After all, Yang Guihua was no longer a young girl, and she carried herself with composure. After being embraced by Ling Feng for a while, she slowly pushed him away, "Okay, that’s enough sweetness for you for now. People will be coming soon!"

"Alright, then I’ll head back too. If there are more mushrooms tomorrow, I’ll bring them to you!" Ling Feng nodded.

"Great, if I can’t sell them all, I can find a buyer for you. Just keep sending them my way if you have them!" Yang Guihua said.

Ling Feng felt reassured, and after a slight smile, he rode his tricycle back home.

He was extremely delighted the whole trip back—not to mention the past two or three days, after deducting costs, he had made a net profit of fifteen thousand. This money came too easily!

"One day, I’m going to be a millionaire, a multimillionaire, or even a billionaire!" yelled Ling Feng as he cycled, shouting towards the sky!

Just then, he happened to pass through a village, and the people who saw him were startled by his shout, giving him sideways glances as if he were a fool.

Ling Feng chuckled to himself, unconcerned, as he sped all the way back to Shiliu Village.

When he got home, he saw that Mo Jiaolan and Chen Yuhe were not in the house. He went to the backyard to check and found the two of them feeding the animals.

Seeing Ling Feng return, Chen Yuhe ran over immediately: "Come and see, it seems like the animals have grown a bit bigger again!"

"Really?"

Ling Feng walked over and saw that, indeed, as she had said, the little guys seemed to have gotten bigger!

He had only fed them Yuan Ling Pills once, and it had been several days now, but the effects were still there.

Ling Feng thought to himself that once the younger ones could eat solid food, he mustn’t overfeed them again because it would be troublesome if they grew too large.

Just as he was thinking this, he saw Chen Yuhe pouring corn into the feeding trough, and he suddenly noticed something wasn’t quite right!

The corn was usually yellow, so why were there black particles in it?

Ling Feng’s heart tightened, and he quickly squatted down to take a closer look, but before he could see clearly, the black particles were snatched away!

"Uh, Yuhe, did you put something in this corn?" Ling Feng turned around and asked.

"Yes, there was a small bag of black stuff. It smelled nice, so I thought it was part of their feed?" Chen Yuhe said innocently.

Ling Feng was stunned, "And then what?"

"Then I tried a few of them, and it turned out they really liked the taste. I threw one in, and they snatched it away, so I brought over a bit more!" Chen Yuhe said with an innocent face.

"How, how many did you take in total?" Ling Feng’s words were hardly cohesive as he stammered the question.

"Not many, I saw there wasn’t much of that stuff and it must be expensive, so I only took a bit over twenty pieces—hey, why have you turned so pale?" Chen Yuhe asked, puzzled.

Ling Feng wasn’t just pale, his heart was about to explode!

He had only fed the animals a dozen or so Yuan Ling Pills, and now this girl had given them more than twenty—wasn’t this courting death!

Noticing the change in his complexion, Mo Jiaolan couldn’t help but ask, "Ling Feng. What’s wrong?"

"Nothing, nothing. Have you ever seen a mountain chicken as big as an ostrich?" Ling Feng asked with a bitter smile.

"Huh?"

The two women were baffled by his nonsensical question, and Mo Jiaolan looked on incomprehensibly, "What do you mean?"

Ling Feng helplessly realized that the Yuan Ling Pills had already been eaten and there was no turning back. He could only tell the two women, "Those black particles are a medicine I concocted myself. It’s only because they ate them that the animals have grown this big. Now that Yuhe has given them so many, I think we’ll be seeing mountain chickens as big as ostriches in a few days!"

"What?"

Chen Yuhe’s eyes widened as she listened, and she immediately regretted, "It’s all my fault, I should have asked before feeding them, I’m sorry."

"It’s fine, the medicinal pills aren’t worth much, what I’m really worried about is the pheasants and wild hares growing too big, and their appetites increasing as well; this will use up a lot of food!" Ling Feng said, a bit pained by the thought.

Upon hearing this, Chen Yuhe relaxed and chuckled, "I thought it was something serious. You’re just worried about the food? That’s easy to fix; I’ll take care of their feed from now on. I’ll go to town in a bit and buy a truckload of corn for you, is that okay?"

"You said it, your word is your bond!" Ling Feng immediately responded!

Chen Yuhe rolled her eyes at him, "Miser, of course, I’ll stand by my word!"

Ling Feng chuckled without replying. In truth, he had said this only to relieve the pressure on her. What he was actually concerned about wasn’t really the issue of feed.

If the pheasants and hares became too large, selling their offspring might become a problem in the future!

Fortunately, the first batch of young ones was already there. If push came to shove, they would just have to continue breeding, he supposed.

"By the way, Ling Feng, did you sell your mushrooms so quickly?" Mo Jiaolan asked.

"Yeah, I delivered them to that shop owner, and she kept them all," Ling Feng replied.

Chen Yuhe was curious, "How much did you sell today?"

"Twenty-three thousand. Impressive, right?" Ling Feng was waiting for this question and immediately asked with a flourish of excitement.

"Wow, that’s amazing, you’re really good, nearly catching up to a tenth of my dad’s daily income!" Chen Yuhe applauded.

Ling Feng’s smile instantly vanished as he glared at her, "You little brat, trying to rile me up?"

"What? Are you going to bite me?" Chen Yuhe taunted with a tilted chin.

Mo Jiaolan sounded exasperated, "Can’t you two stop bickering?"

Ling Feng glared at Chen Yuhe before turning his head and asking, "Jiaolan, is mining that profitable?"

"Uh, I guess so, the mining industry has done well these past few years, it’s indeed quite profitable," Mo Jiaolan replied.

"No wonder people often say someone is rich by claiming their family owns a mine," Ling Feng nodded in understanding.

"What, you’re considering getting into mining too?" Chen Yuhe asked when she saw him deep in thought.

"Me? Stop kidding, I don’t have the capital for that," Ling Feng shook his head.

"Capital is one thing, but having resources is more important. As long as you can find a mine, you won’t have trouble finding investors!" Chen Yuhe said.

Ling Feng looked at her skeptically, "You make it sound so easy, who knows where to find a mine?"

"Doesn’t the barren mountain under Li Yumei’s property have a mineral vein?" Chen Yuhe said.

"What of it? Your dad is already planning on developing that land, what does it have to do with me?" Ling Feng rolled his eyes.

Chen Yuhe smiled, "Hasn’t he not started developing it yet? You’re so close with Li Yumei, and you’ve done their family a big favor. Why not just buy the land?"

Ling Feng was dumbstruck, looking at her he asked, "Are you really a Chen? Or were you adopted? Could anyone be so determined to undermine their own father?"

"You!"

Chen Yuhe was furious, raising her little fists to hit him, but Mo Jiaolan quickly stepped in to stop her, "Alright, if you two don’t stop it, I’m heading back!"

"No, sister, if you go he’ll definitely bully me more!" Chen Yuhe pleaded right away.
