a hesitant expression, but he soon sighed and said.

"I think that is for the best as well."

It was a really difficult decision, but the pros of having just one person inheriting ancestor Mar-Tu’s Giant Race bloodline outweigh the cons of having it split up.

"Since it’s decided, then what are we waiting for? Let’s go retrieve my Inheritance!"

"Can you not be so shameless?"

Mar-Yue said, annoyed as she punched at Mar-Dule’s grinning expression, but missing.

Sol smiled when he saw this, while Mar-Du controlled his rune to leave this separate dimension.
