Chapter 273: Chapter 273 Bad Uncle!

Li Fei’er felt a surge of secret elation.

However, just at that moment, she suddenly sniffed her nose and asked, puzzled, "What’s that smell?"

Ling Feng, feeling helpless, said, "If you don’t get up soon, I’ll have a river of blood on my hands!"

Li Fei’er, upon hearing this, was even more confused. She lifted her head and brought her nose close to his face, nearly touching noses with him.

At the same time, she also picked up the scent—it was the smell of blood.

"Uncle, what’s wrong with you?" she asked, perplexed.

"What do you think? It’s your fault I have a nosebleed!" Ling Feng grumbled.

"Ah!"

Li Fei’er jumped in fright, frantically flipping over to sit up and grabbing her phone to shine it on Ling Feng’s face, only to become panicked!

"Uncle, why is your face covered in blood?"

"Don’t worry, it’s just that men sometimes get nosebleeds when they’re too heated up," he reassured.

Seeing her panic, Ling Feng didn’t feel it right to say more, so he quickly got up and got off the bed.

After washing up outside, the annoyance in his heart had mostly dissipated. He returned to the room, stood beside the clay bed, and looked at Li Fei’er, who was trying not to laugh. Ling Feng said, feeling helpless, "Can you stop now?"

"How should I put it, uncle? Do you have self-control, or not?" Li Fei’er cocked her head and teasingly asked with a playful expression.

Ling Feng’s face flushed red, and he glared at her. "Keep it up, and I’ll go sleep outside in the yard!"

"Okay, okay, I’ll stop talking. Happy now?"

Li Fei’er chuckled and quickly shut up.

After rolling his eyes, he lay back down on the clay bed.

Li Fei’er stayed seated, her eyes brimming with mirth and her body visibly trembling. Clearly, she was still trying to hold back her laughter.

Ling Feng, too lazy to deal with her, simply turned over, leaving his back facing her.

The light outside gradually brightened until a sliver of sunlight shone into the room.

Li Fei’er rubbed her eyes and looked up at him. "It’s so nice to wake up and see uncle first thing in the morning," she said.

"Wake up and go wash your face. You’ve got sleep in your eyes!" Ling Feng told her.

"What?"

Being a girl and quite conscious about her appearance, Li Fei’er was startled at the comment and quickly reached for the corners of her eyes, only to find nothing there!

Seeing Ling Feng’s triumphant, mischievous smile, she couldn’t help but punch his chest with her little fist. "Bad uncle!"

Ling Feng chuckled and then said, "It’s getting late. Let’s get ready and head home."

"We’re not waiting?"

"Wait for what? It’s just a waste of time. We’ll come back if we get a chance!" Ling Feng said, sitting up.

Li Fei’er wasn’t convinced by his words and actually felt that the previous night was very enjoyable and not a waste at all!

But seeing that Ling Feng was ready to leave, she didn’t object and began dressing herself.

They tidied up briefly, restoring the room to how it was, preparing to leave.

Just then, Yellow, who was lying on the ground, suddenly raised his head, his ears pricking up in alert before he dashed out the door.

Ling Feng looked outside and saw a hunched figure push open the wooden gate, walking into the yard.

"Finally back?"

Upon seeing the person, Ling Feng murmured to himself.

"That’s just perfect. Our trip wasn’t in vain after all!" Li Fei’er exclaimed with delight.

With the owner of the house returning, they naturally couldn’t stay inside. So they quickly went out to greet him.

"Old man, you’ve finally come back!"

Once he got a clear look at the person, Ling Feng swiftly greeted him with a smile.

The individual was an elderly man with white hair and a face full of wrinkles, appearing to be at least eighty years old.

"Sorry to have kept you waiting. Please come inside and sit down," said the old man, unsurprised by the presence of Ling Feng and Li Fei’er as he nodded and spoke.
